I immediately bought the pattern after watching this tutorial! Your cadence was easy to follow, the instructions were clear and thorough. Seriously can’t wait to make these!
I'm so glad you found the video helpful - I would love to see your head covers when they are done!
This is such a great project! Love how versatile it is to customize for each golfer. I was hesitant to try this, but after watching video I can’t wait to start a set for my hubs! Thanks for such a great pattern that’s easy to understand! 😊
You’re welcome Janet! I would love to see a pic when they’re done!
Thank you for having a video to go along with your patterns.
You’re welcome! I learn things so much easier by watching so I’m glad it’s helpful to others as well 😊
Which step would you suggest to add embroidery if I was going to put on instead of the numbers?
I would do the embroidery step after you qulit the fabric and before you cut out the head covers. This will allow you to center the applique' on the head cover more easily. You will also have more fabric to work with when you embroider.
What prevents the inside lining from getting yanked inside out when the club head is pulled out?
Nothing, but it really doesn't happen. The first few I put a stitch through the top of the cover and lining, then tied it on the inside of the head cover to keep the lining in. I forgot on my daughter's set and it was fine so I stopped doing it after that. We have several sets now with no stitch and it really isn't a problem. :)
@@EasyPiecyQuiltsinteresting. Will give it a shot.
@@CrispyGFX You can always add the stitch later if you have trouble. It's the last step and easy to do :)
Do I have to use the batting if my material is thick?
What did you put on the front side of the elastic? it looks like you added something?
It is just the stitching from the zig-zag stitch I used to sew the elastic down to the quilted fabric. I used matching green thread in the bobbin.
I purchased the downloadable pattern. Do i need to enlarge the pattern when i print it?
No, you shouldn’t have to adjust the scale. Print at 100% with no border if possible on your printer. There should also be a 1” square for reference as well to make sure the templates print out the appropriate size.
I bought your pattern! How far apart are your parallel lines?
About 1 1/2" inches apart :)
Can you do this same design with leather?
I don’t see why not. I don’t work with leather much, but I think a thinner or softer leather might work best, especially with the elastic.
How do I purchase your pattern?
Here is the link to my website for the pattern - thank you! Have a great weekend :)
