I am thrilled to see you back in the kitchen. I know these videos are older now but it’s don’t matter to me. I love you cooking. Wish I was at your table. Why do so many people remove potato skins? They taste almost like nothing. Its a great source of fiber too. Its a texture thing?
Lidia, I couldn’t believe that you cooked so few potatoes, they are my son’s absolute favorite food, and at holiday dinners I peel and cook 8-10 pounds of them, and since he is vegan I/we have to add vegan butter to his, no cream, while the rest of us get to add butter and cream to ours, and, he gets half, the rest of us (4 others) get the other half. Should there be leftovers and if he accidentally eats the loaded mashed potatoes, he doesn’t
mind too much, but with any other food, he does get a little ticked.
What don’t you believe ? She’s making it for a show not a holiday dinner

The Italians always seem to have a bit of French bitterness. It is on display here. I guess I would be a bit bitter if my national cuisine is made up of 90% NOODLES.
