Marantz PM8006 integrated amplifier review Is it high end? how does it sound? I think this is going to stay as my reference amplifier for a while #marantz #pm8006 #amplifier
Hello, I have the same amplifier and the same CD Player but I finally paired the amp with the Focal Vestia N1 (after trying with other similar speakers like the KEF LS50 Meta and the Klipsch RP6000ii). I added the Focal Sub Cub Evo and the entire system has blown me entirely with the outcome sound. I agree with the fact that the PM8006 struggles a bit with the bass tones but the sub made a huge difference. You might be able to try with your Sonos and add a subwoofer to improve it. Thanks!
Thank you for the feedback. Some friends did recommend using subs, its something that i may have to try in the future. Enjoy the system, i like your pairing.
Wow no wonder direct mode was harsh, I have heard the Sonetto III on a couple different amps and the tweeters really play way out ahead of the mids, my Focal Arias on the other hand actually have a dip in those tweeter frequencies, making me think that this amp might be exactly what I need🤔🤔
Thanks for the comment. From what I have seen on paper, yes, the Senotto have a slight exaggeration in the highs. Thats a reason for pairing them up with the Marantz. Which amps did you try them out with by the way?
@@protekbh1821 Arcam SA20 and Cambridge Evo 75, but yes, I think I’am wanting to get the PM8006, just harder to find now that it was replaced with the Model 50🤔
before that i used jvc equipment, yahama ax700 and CA 740, which I still consider great, but marantz pm 8006 is superior to CA, i.e. the quality of components. I bought a marantz pm 8006 used with the manufacturer's warranty and I am very pleased. I was afraid of less power than in CA and yamaha but it's not true because it has a bigger kick than those with more power which is really strange but also great:D Regards and I don't think I will change it until it breaks down :D
Bought the Marantz pm8006 two months ago. Best integrated amplifier I have ever owned. Superb Japanese quality.

Great amplifier. High energy to move a lot of speakers. Sound very equilabrated. Also control of midrange it is a plus
Thank you. Appreciate the feedback.
Un excellent amplificateur
Thank you, merci

Thanks for your input, so you'll be keeping the Marantz for quite a while because it is a very solid amplifier. It really sounds good the PM8006 enjoy
Is the performance better than Musical Fidelity M5Si?
I have this what more do you want great sound and performer why pay any more than you need to spend.
That's exactly what I keep telling my audiophile friends.
como es el match con Monitor audio RX6??
Can you share the method and time taken to burn-in this amplifier?
Just use it, let it run for a few hours a day at moderate volumes
uhhhhh
Malheureusement, cet ampli n est plus à la vente en neuf C est dommage !
It sure is just bought one from Crutchfield
