Having recently gone through this myself I can totally sympathize with all of the stress. You find out who your friends are when you do a project like that!
This is my favorite Aquarium channel because you keep it simple and straightforward. Thanks for everything including talking about Seachem Prime, Stability, and Stress Guard. I hope Flacko Dos is aight 😂😂
Man this video was better than the first one. I like to fell out my chair when dude ripped his pants 😂😂😂. True buds to help you move those heavy tanks.
Wow! I don’t envy you on the move, the only ones who would understand the process and the time that goes into moving tanks that big know. The place looks AWESOME!!!! Good luck with it all and I can’t wait to see future videos from your new fish cave!
Hope you repaid your guys well ( and a new pair of jeans!! Lol ) LOVE the new room my man so VERY jealous Great work keep it up and looking forward to part 3 !!
My guy!!!!! Been a long time coming. Keep up the great work. Let the haters hate.. when one becomes irrelevant they try and attack the relevant ones.... #teamKavemanaquatics
Have to get you a couple of flat dolly's. Wont have to carry the tanks at all. Just take them off the stands and put them on the dolly's. Now obviously you have to go thru this the 1st time around but the next time you'll be more prepared 👌🏾. I've had to move my aquariums and set up new large aquariums the last couple of years so yea I got a little smarter each time. That plus the im cool with the guys at a few of the local fish stores. They always help out. Good job moving, maintaining the fish and bacteria 🙌🏿
That was the original plan but the entry way isn’t flat and had garden stones we had step over constantly. Wheels weren’t going to work. Although they could have helped from old house to truck as that was pretty flat. Glad you enjoyed the video! 😁
What’s up Kev!! First of all congrats with the new FishKave. The place is looking spectacular and your taste to detail is spot on. I can see how much effort and love you’ve put into the FishKave. As a fish tank enthusiast and hobbyist I can spend all day at your Kave. Congrats again brotha!! Looking forward to your weekly videos.👍🏽
What a journey!! A.............lot of work!!!!! My compliments to your good friends for all their help!! 👍💪 Thank God for Good Friends! I Love the NY Giant's pic too! 👍Beautiful Fish Kave!! So excited for you! Can't wait for your part 3! Your friend splitting his Jean 👖 🤣 😂 😆 😊❤❤
Fantastic video. The room looks amazing! Ripped jeans friend is my hero. I'm so excited for you and your family. Congratulations on the new home and this wonderful new adventure!
The new space looks amazing, thank you for all the great content and information you provide. Your passion for this hobby is unmistakable and the amount of work that goes into sharing it with all of us is deeply appreciated. Can't wait for all the future content, thanks again for all your hard work.
I’m always amazed at how the stands able to hold so much water. Even with my little 55 gallon, I’m like that is a ton of water. And you are rolling with 150, 180 gallon tank. Insane!
There are no words to say how beautiful your tanks look I really like your videos and they help me a lot how to keep my African cichlids thanks Kave 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Respect on the move. My greatest fear/challenge is moving a big 150g+ tank. Especially up or down stairs!!! Praise God you didn't have to deal with that. Narrow walkways are killers. However...450g tank...boom!!! Really looking forward to the delivery and set up video. You earned it Kev.
Proud of you my brother. Recently new to the " lifestyle " and because your videos I feel a lot better about properly taking care of our fish. You've definitely helped me out and I just wanna say thank you. Great job on your new set up my brother
Damn Kev that looks fantastic I can't wait for part 3 lol.. one day I wanna have a spot like urs bro. Anyways another great video my man. Coming in from jersey
Bro I swear you never forget the anguish n pain related to fish tank moving. I bought a 120 gallon from NJ, moved it to bronx, moved it to MI and now moving again. My body remembers every single detail. I ask myself why i do it, then I look at my tank and the serenity that comes from looking at them swim around and that feeling of accomplishment makes it all worth it. Congratulations on ur new home. Love the content! Thank you
I just moved my tanks to my new house. 150 ....40 breeder.... And my mini 13.5 salt water. Alone. Wifey helped but had to use an appliance dolly with blankets and boards. I just moved here so no buddies. It was horrible. I felt so much pain a week and a half later from hulking the custom solid wood cabinet from the 150 bruises my hands hurt for a few days and I'm a mechanic. That's says alot. So big ups to you my man for this beautiful fish cave. I'm going to be setting up my 150 for Africans I'm gonna need all the help I can get first time trying cichlids. I've done mostly saltwater. My 40 and 13.5 mini/nano are saltwater. I want to try Africans in the big one. I don't want to do salt on the 150. Thank you Kev for sharing so much of your experiences with the world.
My pleasure bro! I totally feel your pain! 💪Start with this playlist loaded with tons of info on African Cichlids - ua-cam.com/play/PLP5OXTIIDO8MG9hyJ8PjbC33zEbcyy8__.html

Was awesome talking with ya today at the pet store, good luck with the new build man. Working on my fish room build as well.We were the people with the chocolate lab puppy.
Super cool setup for sure! WOW that moving aquariums of those sizes looked like a monstrous chore, but hey the beauty and payoff is all in the end product! Bravo! Very informative to those who might tackle a project like this themselves.
That is one thing about an aquarium, when you set it up you look at it and say NOPE IM NEVER MOVING THAT. Then you have to move it ….. 😂😂😂😂😂 fml. Good thing everyone and the fish got through that without injury! I would have padded the tanks and moved them with a dolly . Also you could have set up a temporary suspension system with some pulleys to lift the tank by yourself and lower it onto the stand . A lot more work but it still can be done by one person with those tank sizes! I wish you and your family well and enjoy your new home bro!
fish kave looking good! fyi for those with big tanks or multiple tanks, maybe check with your lfs or do a search online if you have the cash to spend to have someone else move your tanks. I found out my local lfs in arizona provides an aquarium moving service...save some time and your back if you can lol
Great video bro! Awesome moving techniques & great job moving the fishes safely. I know moving those heavy tanks can be a toll on your body. & lol, tell your buddy next time to wear sweatpants! Although, you right it’s always nice to have your friends help you with your new fishkave spot! 😎🤙🏾🐟🏆🇺🇸
if you ever have to move again, while your at home depot grabbing the truck get some 2x4 to put under the tank so you can get your hands under right away, just had to do it last week with my 180 gallon
Love your set up! I’m just getting back in the fish hobby and I’m in the process of cycling my new 125 gallon. I’ve been watching your videos for information on how to maintain the tank and fish. Thank you for what you do. One day I plan to have a fish cave as well.
Hehe, I feel the struggle... The weight of the tanks is what's keeping me from getting anything bigger.. After seeing this, I'm glad my new tank is acrylic. Like carrying a cardboard box compared to this... 😅 The Fish Kave looks amazing!
Love that you mentioned that you can add a little more of prime and stress guard. Most people I know say that it’s bad for them. Can’t wait for the next video!! (A little slow watching the video, I’m from Australia haha)
Very nice Kevin! I see you like what I like as substrate, Black Diamond blasting sand. I get the coarser stuff in the black bag. The finer sand is too sharp and could cause micro abrasions to the fish or me. The new place looks awesome!!! CONGRATS!
Have you seen the studies that people have done that show that prime absolutely does not detoxify ammonia? I found it pretty interesting, multiple tests were done all showing that it does not “bind” the ammonia. And seachem correspondents have said many inconsistencies in how prime works. But it is a good water conditioner!
Nope, never seen that. But what I do know is that I’ve had multiple fish in uncycled tanks and they did just fine while dosing with prime, including a Stingray in an uncycled, unfiltered, 20 gallon quarantine tank.
I have a 210g tank and I couldn’t even get it to budge on the floor of the van. Wouldn’t slide at all. I was taken away with how heavy it was cuz moving my 125s are a breeze. So I def can understand the struggles moving those beasts!
Congratulations kaveman to you and your family on the new house the new kaveman fish room is looking great can’t wait for the next videos you do looking good 😊
You did a wonderful job kaveman!! I’m so happy it all went well!! I know it’s hard work but so worth it!!!some day I’m going to be a member. Love your mojo
Kev, Brother that fish kave and man cave looks so awesome brother. Appreciate the run down of how you explain the process and the chemicals. I also recently got a bunch of the seachem products. Prime, stability, stress guard, clarity and am guard. I am a believer in this stuff bro. I recently had a sad week my 90 gal tank full of juvenile AF cichlids had a huge ammonia spike and a few died. Than I ended up getting a bacteria fungus that affected their slime coat and completely wiped out every fish that I had in that tank. I was so sad I cried because the blood parrots were so cute and personable. I almost gave up in the hobby and through in the towel. I had to drain the tank and clean everything out really good and set it all back up again now I am fishless cycling it. I am going to turn it into a severum angel tank now. I have my 55 gal up though. I added a couple Bolivian rams they are so pretty little fish. Appreciate all that you do and your one of my favorite channels. Missed the content man keep it up.
Sorry to hear about that loss bro, it always hurts to go through something like that! . But I'm glad you didnt give up! We have to always keep learning in this hobby!
Definitely something I look forward on doing when I get a bigger house to have my own fish room. Looks good man! You have Definitely helped me out when I got I to the cichlid game keep up the good work
Wow Man inspiring.. Thank you .. I keep telling the Fish Hut because I shop there at times to let you put a aquascape for your UA-cam page promotion now I’m telling you too do it .. would be cool…congratulations room looks 👌
Dope video keep them coming my work is slowing down I might get laid off cuz the interest rate is to high no one’s buying solar panels so there’s nothing to install I still have work just praying it picks back up thanks to are government with inflation and high interest I put my 60 gallon reef tank build on hold till I find I out I have work 100% I still got my 45 gallon fresh water tank going just finished cleaning the gravel and doing a 80% water change hope things are good for you
What I like to do when ever I move my tank is put it on a 4whlr and roll it to wherever I need to a lot easier on the legs and arms. love the new fish and the tanks look great as ever.
Awesome video!! Great job during the whole move, you had a plan and stuck to it and everyone made it with no injuries except your legs 🤣That fshkave turned out amazing!!! I only hope to have one half that nice one day
Great reporting. To be honest a woman like myself 5'7 180lb I was able to transport a 125g in and out and up 2 stories with the help of my partner. I feel your pain but honestly the tanks isn't heavy, it's all the gunk, sand, and some of the equipment left inside. No break or cracks, Mission accomplished

Thank you bro! The fish hut and I have a store tour video planned soon, dont worry, it;ll be a great experience! 😊💪
Dope video keep them coming my work is slowing down I might get laid off cuz the interest rate is to high no one’s buying solar panels so there’s nothing to install I still have work just praying it picks back up thanks to are government with inflation and high interest I put my 60 gallon reef tank build on hold till I find I out I have work 100% I still got my 45 gallon fresh water tank going just finished cleaning the gravel and doing a 80% water change hope things are good for you
What I like to do when ever I move my tank is put it on a 4whlr and roll it to wherever I need to a lot easier on the legs and arms. love the new fish and the tanks look great as ever.
yea, unfortunately, anything with wheels was not an option with the path we had to take.
Awesome video!! Great job during the whole move, you had a plan and stuck to it and everyone made it with no injuries except your legs 🤣That fshkave turned out amazing!!! I only hope to have one half that nice one day
Thank you! 😊
Great reporting.
To be honest a woman like myself 5'7 180lb I was able to transport a 125g in and out and up 2 stories with the help of my partner.
I feel your pain but honestly the tanks isn't heavy, it's all the gunk, sand, and some of the equipment left inside.
No break or cracks,
Mission accomplished
You must be a strong woman because I can deadlift over 400lbs and they were heavy for me!
@@KaveManAquatics man you got this, you know no pain no gain..lol it wasn't that bad.
Then again yours are bigger than a 125g😬
