Lovely locos. I have had H2 'Beachy Head' in BR early livery for around a year now and it performs really well. I think I paid about £130 from Rails and I run it with a 'Birdcage' set. 'Beachy Head' was the last Atlantic to run in Britain and was scrapped in 1958. Plans are afoot to build a new one from scratch; an old boiler was found, and I believe the framing is built.

Enjoyed your review, and the full asking price is too much. The Budget Rolling Road you did three week ago I purchased and found it to be good as you said. Thank you for finding it, and the cost of it is still good.
Like the other atlantics it's like an Italian sports car again. Yes it's flawed and a bit shaky mechanically, but it's absolutely gorgeous and you can't help but love it.
Sticking just to the quality and value for money aspects (I am not qualified to comment on anything else), I agree with you 100% Bachmann need to be told that this is not what you should expect for £200plus! Standards need to be far far higher. After the live stream on Friday (thanks for the shoutout / birthday song), I discussed the idea of Bachmann / Hornby actually responding to your videos with my wife. We both agreed the only way to get them to notice is to cost them money, so come on people, do what Sam’s suggests and vote with your wallets! Best.
haha me neither really Adam - but yes I agree - after Dapol's Prairie has just been released for around £80 less on RRP, I can't see any reason why Bachmann's latest H2 should be over £200... madness! Thanks for watching, Sam :)
The Atlantic looks amazing! I love the wheel configuration along with the livery and detail it has! It would’ve been cool if this also had an opening smoke box door like the C1 Atlantic you reviewed 2 years ago! And speaking of it, I do like the bright green livery on that Atlantic than this one, but it still looks good!
So, I'm not a model railway enthusiast, I'm a scale modeler by trade. However your vids are so entertaining! So after watching a few vids of yours I'm now subbed and look forward to seeing more!!
I've noticed that a lot of your engines tend to bind at the first curve at the beginning of Gordans Hill. Have you checked the gauging of your rails recently?
He needs to get his setup off of the ground more to a professional level. Especially since his channel is pretty large, it would overall make the train run better.
@@the_minimalistic_adventure True. But Sam's into reviews not operation. Besides, if the engines and rolling stock will run on his carpet layout they should run any were.
Do you think he could get a little bit of both if he put cork railbeds under the rails? That way it still works as a carpet layout but still help the rails out with the gauging issues
Yeah I totally agree far to overpriced. I was initially happy with all my atlantics but as my knowledge of model loco's has increase I feel I got horribly ripped off with these. the cheapest one I got was south Foreland for 135 from the Modal rail Scotland event back in 2020. Bachmann are on a different planet now if they think they are being reasonable with their latest prices, its a shame. Thanks for review as always Sam, keep up the good work :)
Interesting review Sam, thanks for sharing ... Loved the 'finally have enough Atlantics for one on each set of rails' ... one reason I haven't purchased one yet, despite really wanting one! Unusual that the chassis' a bit 'sticky' - I generally find Bachmann chassis smoother-operating than Hornby - despite the bushes or not. Al.
That's very true Alan... definitely could do some running sessions with those soon! Yeah I've got lots of fantastic Bachmann runners too... but without much consistency! Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Hi Sam. My H1 "Portland Bill" uses the same mechanism. It can be a bit hesitant and needs the occasionl prod at times. Just reset all the tender pick ups and job done. Don't think they were doing much. Thanks for the info.
To think this is what Henry was originally going to look like had Awdry's illustrators not made him into the Stanier Black 5 that we know today...awesome video, Sam!
Thanks Sam another informative review .I haven’t run mine yet ,it is in black , wish I got in southern livery now , it does look & run superbly . Keep up the great work .
Enjoyed watching your review of this lovely locomotive. I agree the recommended price is far too high. About £150 seems about right. I can see loads of people falling in love with it and buying it anyway. Thanks once again for a very good review. Regards Paul.
I'm not really a OO person but I have watched a few of your vids (good by the way) and it seems to be a common theme that they don't run properly, and OO modellers seem to accept it! I work in O gauge and many RTR models, often by the same manufacturers, also have the same issues. I would have assumed that the first priority for a manufacturer is that the model loco actually works! Perhaps this reflects the (too) cheap cost of both OO and O RTR models, and the subsequent corner cutting?
Hi Sam, I tried getting hold of one of these Atlantics from the model shop, but these were a special apparently and no longer available at £120. So I'm gonna have to spend 200 for the weathered Beachy Head version ( I live a mile or so from Bluebell Railway were a reconstructions being made) against my better judgement. The point of this comment is to ask you to state what date you buy each Loco you review please. Cheers keep up the good reviews
200 quid? Ouff crickey me dear aunt, you wouldn't like modern Trix or Märklin then, LOL! The C1 and H2 are lovely, the shape and paintjob are very appealing on them. Harmoinous, balanced machines. I'd get one if they were availible in H0... Do try get your hands on a Trix version of the Bavarian B VI class 2-4-0s sometime, Sam. Lovely things, those! I own two of them by Märklin and they are solid runners with easy maintainance and built like right tanks. Seriously, get one. *_Get one!_*
Absolutely stunningly beautiful loco, possibly the most beautiful model in OO I've ever seen. This livery is, as you say, just so rich. If it looks right, it is right, as they say, and this is so right. £150 would be OK to charge for this I reckon, £220 is a bit of a swizz, really... Sprung buffers are the biggest dead cat ever, however, why do any OO models even have them? As an industrial and graphic designer I'm trained to make an informed judgement on aesthetics and this ticks all the boxes. If we don't buy the models the companies will either go out of business or only the rich will get to buy them. I always haggle in the model shop and always get a tenner off the asking price, but then I'm just a bit tight in the wallet :) The mechanism seems very poor and cheap'n'nasty, a three pole motor is not good enough bearting in mind how cheaply one can buy a five pole example from China these days and electrical tape looks like a bodge of the lowest and most desperate order. I think you do take things as you find them, without an agenda, so I enjoy your reviews a great deal and find other folks moaning quite amusing! All in all, I'm love with this loco a bit and I'm now considering which of my children I can sell to get one... (probably the ginger child) PS - I wonder if reaction to a review could be a new genre of UA-cam video?
That sounds like it could be really interesting to see a reaction to a review of this. I know that the concept is very similar to TheRussianBadger and everyone that reacts to him, since at it's core Badger plays games (most of the time with friends), makes reviews about them (albeit without a rating system) where he talks about the good and bad about games and his personal opinion on it or aspects of the game like almost all of his RS6 videos, and people do reacts to his videos all the time
I've always liked Atlantics: they have a similar profile to Pacifics, without looking quite so bulky. And this one is indeed beautiful... just a shame it's so expensive!
I liked the green livery on the atlantic H2 too bad that bachmann has not done the home work on how to make a good and service frendliy loco. Keep up the good work Sam. 👍👍👍👍🇸🇪🇸🇪👍👍👍
Sam, there is somthing to say about model trains, if the paintwork is not always the best looking or splattered, it may be sometimes a detail because then real trains sometimes have splattered paintwork too, Right?
Ah, the LBSCR H2 (and it's earlier variant H1). Basically a C1 with bigger (and far more efficient!) cylinders. Yes, the GNR Atlantics were good engines, especially after fitting with superheaters, but they needed to be thrashed to get the best out of them. LBSCR's offering did not need thrashing.
Hi Sam, great review and I hope it will help modelling fans to think seriously about buying one at the railroad robbery prices the manufacturers are asking. A point to note is that they all quote the higher Chinese wages and brexit , and tax hikes to imports. Nah it’s their investors and shareholders wanting the largest amount of return for the lowest investment. The amount of models produced ( we are not talking about a hundred of the same model ) but a hundred thousand at the minimum, and those are not at the same time shipment, they are over a minimum of 5 years, and the actual cost to the manufacturers ( Hornby, Bachman etc ) is apparently 1 tenth of the cost, tax is relevant only to the local government it is sold at ( uk is far from perfect, but is better than others ) shipping is less expensive than the companies claim, and brexit rules do not apply to China. Unless they are stupid enough to arrange for transportation through Europe by road, rail, sea, as they will pay because the goods touch the ground?? And by the state of some of the models, they fell . It’s the usual corporate excuse to make more profit, especially as you are well aware that some of the models have been around for 10 + years ( being generous, as a lot of them have been around 20+ years using the same design and tooling) . Don’t pay out large amounts of hard earned money for items which are far too expensive. With the current situation, they will suffer even worse in the future if more restrictions and lockdowns are the normal. Well done Sam, highly recommended channel.
Import VAT hasn't changed. It's still 20%. There is no duty on model railway products. They say they had to increase prices because shipping container charges have gone through the roof. Funny how they didn't reduce prices when shipping container charges crashed through the floor a (very) few years ago. The other thing that increases prices is the exchange rate between the $US and the Chinese Yuan. The companies pay with $US. Models are not produced in a hundreds thousand minimum. There really is only a few thousand of each model produced. The model rail industry is very small.
Nice locomotive and a very fair review Sam...... I couldn't agree with you more about the price and value.. Your £120 makes more sense than £200 plus....so you got a good deal........ Prices are starting to creep up more and more.......and obtaing goof VFM is something we all have to watch...... Just as an aside.........Accurascale are to bring out a new GUV in a year or so, and whilst it looks good, (in the review I have seen of the prototype), I am not sure that it is worth the likely asking price of £58.........yep! £58........ James Hennighan Yorkshire, England
i bought the GNR "CI" right when it was released from "locomotion"....and it was and still is a fantastic model loco......i was tempted to get one of the southern variants.....but am glad now that i didn't...:-)
I got a Wrenn W2237 4-6-2 Southern West Country “Lyme Regis” Loco - in Original Box for £125 from eBay after watching your review of this loco. You might like to make a video comparing Lyme Regis to a modern SR loco like this Atlantic in terms of speed, pulling power. I am pleased with my Lyme Regis and I found your review decided things when I saw the price! Thanks for uploading.
In your community post I talked about the value of model trains is my favorite part of HO/OO scale and then now you upload a video about the value of a model train ha ha
Hey Sam, now you have 3 different types of atlantics, do you think it might be possible to do a what’s the difference video? Like, as lovely as they are, it’s not easy to tell them apart… what sets apart a C1, a H1 and a H2?
Excellent review of the Bachmann H2 Atlantic Sam 👍👍 I personally like the two Southern versions, but I like to get the BR black version as I like to replicate what I will be seeing at the Bluebell Railway own new built H2 Atlantic. Fun fact the Great Northern Atlantic was going to be Henry in the Railway Series. And someone has done one with Henry face in the front of GNR Atlantic. I hope in a few years time that you will visit the Bluebell Railway yourself Sam as you will see the newly built replica H2 Atlantic will be in steam.
Lovely video Mr Warwell! Have you heard the new Christmas song? It goes 'On the third day of Christmas Sam's Trains Live gave to me Wires, Sam's real name and a Chav mobile!'
Yeah it's pretty similar if not identical... but manufacturing tolerances do lead to differences in performance... gauging can be slightly different between models, some motors happen to perform better than others, artefacts in the chassis casting etc etc.. this does perform largely similarly to my other Atlantics though. Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Bachmann gets pretty ridiculous with overpricing things. Here in the US, there's a set called the "Overland Limited" that Bachmann suggests should cost $445 USD! Now I don't own it (though I would like to), and it is a big set to be fair, but as far as I can tell it isn't particularly high quality or special. It's not DCC and it has no sound, it's just regular DC. It only has one locomotive, and if I'm not mistaken it's the same as the "Fake FEF" you reviewed a few months ago. To add insult to injury, a few years ago the suggested price was half the price it currently is, I don't understand how they can justify doubling it like that.
That shorted out capacitor will blow a decoder if you fit one! Otherwise Beautiful looking loco....... I got one Christmas 2019. Have you seen the "birdcage coaching stock" in Southern livery
TWO HUNDRED QUID!! It better be live steam then haha 😄 😆 😂 BTW yes a lner p1 does exist as you were wondering on stream. Also you and your sister sketch was brilliant, was she also the person who cracked your neck in the railwaymanship April fools video ? Because that was hilarious as well 😃👍
Hi Sami love your videos. I just came back to watching them after a long time and I’ve been binging videos. I was just wondering, what kind of fake grass would I use for a layout, and how would I go about purchasing it? Thank you.
I have a qeustion. With an opening smokebox door, how many times do you actually open it when you are using the train? Metal whistle and the like, sure we see that. The soldering is really horrid. For the price it should not look like it was done in someone's backyard with a giant iron heated on a gas burner.
Making a model railroad locomotive DCC ready is hella expensive though. Bachmann may be experimenting with different setups to give the consumer the best product available
Is it?! It’s just a basic standardised circuit board in series with the usual connections… nothing expansive about manufacturing DCC ready… though everything’s expensive to the customer… on that we sure agree!
Oh good one Sam a beautiful southern loco in green just a shame I’m at the end budget for a new loco all the funds gone on a iPhone 13 oops. All the best for Christmas Sam regards Fred
The tractive effort of a real steam engine quoted in kN, that's a first for me. Should be in pounds (lb) per the norm Sam. That soldering was hidious. In my aerospace factory back in the day, shopfloor employees had to pass a two week soldering course MIL 2000. That loco was done by someone with about 1 hour or less training, truly unacceptable Bachmann
Honestly, even at GBP120, I would not buy this one. The finish and the level of details is fair, the performances are useable, and you have an acceptable drivetrain beyond the motor output shaft. And, good thing for me, you have a real pony truck, not a joke with a blind axle. For the record, at the mark of GBP 220 / 250 € RRP, you have two equivalent locomotives expected as new : the Bachmann LNER V2 and, as I have seen today with my usual german retailers, the Roco BR 23, both 2-6-2 tender engines. For the same price as the Bachmann model, the Roco one have three headlights and... a real pony truck, not a blind axle like the Bachmann one. If UK manufacturers wants to sell their product at the same price as the german one, they have to match the features and the quality level, period. By the way, the forthcomint LNER A5 tank engine, a 4-6-2, made by Sonic Models for GBP 150, have a real ponny truck, go figure... Honestly, it's too late for me now with over 60 UK engines bought (and zero regrets plus tons of joy to have done it), but if I would start railway modelling now, I would completely ditch the idea of buying UK engines due to all those issues, from crappy mechanisms to shoddy quality control, and lots more. By the way, my two Dapol prairies are incoming, I had to pay the VAT bill yesterday before receiving the parcel from Rails of Sheffield...

Bachmann Branchline 31-921 Class H2 Atlantic 4-4-2 32424 Beachy Head.
a very well detailed loco. the cab is especially detailed
Enjoyed your review, and the full asking price is too much. The Budget Rolling Road you did three week ago I purchased and found it to be good as you said. Thank you for finding it, and the cost of it is still good.
Like the other atlantics it's like an Italian sports car again. Yes it's flawed and a bit shaky mechanically, but it's absolutely gorgeous and you can't help but love it.
haha I'd definitely agree with that! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Sticking just to the quality and value for money aspects (I am not qualified to comment on anything else), I agree with you 100%
Bachmann need to be told that this is not what you should expect for £200plus!
Agree totally, but the rich children will have to have one of each versions. Lol , give them a piece of coal ( model Z scale) instead. 😝
I agree - one of my favourite wheel configs! Lovely livery for sure :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Hi Sam ,Can,t believe Bachmann sent this loco out from factory. I suspect someone has done a repair on this loco .ie rounded off screw and soldering .
So, I'm not a model railway enthusiast, I'm a scale modeler by trade. However your vids are so entertaining! So after watching a few vids of yours I'm now subbed and look forward to seeing more!!
Thank you so much for the kind words - welcome aboard, hope you enjoy what's to come! :D
Merry Christmas - Sam :)
Have you checked the gauging of your space bar?
If the gauging was an issue, it would’ve affected the loco at higher speeds too
Yeah I totally agree far to overpriced.
Another great review as always Sam 👍
Hi Sam. My H1 "Portland Bill" uses the same mechanism. It can be a bit hesitant and needs the occasionl prod at times. Just reset all the tender pick ups and job done. Don't think they were doing much. Thanks for the info.
JESUS THANK YOU SAM I WAS WAITING A FEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha no problem - folks have been asking for this one! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Magnificent. :-) I note the crosshead is slim. Too many models have prett chunky/clunky-looking crossheads which lets their appearance down.
To think this is what Henry was originally going to look like had Awdry's illustrators not made him into the Stanier Black 5 that we know today...awesome video, Sam!
Yeah that's true actually... I'd prefer Henry as an Atlantic! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Thank you for making this happen Sam
Thanks Sam another informative review .I haven’t run mine yet ,it is in black , wish I got in southern livery now , it does look & run superbly . Keep up the great work .
One of my favourites, the atlantic. I recently got beachy head and its the atlantic getting rebuilt at the bluebell railway.
Have a good weekend
You have great taste then! And yes indeed - super exciting project!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
I think you were generous with the Quality. Bachmann could be forgiven for other quality issues, but not the soldering!
Indeed, what a mess !
fantastic review. does anybody else take them apart and forensically examine the motors like this?
13:34 Looks they forgot the last "N" in Southern.
Enjoyed watching your review of this lovely locomotive. I agree the recommended price is far too high. About £150 seems about right. I can see loads of people falling in love with it and buying it anyway. Thanks once again for a very good review. Regards Paul.
Thanks a lot Paul - £150 would hit the spot, I agree!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
I'd love to get my hands on one, but the price is a bit too high for me
I hope Hornby does a railroad model, or another company for cheaper
I don't blame you - price a bit silly on these now sadly :(
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Thomas the Tank Engine and the Henry prototype (Railway Series) were both from the LB&SCR (E2 and H2)!
Are your Crocs BR black (unlined) then Sam?
No, they’re LNER wartime black... can’t you tell?!
@@SamsTrains ha ha ha!
I always haggle in the model shop and always get a tenner off the asking price, but then I'm just a bit tight in the wallet :)
The mechanism seems very poor and cheap'n'nasty, a three pole motor is not good enough bearting in mind how cheaply one can buy a five pole example from China these days and electrical tape looks like a bodge of the lowest and most desperate order.
I think you do take things as you find them, without an agenda, so I enjoy your reviews a great deal and find other folks moaning quite amusing!
All in all, I'm love with this loco a bit and I'm now considering which of my children I can sell to get one... (probably the ginger child)
PS - I wonder if reaction to a review could be a new genre of UA-cam video?
@ 24:09 Wow that’s feels like something that would happen off Thomas.
I liked the green livery on the atlantic H2 too bad that bachmann
has not done the home work on how to make a good and service frendliy loco.
The Brighton Atlantics were very heavily based on the C1s to begin with so it would make sense tbh. They're just an upgraded version of the C1 IMO
@@18EStudios Agreed. Douglas Earle-Marsh was at the GNR before he became the LBSCR's CME, and was a personal friend of both Ivatt and Gresley.
It's a heat shield in the cab, to protect the legs of the driver, and not a opening firebox door. Also where are the steam gauge and other gauges?
James Hennighan
Yorkshire, England
I think that’s the best looking loco in your collection that. So well proportioned
Great video Sam, thank you 👍
Hi Sam.. you do realise the bluebell railway has the Atlantic project n are currently building a replica of h2 beachhead 😊
so sam, any idea why they don'tsqew wind the 3 poles like the getter 5 pole sqew version, it should minimize cogging, just an idea and easy to do
One question though. Did you check the price for the same type of locomotive in the states, because when I bought one it wasn't too expensive.
Another top notch video stay safe👍
i bought the GNR "CI" right when it was released from "locomotion"....and it was and still is a fantastic model loco......i was tempted to get one of the southern variants.....but am glad now that i didn't...:-)
Yes that's the one I have too... amazing locos for sure!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
great review. tell you what, would love to see all three atlantics in a triple header, that would just look extraordinary.
Thanks so much! And that would be amazing actually - might have to make that happen some time!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Wow, not a bad price at all! And that sounds very interesting - nice idea! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
In your community post I talked about the value of model trains is my favorite part of HO/OO scale and then now you upload a video about the value of a model train ha ha
Thanks for that Robby - I remember reading your comment! This one was good value, but only at the sale price!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Hey Sam, now you have 3 different types of atlantics, do you think it might be possible to do a what’s the difference video?
Like, as lovely as they are, it’s not easy to tell them apart… what sets apart a C1, a H1 and a H2?
Excellent review of the Bachmann H2 Atlantic Sam 👍👍
I personally like the two Southern versions, but I like to get the BR black version as I like to replicate what I will be seeing at the Bluebell Railway own new built H2 Atlantic.
Thanks so much Joe - I really like the southern ones too! Definitely... the Bluebell is on my list!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
You think there’s a Bachmann LMS Claughton class 4-6-0?
Lovely video Mr Warwell!
Have you heard the new Christmas song?
It goes 'On the third day of Christmas Sam's Trains Live gave to me Wires, Sam's real name and a Chav mobile!'
Thank you!! haha that sounds just right, lol! ;D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Isn't this the same mechanism as in the other Atlantic you have in the LB&SCR Umber? Wouldn't think it would run any difference.
Mr.Sam, I am still waiting for when you decide to get a BR class 28 from Heljan, and just a heads up, some fully work while others go slowly.
I've just received the news that "Beachy Head" of this class has just been out of the Works and starting her new life on the Bluebell Railway.
Do you know Henry from thomas was a mixture between a A1 pacific and A C1 Atlantic Before he crashed with the flying kipper
Yeah I did know... just wish he'd always been an Atlantic ;)
Such a. Great vid can’t wait for the next
Atlantics looks so chonky and interesting I should make one out of Papier
Thank you so much - I sure love Atlantics! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
That shorted out capacitor will blow a decoder if you fit one! Otherwise Beautiful looking loco....... I got one Christmas 2019. Have you seen the "birdcage coaching stock" in Southern livery
I think it is worth the money it looks like a really nice locomotive, I do like Atlantic’s especially the LNER versions.
Thanks for sharing David - it's certainly worth what I paaid!!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
TWO HUNDRED QUID!! It better be live steam then haha 😄 😆 😂
BTW yes a lner p1 does exist as you were wondering on stream.
Thank you.
There is a new build H2 Beachy Head nearly finished at the Bluebell Railway.
Yeah absolutely - I've seen a few videos of that... looks lovely!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
hey can you do The L&YR class 21 or pug with 10 plank wagons of your chosing and the queen mary brake van
I got that loco version on first release of the H2,
Sam please review the bachmann skarloey im getting it into my collection
Hey want engines would you recommend for a BR era great western branch line
Sam! It is Worth the money (In my opinion)! Also, did you know Henry from Thomas and Friends was originally supposed to be the H2 Atlantic.
That is super cool isn't it? If only his character was an Atlantic... that'd be awesome!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Can you make a video of how to make a scene for a layout? Because I’m interested for when I do! (Please reply as well if you see this)
The family's nearly together! All we now is someone to do the Ivatt "Klondykes" and the family of the Ivatt/Marsh Atlantics would be complete.
Oh I'd love that - would be nice to have the set! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
I have a qeustion. With an opening smokebox door, how many times do you actually open it when you are using the train? Metal whistle and the like, sure we see that.
The soldering is really horrid. For the price it should not look like it was done in someone's backyard with a giant iron heated on a gas burner.
Fun fact: The new build H2 is almost finished. In fact, the engine itself is finished, it just needs the lining finished, and a boiler test!
The bluebell railway is building a new one of these, it will be a replica of Beachy Head and is quite far along.
They are indeed - cant' wait to see how it turns out! :D
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Some how i knew this was new and i am always happy to see a steam loco
Sam do you know that the unlucky tug has the same train
Making a model railroad locomotive DCC ready is hella expensive though. Bachmann may be experimenting with different setups to give the consumer the best product available
Is it?! It’s just a basic standardised circuit board in series with the usual connections… nothing expansive about manufacturing DCC ready… though everything’s expensive to the customer… on that we sure agree!
Fortunately a replica Atlantic has now been completed, no 32424 Beachy Head at the Bluebell railway
Sorry if you mentioned this in the review, but which southern livery is this? Is this considered Olive green?
This is Olive green yes. Malachite green is more "vibrant".
Oh good one Sam a beautiful southern loco in green just a shame I’m at the end budget for a new loco all the funds gone on a iPhone 13 oops. All the best for Christmas Sam regards Fred
Some also appeared in Bulleid's Malachite green.
Yes, all scrapped. But! A brand new one has been built and is in steam on the Bluebell Railway!
The tractive effort of a real steam engine quoted in kN, that's a first for me. Should be in pounds (lb) per the norm Sam.
That soldering was hidious. In my aerospace factory back in the day, shopfloor employees had to pass a two week soldering course MIL 2000. That loco was done by someone with about 1 hour or less training, truly unacceptable Bachmann
i thought you said ''acceptable''
tghat would've been some good sarcasm snark
I notice you have a terrier that looks a lot like a terrier named Stephany but I haven't seen you review Stephany
Yeah that's right - same class as Stepney, but different name!
Thanks for watching, Sam :)
You know Sam, that type of loco made the first 100 mph speed run here in the states.
I love the Atlantics. Such beautiful locos
