I use the the hose extension to reach over to turn the paddle style switch on and off. Anything that save me steps or getting up and down, saves time and my energy. Strong handles and wheels allow you to load/unload and move a full container much easier. A strong lid attachment is very important. I had a full vacuum's lid come off while moving it out of a house I was working in. I was rolling it and picked it up to clear an extension cord when the top came off and spilled the contents in the clean part of a million dollar occupied home. I spent a day cleaning and dusting.

A filter bag will fit on the expensive one. Can you put a filter bag on the cheap one? I did not see a nozzle on the cheap one to slip the bag on... Thank you?
Yes, the filter bag will work on the less expensive one as well.
@@RENOS4PROSJOES Can you tell me what type of bag will fit on the less expensive model? I have one like this but the back of the intake is recessed up in the head and I can't find a bag that will go up into that slot.
You slightly touch on hose diameter performance but a general use performance demonstration is more helpful..
Is it worth the cost to get a two stage motor in a shop vac?
What is the CFM at the end of the hose? What is the decibel level?

Wow really dragged that one out. that was painful and at the end we didn't find out what we wanted to find out is the cheaper one just as good as the more expensive one
I did not explicitly state that the cheaper one wasn't as good, but the hose is smaller in diameter, the motor is smaller. the wheels aren't attached to the base as well, the top isn't attached to the base as well, and the top doesn't have as good of a handle. So based on these factors, the cheaper one isn't as good. The main point of this video was to give you some pointers on things to look for when you are comparing vacuums that look similar but have very different prices. They arent always as good of a deal as you may think.
I fell asleep somewhere between handle difference and the way the cord wraps up. Long story short I figured if the price was 4x more it probably had some sort of HEPA filter to eliminate dust or such, don't think the filters were mentioned but whatever. Another UA-cam timesuck.

This video is nothing more than CLICKBAIT. I wish I could down vote it a thousand times. The expensive model isn’t $189 no no no!! If you click his link it’s $370 on Amazon and of course he never provides a link to buy the cheaper model for $45 because no place sells that model for $45. So not only are the prices listed on the video thumbnail way off the video itself is way way waaaaay too long.painfully long as another commenter mentioned.
Thanks for commenting. The $189 version is what I paid, when this model was being sold in the big box stores. As you may know, when really good models of tools are discontinued, those who have old new stock usually raise the prices to whatever the market will bear. Additionally, this model is a more powerful vacuum than the ones the brand currently sells in stores nowadays. Some viewers in the past have asked what model it was, so I shared. As for the $45 vacuum, it was a doorbuster Black Friday deal. There is no way for you to get that deal other than being at the right place at the right time. The point of the video was to show the differences between the top-of-the-line vacuum and the doorbuster model from the same brand. The takeaway is to pay attention to what you are buying because two items that may look the same may perform very differently. Cheers!
