That was all just part of the stage persona he was adopting. Same with the weird facial expressions and hyperbolic performances. He knew exactly what he was doing. Don't get me wrong, love the guy, but you have to recognise that much of how he acted back then was just theatre; borderline performance art.
@@davesims7917 I totally fell for it back in the early 90's when I was a teenager but as I got older I realised that it wasn't quite as sincere as I had once though and was more of a performance. You just have to look at how he suddenly stopped doing all that stuff almost overnight. It was the equivalent of Manson wearing make-up. Just theatre.
Here in WV, they canceled high school band for the yr but not contact sports due to pandemic. Arts are so important. My daughter has a 4.2gpa 10 college creds and is 17 and a senior. She was expecting a scholarship for sure for band, etc. Arts in school have been struggling for decades...so disappointing. Prayers for health, unity, and peace.

Amazing conversation... I saw it with a lot of tears in my eyes... I'm a musician in Brazil and me and my friends are very fucked up... Some in deep depression, some going literaly crazy... I'm keeping trying to produce my things, but is getting almost impossible... I just want to share this with you guys around the world. Sorry for bother...
Wishing you strength and hoping you are okay. I know what that’s like and you can get through and endure this. I’m always available to talk and am very familiar with depression. Keep believing in the beauty and power in music and nature.
We at FUSTERCLUCK feel your pain, that is why we set out to create awareness for the millions of unemployed musicians and their families and all the people that work in the live entertainment business. Stay strong as we will get through this!

I love when people are starting to be more and more open, child-like and vulnerable or non-judgmental of our dark side, lots of us can be too guarded, too attached to labels/identities/races, which forces us to self project and support things like BLM, which separate us even more by giving focus to an identity instead of the soul. Our focus matters, going into the essence overcomes all the differences. With regards to Eddie, I find it wise to undestand that presidents can't do everything we want ourselves, but what is necessary "right now" for most people before doing what we want, and that requires seeing the bigger positive picture of which steps need to be taken first, even if they can seem destructive short term, plus to be discerning and get truthful information from alternative sources, not MSM that has ties to agendas by CIA and NSA, or right from the voices of administration itself. Much love.

Such a clunky interview. I don’t know who the interviewer is this is Eddie better they should be such a more exciting interesting interview. I had to quit listening to it because nothing held my attention which is crazy because it’s an interview with Eddie Vedder
I do respect Eddie and his political stance I've been Republican and I've been democratic and on both sides I noticed myself and others many people taking their views and ideas, opinions so seriously they actually let it almost brew into physical contact... Now we are so divided left and right is so far apart I don't play into the racial division and I meant strictly politically apart to the point where each side is just making disagreements just because of side or someone's label even if it would help America or anybody because we all could use a little more love, light, support and encouragement ! I agree with Eddie also on you should never wish your leader or president to fail or something bad happen that's not a loving thing to do and he's driving the ship .. and we can differ from others and we should want that ..years ago I seemed to want to be surrounded by people more like myself but as I've gotten older I realized it's the person that was different than me introduced me to new Ideas and just opened me up ...I'm glad I actually opened up and embraced change new ideas spiritual growth to evolutionary processes within myself and observed the inner and outer spaces of the heart and where thoughts go where is your energy going!? wouldn't want everyone just like me anywhere ugh.. in my house? haha holy shit where would I go if everyone was me I'd get so sick of myself...I enjoy other people's likes and dislikes always slightly bent towards different things, ideas political views .. we really need to at least figure out how to love each other in this country we can't let sides and labels separate us especially these clowns yes they are all immature clownsmen both sides over the past30 years it's going downhill our leaders picking on each other on TV in front of our kids these people are 50,60,70,80 years old .. a child has to be thinking boy if I can't pull it together by 80 what will I do .. these people have mega money and still complain like crazy whine and pick on each other wow it's not a roast this is the new norm.. I hate politically correct in a sense but at least be truthful and grow up in certain places there's a time and a place for a Cleveland steamer and a jelly donut cincinnati bowtie and the pj cocktail!
