Personally spring tides for me on my local estuary are impossible to fish because of the weed I mid size flooding tides seem much better in my opinion But all you have said is very good solid advice I start fishing for gilts at the beginning of march if the water clarity is good Keep up the good work 👏🏻
Well don't have estuary where I live, Also had my first gilt last year was a tank at 46cm on a 10g-40g spinning rod size 2 Aberdeen bait was 2 whole peeler crabs Top tip is look for muscles growing on the rocks 😉
Look for any rocky areas or wood structures nearby for limpets. Cracking bream bait, free and difficult to get off the hook.
Brilliant point! Those pesky Bream can almost make it an art, pinching bait from a hook, limpets would be good and tough.
