You wouldn’t happen to know a source for the tcc valve springs? I’m converter one that was set up with a non lock up converter back to lock up and can’t find the springs.
no, sorry but I don't. You might try reaching at to Chris at ckperformance.com That's where I got the parts for this build. He might be able to guide you to a source at least...
Nope, something is not right as the assembly should be flush with no gap. I would recommend to take it back apart and make sure everything was installed in the correct order and bore is smooth
@@wrenchingwithphil You're not up for going through another 2004r are you? I'm in Rock Hill SC. It has a fresh rebuild "supposedly", but my car has a 3.73 rear end gear, it won't get 4th without a 4th lock-up switch; and just recently lost all lock up (4th) after installing a TCI 2 wire lock up kit with vacuum. I'd like to have all upgraded components and a hard firm shift, even though I only have a mild Oldsmobile 307 engine.
@@robert3mccrorey Sorry Robert but I've been digging into this trans whenever I get free time since February and still have more to go... Then after the trans I'll start building a blown 454 bbc to go with the trans. So, free time is rare for the foreseeable future. Double check your wiring for the kit. Not sure what TCI include in their kit but here's all you need to do: annawiringdiagram.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/200-4r-wiring-diagram-manual-e-books-200r4-lockup-wiring-diagram.jpg In one of the end videos that's exactly what I'll show as how to wire it. (I think I actually created that drawing like 10 years ago although that's not my site I linked to) Feel free to ask if any questions!
Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this series of videos, i will be using them as a guide with i build my 200r4
