    I started this process about 5 weeks ago right before you posted this video and made my final copy the other night. Happy to see this now at least haha.

    Could you do one for putter covers, both mallet and blade? And share your patterns? :)

      @@chrisaesculus5520 Happy to help. What style putter. Blade or Mallet? I'm hoping to have some spare time to upload a putter tutorial in the next couple of weeks.

    What a great story! Well done you! My husband plays golf and told me I should think about sewing some covers for his clubs as I sew clothes. Looks like the embroidery side of it would be difficult as your machine looks pretty fancy! May give it a whirl without the embroidery. Thanks from and ex pat in Canada who escaped England!

    Hey Kole, awesome vid. Still trying to wrap my head around all of the details. Would you say 125mm x 250mm would work for a hybrid?

    • @kravegolf
      @kravegolf  2 місяці тому +1

      130 wide for hybrids 150 wide for fairways. You can make the length however long suits your needs. Nice to play around with the length on different designs.

    • @kravegolf
      @kravegolf  2 місяці тому +1

      Plus, I usually do length at x2 the width so you can fold in half for the elastic. Our sizes are 200x400 FW 150x300 and HB 130x260. Hope this helps.

    Kole, love your story and relaxed narration of the tutorial. I'm a fan now.
    What type of scissors, the black ones did you use to cut down the excess?
    Also, what model and brand is that mechanical machine that you used to sew the bottom shut?
    Cheers, TEG

    • @kravegolf
      @kravegolf  2 місяці тому

      Cheers TEG, I use a pair of 12 inch Taylor's Scissors. You can find them in most hobby store or online. They are heavy to begin with but you soon get used to them. The Machine is a Tysew TY-3600c-1 cylinder arm ( I made a removable custom table to fit it). This way it can be used as both flat walking machine and cylinder arm. Link to their website is in the description! I got the idea for the table from this video ua-cam.com/video/wvG_JjD3g3U/v-deo.html

    When you sew on the liner is it wrong sides in or right sides in?

    • @kravegolf
      @kravegolf  2 місяці тому +1

      Right sides in. So, inside-out so to speak.

    • @kravegolf
      @kravegolf  2 місяці тому +1

      The liner is sewn together with the (finished) good sides inside and the bad side are facing out. Then, join to the cover as is. When you put your hand inside the liner to flip the leather over it you will notice your hand is inside the (Finished) liner. Pulling the leather over it does not effect the liners position. This way, It will then still have the good side (where you hand is) inside the cover the correct way around. Just fold and finish from there!

    • @TheMARcelyCEL
      @TheMARcelyCEL 2 місяці тому

      @@kravegolf one more question: are you just lining up the sewn side of the liner to the seam of the leather?
      Using a slightly different pattern for my project. But liking your liner method.
