    I snapped my ACL clean off, stretched out my MCL, tore both sides of my meniscus and took the cartilage off the end of my femur in an accident. Was up and walking unassisted within 10 days. Unfortunately I've had complications and now I'm looking towards a possible 3rd surgery very soon.

      Wow! Your so young, but I do feel your pain. I am 73 with a total knee replacement and both hips replaced. Recently, I broke my ankle, so I know what it's like to be an adult toddler learning how to walk again. Best wishes in a speedy recovery to you. And, stay safe you have many decades ahead of you.

    I had meniscus surgery back in 2018. During recovery, I was feeling pain right where you identified the MCL. I had no idea why it felt like I was stretching and straining something in that area when I would walk. It definitely felt like a muscle or something, now I know.

    • @spvillano
      @spvillano 5 днів тому +1

      The last time I did a deep knee bend behind a desk, it took me five minutes to get back up unassisted.
      Less on a less, ahem, occupied desk that I could use to pull myself back upright.
      Knees and backs, both get heavy wear in the military.

    I wish these videos did a better job of orienting the item being displayed for the viewer. I'm sure it's obvious what "medial" means to some people, but is that the inside or outside of the knee? And was that the kneecap that got flipped out of the way?

    • @spvillano
      @spvillano 5 днів тому

      Neither and both, medial is center laterally. So, front or back, it's a central plane through the view.

    doubt he will see this but what causes a grinding and cracking sound when I move my right knee? I asked my doctor and she said 30 is too young to consider arthritis so she wasn't willing to do any tests on my knee😕

    • @BionicMilkaholic
      @BionicMilkaholic 9 днів тому

      Crackling can be normal. It's called crepitus. As long as there is no pain, there's no need to worry. Mine started in high school, maybe earlier.
      Pain started for me at 30. I had 2 partial knee replacements at 36/37. My arthritis was caused by an alignment issue.
      Arthritis at 30 may not be common, but it is possible. However, if it's just crackling and no pain, you don't need to worry about it.

    Can anyone help me out. I'm getting right knee pain when I perform squats/ anything which has bending my knees. My left knee is good. But right knee hurts. It starts with small pain but increases alot and lasts for days. It's been 2 weeks I haven't done any leg exercises because of it. Can anyone help me out? What might be the issue? Doesn't matter whether I use weights or not while performing leg exercises but I still get alot of knee pain only the right one

      I DEFINITELY RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE with you. It's YEHOVAH'S CREATION.Genesis 1:1"In the beginning God (  Elohim)   created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. [Heb 11:3]"AMP BIBLE. Ecclesiates 3:11 "He(YEHOVAH) has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]--yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end." AMP BIBLE. John 1:1"In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (  Christ), and the Word was with God, and   the Word was God Himself. [Gen 1:1; Isa 9:6]". AMP Bible. John 1:2 "He was [continually existing] in the beginning [co-eternally] with God"AMP Bible. Revalation 1:8 "I am the  Alpha and the Omega [the Beginning and the End]," says the Lord God, "Who is [existing forever] and Who was [continually existing in the past] and Who is to come, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all]." [Isa 9:6].AMP Bible. John 3:16 " For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and]   only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life". AMP Bible Mathew 4:17 "From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "  Repent [change your inner self--your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God's purpose for your life], for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."AMP Bible. He Also said John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, "  I am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me". AMP Bible. I would highly recommend the book titled "The Case for Christ" Written by a former ATHEIST Who set out to disprove Christianity and ended up as a Believer. Also the "Answers in Genesis" channel on UA-cam. It EXCELLENT content and Videos showing how He, (YEHOVAH) God created man and the Universe. With MUCH LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS ❤️ 😊
