Wife of "Tom from AZ" here... Your kind remarks SO touched my husband as we watched your gift unboxing today, and even more so with the inclination (on both your parts) that you'd want to make efforts on screen to play the flute. We also laud Jesse's comments about contributing to those in our own communities; Tom started making flutes for a local group called Flutes for Vets. The flutes he, and others, make are then given to Vets with PTSD. Currently, this is a local group, but the gal who's heading it up would very much like it to expand. Our Vets need our support even more AFTER they return. My husband Tom says to tell you both that it makes no difference which hand is on top or bottom do what is the most comfortable and practicing the scales up and down will make the flute easier to play. He also says that we both try to help our neighbors most often by just helping them with task around the yard and with projects. The gift of the Native american style flute is a spirit gift. One to use and enjoy with friends and family.

That's really cool stuff especially the crocheting. I remember when I was little watching Bob Ross and the new Yankee workshop. My grandma would be making afgans. She taught me to crochet a potholder. Yah I'm manly enough to admit I can crochet. Later in life one year I made everyone house shoes with my abilities and taught my wife to crochet. But it's things like that that are priceless.
