At first I thought he either didn't hear me or just ignored what I said because there was like a 7 second pause. But then he looked up and said "That is such a nice thing to say. What's your name?" I told him my name and he just grabbed me and gave me a big hug. It was a genuine hug too. He just kept saying thank you. All I kept thinking is what the other people in line behind me were thinking. They must have been wondering what I said or who I was to get that response. But yeah...he is very genuine for his respect for fans,

Pearl Jam & The Commitments are two things that make all of us friends who have known each other since the 90s, as we reminisce what brought us together. I did not know Glen's birthday was the 21st, or that he turned 50...my 50th was the very next day, and I raised a pint of Guinness and a couple shots of Bushmills to the occasion...consider it raised to you, as well, Glen, in celebration of your anniversary, and to you both for the musical gifts you have given us!
