Can you do more of these? I know you don’t want to be repetitive or redundant, but I think most of us could watch these for hours! Love love love this video and the inspiration
Yes!! You could even just put up an info card with the name, growing conditions and brief history. Then put the before and after photos up. You would only really need to do an intro and wrap up talking segment if that makes it less work on your end. I could definitely watch these all day! Even "before" and "still in process, not yet finished" photos!
Yep, totally agree, I would love to see more videos like this! These were all so inspiring and it gives me hope because many of these projects took several seasons. Great job to all of the awesome project owners!
This whole series of seeing everyone’s hard work is so inspiring. Thank you Laura and Aaron for bringing us all together in this way. So appreciate your love of gardening and your followers!
Oh, my goodness~~~😀😀😀 I am screaming. ~ Laura picked out my small garden!!! I am also happy she recognized my maple tree , one of my favorite trees in my garden. Other gardens are splendid. Thank you so much.
I loved seeing your garden. The green house is amazing, and I'm sure it brings you hours of joy. It was fun to see someone's garden in such a far away place, and now to feel connected! Best wishes from Middle Tennessee.💕
I love all of the before and after but Laura’s reaction and enthusiasm over each one is the best! That seems to be just who she is. She has a phenomenal garden but gets excited over what others are doing! 💚
Just when you thought you had DONE something, you see these wonderful before and afters and say to yourself "Man, I've got to step my game up". Well done to all, so beautiful!
Laura’s genuine response to peoples before and after shots is truly a blessing to see! I can only imagine the excitement and honor of those who you featured, getting that response from Laura, the queen of gardening! One of these days I’ll get my act together and make a submission! Lol!!
I absolutely LOVE these style of videos. So many content creators just repost other's work, but this is COMMUNITY. It's beautiful and interactive and it's so COOL seeing the impact you/Garden Answer has had on our lives. So many of these spaces came to fruition after you inspired so many people. So many memories made in creation and in enjoying these spaces after. Laura, I hope you feel the love! And then seeing the other seasoned gardeners sharing their styles too... it's wonderful. Thank you to all the viewers for sharing your spaces with Laura and the rest of us.
I love how willing you are in sharing and supporting all of our FB, IG and UA-cam channels! For those of us that are trying to grow our own businesses on these platforms, it is so helpful having the support! Thank You for all that you are doing!
Laura does such an amazing job of including a variety of the photos submitted and treating everyone with dignity. Not all of us come from the same socioeconomic backgrounds but we all come together to enjoy her channel. I think it’s so lovely to see a wide variety of yard sizes and starting points from which the before pictures come. And I think it would be easy for anyone else to start to compare people’s houses and budgets but she keeps it to what really matters, our love for gardening. Great job, love you Laura!
What inspiration! I especially appreciated the senior garden since that’s where I’m at , I absolutely love gardening but mine is almost too much maintenance and I’m down sizing .
This is PERFECT timing! I'm coming into my second spring in our new house, and I had to leave behind a garden i loved when we moved. Its nice to be reminded that it takes time and that the results are worth it!
Love these videos where we can get inspired by others. Thank you for sharing your viewers' gardens and for your insightful commentary. Love your channel!
Isn't it nice to start your day hearing the words: perfect, gorgeous, beautiful, lush, amazing, WOW, good job, well done, inspirational, Isn't that glorious, lucky etc, etc. I just love Laura's videos.
This is so inspiring!! All the different ideas and how they were landscaped. The one where they put in a a fence on the side yard was an amazing transformation!!
This was fun! Love seeing everyone’s creativity and results from hard work. Once again, lush distractions from the dreariness of mid winter. Great video, Laura and Aaron! 💚💚💚
How extremely fortunate I was to be selected as one of the before and afters highlighted by Laura. I'm sure there were many more entries and it was difficult to choose only a few to show publicly. Kudos to everyone who submitted their gardens...perhaps those who didn't get selected could post their images and information on the GA Groupies Facebook page. Your fellow gardeners, me especially, would love to see your hard work! The best part of gardening is taking inspiration from others and finding ways to transform your own space into something beautiful so thank you to everyone in the GA community for being so supportive and willing to share! I love being part of such a special group!
Laura, I so appreciate how you can see the beauty of a tiny space all the way to a space the size of yours. I would imagine most of us see the huge scale in which you are able to grow and create, yet you are able to be inspired by others with a much smaller space. 🙌❤
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!!!!! It is so wonderful to see the before and after shots of these beautiful gardens. It gives me so much inspiration. I'm in the middle of redoing our garden and it is such hard work. These pictures just gave me the strength to keep going. Thank you so much for that. All I can say is...MORE, MORE, MORE!!!....lol. 💗🤣🌼
Yes! I knew the before and afters would be cool and they did not disappoint! I'm so glad you started this series. If it doesn't continue through spring, I hope it at least starts up again next winter.
I really appreciate that you featured projects of all sizes, not just million dollar homes with huge landscaping budgets. It was inspirational to see landscapes of all sizes. The featured projects showed how with hard work and creativity, you can create a beautiful landscape even on a smaller budget.
New subscriber. I am disability retired and now enjoying gardening around my home. Have to work differently due to some physical issues but I just call it my new normal. My neighbors all comment that I have a green thumb. They also get plant starters from me to plant (or they have me to plant) in their own gardens.
Laura and Aaron this is such an awesome idea for new videos to get us through the gray days of winter! Seeing normal yards transformed is inspirational and gets me excited for spring. And a special thank you to you both for showing up everyday, putting out quality work, and fostering fresh ideas and genuine kindness towards everyday life. In case you didn’t know we have coffee ever morning 😉 and it sets the tone for my day!
I really needed this right now, not gonna lie. I've been a gardener forever, but have come across some really tough times the last few years, even pre pandemic, and my garden and home have suffered for it. Last summer, I got really inspired to redesign my gardens. Decided it was finally time to remove the things I don't love, and plan the space to be my own. My excitement for gardening was finally back, my excitement for several things to be honest. Then I lost an extremely close family member. And all of my excitement, my planning, my inspiration left, and I was lower than I'd been. This winter, the seed catalogues have been coming, and you've showcased some beautiful new varieties, and I've been thinking more and more about trying it. The first space featured, showing that it takes time to become your vision, brought me some comfort. The healing garden brought me to tears. I'm so impressed by everyone's spaces, and creativity, and hard work. And I think I'll make a go of it this spring.
I understand. Similar situation here. I am determined to get back out and try to be more active in my garden. Prayers that we will both have our hands in the dirt this year. Hang in there! Best wishes from Tennessee.💕
Wow!! I am so honoured that Tyson's Garden was shown!! My heart is absolutely bursting with happiness. Thank you!! All of these gardens are absolute masterpieces and everyone should be so proud of all their hard work and love they have put into their spaces! They are all so inspiring!
Another terrific group of ‘before and afters’ shared by viewers and you. I noticed that by adding a structure for a change in height - be it decking or a raised hardscape terrace - offers different perspectives to view planted areas. Thank you Gardeners !!👍
Janell, I would wager you get a Lot more attention to your gardening efforts than you can imagine! Don’t sell yourself short! I was so thrilled one day when someone drove by and told my husband (who happened to be outside) what beautiful landscaping we had! How inspiring to keep at it! I have no doubt your efforts are appreciated by not only passers by but neighbors also. You are the most important person to please with your loving efforts. Keep at it!🌺🌷❤️
The best thing about this video was there were garden sizes and bed sizes that i can relate. Esp the backyard situation in city ❤️ More of tiny backyards please! Thank you!! So so amazing n encouraging!!
Ok!!! This is exactly what I needed to get off my backside and get winter sowing and sketching!! So so inspiring - love seeing the gorgeous transformations and most importantly, Laura’s genuine delight in each transformation along with her quick highlights of the changes! We are so lucky to be connected this way to Laura and all her viewers!
I'm so excited my little bed was featured! Thank you GA and to all who shared their awesome transformations. I'd love to see your before and afters on the Garden Answer Groupies Facebook page so we can see even more!
I started gardening when I found Garden Answer during the pandemic so I hope to send you before and after photos in a few years. I’m continually coercing my husband to let me remove more and more of his precious lawn for more flower beds! Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing other gardens!
Good morning. These admitions as well as previous ones have given me a lot of inspiration. My space is small but every year I set out to have a front yard garden that stops passer byes. Unfortunately every year I miss the mark. With these types of videos I can see what works well and also see that I have to take the time to read plant lables as I always end up with the taller flowers in front blocking the short ones. This year my layering game will be on point! Thanks everyone for taking the time to share your space!
Having built a vegetable garden out of an underused back lawn, I can appreciate all the work that went into these lovely gardens! Can we have a Part Two, please?! Before and after pics are so inspiring. I love your channel and watching the progress in your space!
Exactly what I realized! My old pictures shows an edged beautiful garden. Now 10 years since my husband's death. It is ragged and overgrown. I am too old to do the needed work and fall over easily. But some of the bones are still good. My lilies were gorgeous until the deer repopulated and ate them all. Some battles can't be won.
I loved this segment so much! Please do more of them! Everyone's yards are so inspiring and, like you said Laura, it's so neat to be able to see gardens from all over the world!
When you mentioned that your Mom always told you you should have 4 colors in your garden "red, yellow, blue and green" it made me think of my own garden and how I'm working with red, yellow and purple. Gorgeous after gardens. So many talented gardeners out there.
What great transformations in all of those beautiful gardens! I’m soaking up every detail as I just bought my first home with a completely blank fenced in backyard that I will be growing in! ❤️
I just LOVED this! I think my favorite was Eric and Christopher's! Our daughter and son-in-law gave us one of those Redbuds at their rehearsal dinner and he made a speech about roots and hearts and the rest is history! We love that tree so much. I hope you do this again. I love the inspiration from all of these wonderful spaces, every shape size and zone!
So I was so depressed since it feels like I’m so far away from finishing my yard. It is very big and I’m trying to do as much as I can myself with only a couple things hired out. Watching this and another like it has given me so much hope since you talked about how it takes years to get there. All of these before and afters have given me so much hope. I acknowledge my yard has improved a lot since I started. Thank you so much. From seriously being so depressed to starting to believe in myself again.
This is just what I needed! Upgrading from a townhouse to a large house and equally large yard in a week. I have so many ideas and these gardens are helping me to have focus!
LOOOOOOVE looking at peoples "before and after" on the yards/gardens!! I dont care if it is one of the "tiny" houses, a trailer house or an estate, I like seeing them!
I doubt you truly understand the depth in which you inspire people. Your love of gardening is infectious. Thank you for inviting us into your life and garden. You are the wife, mother, daughter and sister everyone wants. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. God bless you and your family.
I live in a top floor apartment in the city, & don't foresee ever having a garden again, but I still watch your channel religiously because of your contagious enthusiasm! (+ I love my houseplants- my grandson calls my apartment "the jungle" 😂) xo
These submissions were beautiful and so inspiring! I love these videos and look forward to seeing more of them. I can’t wait to get going with my gardens and adding more beauty.
I loved this video, Laura, and I hope you do many more that are similar. Thank you for including some of your viewers’ gardens and giving them a chance to shine. It is just like you to offer praise and encouragement to the “everyday” gardener. You teach us, amaze us with your talents, and then share the limelight with those of us you have inspired. What a beautiful soul you are!
Laura I think this is great to show other peoples gardens, especially their spaces. Any size of space, small or large can be made into a beautiful oasis. Beautiful! Simple beautiful! Oh my heart be still. 🥰🥰🥰
I cannot wait to be in this list in the future. I’ve been watching you off and on for a few years now and now I’m finally confident enough to spend the time and money into my landscape. I’m so excited and it’s all thanks to you! Can’t wait to show you in a few years.
This was a *fantastic* video!! Love, love, LOVE the before and afters a from your viewers. It goes to show the fruit of what you’re doing here and all that we’ve learned from watching Garden Answer. I would love to see more of these! 💚
What a great idea to gather and share "Our Garden Families' " joy of planting. So blessed to have you guiding a wonderful movement of caring for our space and make a brighter spot in this crazy world. Thank you for Your continuing 'Light' Garden Answers! A breath of fresh air each day. 🤗
Omgggg I can't wait to see the front yard gardens! It's our plan for 2023 to really overhaul the shape and expand our front yard garden to make about half of it heavily planted.
Wonderful presentation by Aaron and Ken. The ability to have time to study the gardens while watching Laura's reaction and listening to her commentary made the presentation so satisfying. Great job!
Tyson’s garden is my favorite! I want to do something like this. I have a cement big fountain and I have an old wrought iron gazebo that I have been saving for something special. I am so inspired!
Amazing transformations WOW some were just a wow factor, I especially was touched by the one that's a healing place for those parents to remember their son, how beautiful, Lord bless them, great job to everyone!!!!👍🏻😁
I loved this one too!!! lol I am also so pleased to hear how many ppl got their inspiration from you Laura!! I’ve always loved to garden but since watching GA for 3-4 years now my need for seeds & soil and plants & flowers have filled me with hope, hope for everything. I’m happy to be a part of this community and thank you for your channel everyday!
Very talented viewers out there. I am so glad that you have inspired them to make the world a beautiful and colorful place. You sure have inspired me and taught me so much in my flower beds.
Loved seeing these so much!! Kudos to all those gardeners. Especially love watching with Laura, who sees things I would miss, and has very thoughtful observations.
This was so inspiring Laura! You make it a real community...sharing everyones work....mostly inspired by you! Thank you so much for all you share and teach!
Thank you for all the inspiration! It was such a blessing to see what other viewers are accomplishing. My garden wasn’t ready for this year but maybe next time. I Ecco what everyone else is saying. You are the reason for our success! My garden is coming along. We have only had one season to work on it and I am already starting seeds for this season. Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication. We are all blessed by joining you on the journey.
I just love this series of videos! I hope you will make this a yearly tradition during the winter months! The gardening community is such a lovely, nurturing and inspiring one and I for one am enjoying this tremendously! Maybe next year I can submit some pics lol! My garden is currently getting a facelift. Hope y'all have a great weekend!
Yippie inspiration inspiration inspiration!!! Sunny 😎 hope for spring! Everyone says I've done so much in the past two years of living here, I wish I can send you the visions I have in my mind for this continuing process of my outside design - I love it all so far and am enjoying the process yet sometimes need more Andreas to get these things done - these pictures are totally full of inspiration and beauty! Great job people❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love these videos. I found your channel after a divorce and during the pandemic. It has been so healing for me. I have started with containers and then fouls myself digging out flowerbeds. Can’t wait to get out in the spring. We are waiting for a snow bomb here in Upstate NY so I think it will be a while. Please keep these kind of videos coming. They inspire this new gardener to keep going. Love seeing what the “Average Joe” has done with their ordinary spaces!
I enjoy your reactions! Does Aaron pull together the selections and then video your reaction? Your admiration and praise for these transformations are so genuine! And absolutely deserved for each of these! Great video!
This video was so fun and interesting. Love seeing followers gardens..before and afters. Different zones, levels of botanical maturities, ideas, and creativity is fantastic. Joy! Hope this becomes a norm on your channel. Inspiring. Ty ty.
This was an amazing video of lovely gardens. Y’all have such a positive impact on people. Thank you. Also, loved you popping up in shots of the gardens.🥰
I think that you should come up with a list for next winter now. That way we could take proper photos in landscape mode. One thing I’ve done in the past is a winter, spring, summer and fall picture of a garden from the exact spot.
Wow these are amazing. I can’t believe everyone knows the names of the plants, I see something I like I put it in the garden and would never remember what they are called. Good job everyone!
Can you do more of these? I know you don’t want to be repetitive or redundant, but I think most of us could watch these for hours! Love love love this video and the inspiration
Yep
Agreed! Love this!
I’ll second that.
Well said Adam! I agree. Love how Laura and Aaron created this beautiful community for us. So inspiring for us gardeners.
Oh, my goodness~~~😀😀😀 I am screaming. ~ Laura picked out my small garden!!! I am also happy she recognized my maple tree , one of my favorite trees in my garden. Other gardens are splendid. Thank you so much.
How exciting!! Great job and thanks for sharing with all of us your beautiful garden! So inspiring! That green house is amazing. Happy planting!
I'm glad you commented. I was having a hard time finding your channel. Beautiful garden!
@@misstrcarter I think that's because my channel name is Korean. 😂 Thank you so much.
@@hollyw. So nice of you.😄
I loved seeing your garden. The green house is amazing, and I'm sure it brings you hours of joy. It was fun to see someone's garden in such a far away place, and now to feel connected! Best wishes from Middle Tennessee.💕
Nothing beats a before and after even more so when Laura does it!!! Thanks for this gem! Great before and afters that were featured!!
I love that these before and afters took years not days! Gives room to enjoy each year and not just maintain. To keep dreaming and evolving. Love it!!
I love that too and I think it makes it better and more enjoyable when you take your time and start your collection.
Laura’s genuine response to peoples before and after shots is truly a blessing to see! I can only imagine the excitement and honor of those who you featured, getting that response from Laura, the queen of gardening! One of these days I’ll get my act together and make a submission! Lol!!

So so satisfying, inspiring and motivating! Y'all are so amazing gosh! Thanks for submitting your gardens! And thank you Laura for sharing them!
In the depths of a cold winter, it was so fun to see all this inspiration. I appreciated Laura's joy at seeing all the beautiful gardens!
I started gardening when I found Garden Answer during the pandemic so I hope to send you before and after photos in a few years. I’m continually coercing my husband to let me remove more and more of his precious lawn for more flower beds! Thank you for the inspiration and for sharing other gardens!
My fave: the healing garden as I prepare to create my own in memory of my dad.
This was so motivating. Such creativity!!! I’m now even more excited for the garden season to begin. Thanks for share these wonderful gardens.
All beautiful! But omg! The healing garden! I cried. What a positive way to commemorate, celebrate and heal. God bless you!

Man!!! These gardens are AMMAZING! The first garden I wanted to roll around in the meadow in the back. So, gorgeous. 😍🥰❤️
I loved this segment so much! Please do more of them! Everyone's yards are so inspiring and, like you said Laura, it's so neat to be able to see gardens from all over the world!
That's it?? Hopefully you'll have a part 2 and maybe even a part 3. It nice to look at other peoples gardens. Great way to get ideas for all zones
Maybe having it throughout the year!
Love this! So many beautiful gardens and all so very different. Could there be a Part 2, please?

I love seeing all these beautiful gardens. People are so resourceful and creative. With them being in different zones makes it even more interesting.
Good morning! What a great idea to see other gardens. Such beautiful ideas to ponder.
Wow! So Beautiful! Loved to see all the different zones, as well. Thank you so much for sharing.
Oh Laura, I could watch all day. Before and after are so gratifying. I could hear your excitement as well. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning, Laura☕️ Lots of beautiful gardens! Got some great ideas! Have a Blessed Day 😊🐈
This is my favorite video format now. I love the tours but this shows so many different gardening zones and their challenges. Love it!
Amazing transformations WOW some were just a wow factor, I especially was touched by the one that's a healing place for those parents to remember their son, how beautiful, Lord bless them, great job to everyone!!!!👍🏻😁
I love watching Laura’s reactions, they are so genuine!
WOW! All the gardens for all over world areas. They are all so nice. Thank you!
Very talented viewers out there. I am so glad that you have inspired them to make the world a beautiful and colorful place. You sure have inspired me and taught me so much in my flower beds.
Once again I’m blown away by the creativity of your subscribers! I’m so inspired! Can’t wait to see more to come in the up coming seasons!
How inspiring and gorgeous! Thanks to all who submitted and thanks for sharing G.A.!!!
I am loving this series! I would love to see how folks have created privacy using plantings.
The visual is inspiring, but your comments are the best.
I enjoy your reactions! Does Aaron pull together the selections and then video your reaction? Your admiration and praise for these transformations are so genuine! And absolutely deserved for each of these! Great video!
You help so many bring such lovely, healing and beautiful gardens for so many to enjoy!
This video was so fun and interesting. Love seeing followers gardens..before and afters. Different zones, levels of botanical maturities, ideas, and creativity is fantastic. Joy! Hope this becomes a norm on your channel. Inspiring. Ty ty.
Laura, you should be so proud of yourself for inspiring people (myself included) all over the world!! Love your videos!
I loved this video and I'm impressed by the creativity, vision and the hard work it took to transform these spaces from meh to marvelous. Thank you!
This was an amazing video of lovely gardens. Y’all have such a positive impact on people. Thank you. Also, loved you popping up in shots of the gardens.🥰
A before and after next to your gazebo is what brought me to your channel.
This was such a fun video to watch. My garden is always a growing progress so this was very helpful & inspiring. Thank you.
This is marvelous! It’s not as if GA isn’t already so inspiring but seeing other people’s ideas and creativity is absolutely wonderful! I’m pumped!
Great gardens everyone! Getting Laura's praise is something to be proud of!
