    Why is everyone complaining about re-runs? These videos might be re-runs for some, but they're brand new to others, like me! If you consider yourself a true fan, you should be understanding and supportive of Zac's decisions. He doesn't owe us anything, and we’re lucky to have access to his content at all. Entitlement isn’t a good look! Let’s show some appreciation instead of making demands.

      Thats like saying businesses don't need their customers. Our views, comments and likes are what gets him paid. Everything is product promotions and reruns now. So yea we have a right to say we arent gonna keep watching reruns or product promotions. Its all about money now.

      @@RockMongerYou’re probably paying $0 to watch his videos, yet you’re complaining about how he runs his channel? Let’s be real, this is his job, and like any job, it’s about making a profit. That’s how he pays for editors, future projects, and even the free content you’re watching. Saying "it’s all about money now" is shortsighted. Of course it is, because that's how businesses and creators sustain themselves. If you don’t like the content, you’re free to not watch, but criticizing someone for running their channel in a way that works for them is unnecessary.

    Don't know why a few people are complaining. I love this channel since I discovered it a few months ago due to the pirate ship videos. I saw some of these videos in this compilation but not all. So, it is cool to just sit down and enjoy almost 2 hours of Fowley being awesome and wholesome.

    I know the burning procedure is for weather and water, but man it really makes it look so cool too! I see everyone in comments are complaining about this being a reupload of all old videos put together, but I've never seen any videos from this channel before, so I'm stoked to run into it in my recommendations. And technically it worked, because I just subscribed and have a lot of videos to now check out! Guess you can't make everyone happy? because paying so much for free UA-cam videos and content really deserve to be criticized as much as possible from the comforts of our couches😂

    • @C.O._Jones
      @C.O._Jones Місяць тому +15

      What you do or build affects other people and the environment. It’s the government’s responsibility to make sure that you do it right so the impact is not a negative one. If you want to live in a community, you are responsible to others as well as yourself.

    • @C.O._Jones
      @C.O._Jones Місяць тому

      @@artsteadman2230 “Community” has many scopes. Yes, he’s not in a city or town, but he is in a county, a state, and a country. The fact that he has no water, plumbing or sewer to deal with bodily waste and other detritus is exactly one of the issues. It must be disposed of properly. If, for example, he had a mound of human feces, its impact goes far beyond the immediate area. Such a mass attracts insects and vermin, which would rapidly multiply and spread. It would also provide an ideal environment for microbes and parasites, which would spread via runoff. We see the impact of these kinds of things all the time, such as when contaminated food from another country with more lax laws enters our food supply and sickens or kills numerous people.
      I entirely support the idea of living self-sufficiently and far from other people, but we are still responsible for ensuring our actions do not impact others. Laws that may seem to exist only as an inconvenience are far more likely designed to protect everyone from situations individuals have not foreseen.

    Hello mr. Fowler, few ideas came through my mind, that might help with comfort of your new cottage/tiny house.
    1) Not sure, if the trailer tires are the best and most firm foundation of a building. The jacks might be welded poorly, but should be much more stable than plain tires.
    2) The foundantions "trench" might in time retain rainwater under your tiny house. Sugesting in longer term to dig some outlet toward the lake.
    3) Some awning over your patio should be helpfull, if you start the night grilling with friends and the weather stops to cooperate... Alternatively, it might help to have awning (or some other foldable tent-like structure) over your truck, when parked.
    4) For both heating in winter and cooking - some woodstove inside will take up some space, but should make winter nights much cosier. Only other downplay i see is the need for chimney.
    5) I think, the outhouse/workplace will need some extra insulation, if you intend to use the tiny house in winter.
    6) So close to the lake ought to be some underground watter. Have you contemplated about the well, as source of watter for faucet?

  • @JayKaufman

    As a 40+ year cottage (Canadian equivalent to a lake house in the US), you're going to regret that style of dock every time you have to take it out during the winter when the ice comes in and takes it down the lake.

    Nice build beautiful location! I am sure you know, but if you want more water pressure just elevate your water tank. For every 2.31 foot of elevation you gain 1 PSI head. Enjoyed your build great job!

    An on demand pressure pump will give you all the pressure you need for your faucet. They run great off of a Jackery!

    For your lake, you must use eelgrass (Zostera marina). You can plant it yourself when diving with a snorkel, and it requires many years of effort.
    Zostera marina is like first aid for your hard-pressed lake, because the green plants remove nutrients and carbon from the water by binding it in their biomass. In addition, eelgrass creates living and breeding places for small and larger animals and can constitute a permanent food source.

    1:29:00 you could consider putting little pressure pump in to get a little better water pressure, there are some for rv and such that run on 12 v and will boost up the pressure should work really good in your case

    You probably can't run mains power straight to a trailered tiny home but, around here I often see main power run to a pole on the property and mobile/modular/RVs connected to the box on the pole.

    You need to lay some Flag Stone in front of your Cabin, instead of rock....it would look really nice and less dirt going into your Cabin.
    Just a thought!!!

    Get the 30a 120v to 15/20a 120v plug adapter and use the big plug on the jackery and should stop the bog and breaker trip on dewalt saw.

    The channell is new to me.. I believe God led me here. It's been the hardest year of my 62 years, I didn't think I would make it. . Tonight your video kept me sane and out of my brain. Now I will get to my conversation with Jesus. Thank You, so very much... I don't know anything about building a channel but I don't think you owe anyone anything. Bee You 🐝......Thank You
