I still have my 1978 Pioneer 9500II integrated amplifier and matching tuner I bought in Guam. We were stationed on submarine. 80 Watts per channel. Had them refurbished, new caps and led lights. Still have 1978 Technics SL-1950 turntable and JBL L65s, both refurbished.
Live in the Des Moines area and have been going to Skylabs Audio for years; have bought some items, sold some items and serviced some items. This guy is a true master of his craft. Did not know Kevin had UA-cam videos out until stumbled on to them this week. Is the guy who runs "Fix My Dual" in West Des Moines still in business? I drove down there from St. Paul one day about 4 years ago on the promise that he'd rehab my 1974 Dual 1229 while I waited, which he did. Southern MN and northern IA had experienced freezing rain the night before I left so it was definitely a white knuckle drive on the way down.
I was also totally unaware of the UA-cam channel despite being aware of Skylabs for years and visiting a few times. UA-cam recommended it randomly today. Subscribed!
Found a Marantz 1060 at a garage sale about 7 years ago for $13. Then found an original WC-10 wood case with the original box on local craigslist for $80. After about 20 minutes the left channel makes some noise so now I'm using it as a preamplifier for my Quicksilver Horn Mono tube amplifiers. And they are powering a pair of refurbished 1995 Klipsch Forte ii. The 1060 is a fantastic standalone preamp with a great turntable input. The 1060 should be on list. What a great integrated amplifier.
I have owned the Yamaha CA-1000 since the 70’s and love to crank the volume through pairs of OHM Walsh 4’s (70’s)and Klipsch towers (2010’s). Nothing better.
I have a Sony TA-4650 Vfet integrated amp that I bought new in 1975. Since the diodes were properly modded after purchase, it's performed perfectly. Gotta clean the pots periodically...no surprise. The external adaptor loops allow outboard processors without any goofy hookups. The vaunted Vfet preamp always yields a clean sound from my vinyl. They'll have to pry my cold, dead hands off this puppy. 😁
I traded a Pioneer SA-8500 & $$ for a TA-4650. It had superior sonics over the Pioneer IMHO. At that time I was powering a pair of Advents, sourced with a Dual 1249 turntable with a Shure V-15 type II cartridge.
My first integrated amp was a Sony TA-1150 that I bought in 1975 when I was in the Navy, my second was a Kenwood KA-7100 that I bought when my ship was in Japan in 1978, and my third was a Harman Kardon PM-650 that my wife bought me in 1984 and I still have. I loved them all.
I used to go to a place called Stanal Sound in Kearney Nebraska just to look at the high end audio gear. The Owner, Stan Miller knew his stuff. He setup the sound system for the Universal Amphitheater and the 1981 Pink Floyd "The Wall' tour. Going in and looking at all those amazing amps and tuners and trying them out on all the speakers they had in stock with just the push of a button. I think those were better days than the times we live in now.
I started with Sansui intergrated amp in the 70’s . I’ve been using a Marantz 2325 for over 30 years. It probably needs to be recapped ect. Still rocking, it’s a tank pushing two pairs of Klipsch 1 pair K- Horns and 1pair of Belle’s on B channel in back. It will bring the house down. It has never been passed half volume as my room 24x28 is completely pressurized. The big Sansui is on my wish list and has been for quite awhile.
Thanks for putting the E202 on my map. I happened to discover someone in TX is fully refurbishing them and even covers issues for one year. Super happy with it. Thanks again
My two favorite vintage integrated amplifier, pre cd input, The Yamaha CA-2010 and the Post cd/AV input The Denon 900V .both of theses put out over 120 wpc.. so nice…Great video Kevin.. wouldn’t mind picking up a McIntosh someday..it’s a great big rabbit hole😮
Kevin, I saw that KA-7300 on your video, I used to be so amazed at the sound of that back then. Separate L and R power supplies. With no input and volume on max and no hiss from speakers, I had BIC Venturi IV and Stanton turntable and cartridge. But of course what good is it without the music and there was never and never will be a better time for music than those days.
Oh yes. My Kenwood KA-5700 integrated amp paired with my KT-5700 tuner are my prized possessions. The amp has become too noisy for everyday use, but the tuner is still in service. I bought both in 1977. Classic look and sound.
Great list! Over the past 10 years I've had integrated amps from Pioneer (SA8800), Kenwood (KA 8100), Yamaha (CA810) and Sansui (AU 7900). Only the Sansui remains, all were very good but the Sansui was just a tick better sound wise imo. Sadly none of these amps are capable of driving my Acoustic Research AR9's without the risk of frying my tweeters so I'm strictly using the preamp section.
I 100% agree with you. This problem and solution is often overlooked or ignored. All that early late 60,' 70' and 80's solid state stereophonic (power) amps and receivers are tweeter fryers indeed. Crazy high frequencies with distortion on higher volume, by by speakers, and that can backfry your amp also. Believe me i've 'been there' now 9 times; blowing up my tweeters that is. From FB825 Philips speakers, 80's Marantz, B&W's, Monsoon's, Realistic's, Monitor Audio, Totem and Focal's and a pair of fried Magnat's. Note: I've have owned most sought after 'golden' age high segment stereophonic gear. So you are right. Pre amp out only to a later or brand new modern solid state hi-fi norm like 20-20.000 to max 30.000 hz only, and 0,05% or lower distortion type power amp(s). Because if 'you' don't one will fry his or her tweeters garanteed with this type of crazy high frequencies and distortion stereophonic gear. So in a real setup, I only use my current 70's JVC pre amp out!
My Sansui stack is definately the centre point in my room. Someone that has never seen it , stands and stares at it in amazement. From the top down, TU-9900 CA-3000 AU-11000A BA-3000 BA-3000 BA-5000. Not a typo , theres 2 BA-3000,s. You cant beat the look of this equipment !
The Luxman SQ 507 X is my favourite 1970's amp I also got a Sansui au 9500 and au 717. Prefer the sound of the Luxman to the Sansui's but it is very close
Gotta say - I'm a little surprised the Pioneer SA-9800 didn't make the list! Several units on the list feature something unique.. I think the non-switching A/B amplifier technology-- along with all of the phono cartridge fine-tuning--is awesome! I know I've been enjoying my 9800 for several years!
Agree! I love the looks of the fluoroscan meters but a lot of them are starting to dim. Gonna be a lot of people hunting those down here pretty soon. I am in the "leave electronics on, all of the time", which prevents me from owning a fluoroscan unit. Great amp though!
My UnclebSteve gave me his near brand new Sansui AU-717 and TU-717. With a set of Tekton Lore drivers and my new Debut Carbon is just rocking so jard. I had the amp re-capped and it really jumped back to original spec. It wasnt leaky but he drove em hard when he was in the Air Force for a few years. I think he was driving JBL 100s. Ibasked him about the speakers but he said they were lost to time in the early 80s. He kept the Akai reel player. I wanted that but he has such a library he wasnt ready to part with it. But one day when he either leaves us or decides that comes to me.
my first system that i was able to afford Acoustic Research Amp,,Acoustic Research turn table, and A r 4 speakerrs. Upgraded to ar5 speakers (couldn't afford the 3s)..Next step up Mac 6100, jbl l66 horizons speakers..These stretched the pocket book ,but rock on.😊
I have never heard the term completist before, but it describes me perfectly. I have shelves and shelves full of vintage gear. I recently gave my daughter a Marantz, and now she's hooked too!
I am surprised the Luxman L100 is not in the video. Best vintage receiver that I’ve owned. I mostly listen to vinyl…and am often disappointed by vintage phono stages. Not so the Luxman.
Another great video and topic. My first setup was Yamaha CA-410 II then a few years later Yamaha A-500 which I still have today. Matched with the right speaker's great results. A few years ago I bought a Sansui AU/TU-317. I find the AU-317 much better to my liking and will keep it as long as possible.
I've got a Marantz 1040 from 1976. My Dad was pissed that I spent $150 on it while he paid for college. College wasn't worth the cost but the HI-FI was worth every penny. I still use it daily.
In New England in the 70`s there was a man named Harry Leiser who ran Leiser Sound. Leiser Sound sold amps and speakers under the Lafayette brand name. The amps had a great sound but got hot if you stacked anything on top of it and then it blew channels.
Really enjoyed your video. I’m an old guy that been playing with stereo components around since the early 70s. Excellent list. I love McIntosh. It took me until my 60s to acquire some. I’ve got a few vintage pieces that I play every day. I’m a patron of Randy’s and he mentioned your channel. I truly wish I could buy something from your store. I’ve been looking for a pair of ADS L710s.
My Sansui AUD 11 II has given excellent service for fifty years. I have to say, it's ironic that you should be discussing high end HiFi to a background of muzak !
So hard to make a list of only 5 integrated amps. I'm not familiar with any of those models except that mighty Sansui you snuck in on us. What a beauty. But a more practical Sansui would be the AU-555A from the early '70s. I was skeptical when I bought this little old amp not too long ago, already owning many integrateds and receivers, I wondered "Would I be disappointed?" At just 25 watts per side into 8 Ohms, the sound that comes out of this little amp is very, VERY pleasing, and they're so easy to work on should you ever need to. The epitome of less is more. Mine's all original. I just checked its bias and cleaned and re-tensioned the fuse clips (just for fun). I did buy some electrolytics to replace the originals, but I've been straddling the fence since it sounds so good. Another integrated amplifier from the '70s era that I sold (not a good move) was the Onkyo A10. I used to call it Godzilla. Just lift one up an you'll know why. All metal knobs, beautiful Aluminum face plate, dual power transformers, this is a great integrated amp if you need around 85 watts per channel into 8 Ohms. It came to the party a little bit late, but retained the quality that you'd expect. Happy Listening!!
Dag Blamed Right - looks matter a LOT. Gear should look good as well as sound good. One should be proud of it. You are correct, this has been lost with newer gear. Point To Kevin. JR
Sad you didn't include the Rotel RA 1412. I have a museum quality unit that I refuse to part with. Underrated for sure, and it ticks all the boxes...meters, stepped volume control, 50lbs of dual mono power supplies....and it has real drive. I don't think any other integrated I have seen equals it.....although the AU 20000 is nice. But no handles.
You mentioned that many people think the phono section in the Accuphase E202 is the best of the 1970’s, but that you didn’t agree. In your opinion, what integrated amps and/or receivers do have the best phono preamps? Maybe this question is best answered in a video? Thanks.
I'm shocked that the Scott A460 or A 480 wasn't even mentioned. Extremely underrated units and they rival other integrated amps that are 3 or 4 times the price.
Such a great video, Im guilty of this addiction lol ( cant stop buying / rehabbing / enjoying ) this old gear.. Your spot on with the Marantz Tax, I have a 2235 and I just love the look and feel and build quality of it but with that being said I also have stuff like a Realistic that sounds almost or very close to the same yet sells for 1/3 the price. Not sure Marantz did so good making the receivers look like timeless art yet did so poor on the integrated's design.. They may sound great but those sliders remind me of some cheap 80s gear. PS there is definitely something special with the low power units people look past, they usually sound so good esp when your not looking for reference level sound.
I had all those big 70's Japanese Receivers,Amps. They suck sonically! Like you stated: the 1030, Or 2015 sounded great. Low powered Japanese Stuff Sounded heads and tails better than the big ones! Old USA stuff was the Shit! I have an Advent 300. Awesome phono stage! I Also have an Electrovoice E-V1244 preamp/ power amp, with reverberation in the Power Amp section.35 wpc in a compact unit, wood sides,1960's. Very Rare! Everyone that owns one says the same thing! The Solid State Amp That Sounds Like a Tube Amp! Awesome!
Great list and thank you. I am currently looking to pick-up a vintage integrated amp. There are a number of made for the Japanese market that I would love to get my hands on. The Yamaha CA 2010 (made for the American market) I cannot find. The Yamaha CA 2000 (same as the CA 2010, but made for the Japanese market) are readily available at good prices. Can a 100v Japanese model be upgraded to 110v without the need of a step down transformer. Please put integrated tube amps on a future show request list.
I am a fan of one brand only. I wish I knew about the other brands and the quality of their sound over the years. It is harder to find good examples of working integrated amps near by. And I cannot bring new equipment into the house because of - you guessed it - the other half. She just doesn't get it.
What do you think of the SA 9800 phono stage? I know it's well respected, but do you have enough personal experience to comment on that? I don't think you do this on your channel, maybe I'm wrong as I don't have the time to go back past my sub in the last few months, but maybe deep dive into single integrated amps/receivers/speakers that you have extensive history with? (I want you to read this comment entirely in "upspeak".) I love the channel regardless, but just an idea. *Dude, after the SANSUI AU 20000 section, if you ever in north Florida hit me up. You got a place to stay and I'll show you around. I'd love to talk integrated amps and show off my stuff. Good man.
maybe a bit off topic...I'm looking at the late 70s...early 80s pioneer sx 3700...3800 3900 with digital displays...are parts available for the transitionals...are they something to stay away from...or buy?...thanks!
My biggest worry would be the fluoroscan display fading, long term. I am in the "leave the gear powered on, unless lightning camp" so that makes fluoroscan Pioneers and tube gear tough for me. That's just me though!
My Fluroscan collection consists of the ( SX-3400,3500,3700,3800,D5000, D7000) SA-9800. Fortunately none of the display lights are fading out. I often use the dimmer on the units that have them to save from putting to much usage on it. Great sounding, Especially the SA-9800 integrated amplifier
You just really hate Kenwood don't you? Seriously, why no 600 on this list? One of my biggest regrets in life is leaving mine behind when I left Oahu because I had no clue where I was headed or how I going to get there.
when i started in audio , designed sound room and had made audio comparator , a/b amps . receivers , turntables , tape decks two things i didn't like about the Pioneer , in amps the Pioneer , Sony, Kenwood (Trio) all had solid metal faceplate , but in Pioneer their receivers were fashioned from a less rigid design , some flexing . The other point was the Pioneer was loud from the get go , which gave the illusion of more power , but in reality not. I find it odd you don't have more listing for Sony STR 7015/7025/7035/7045/7055/7065 , these were beautiful sounding , awesome sound and tons of integrated ta1130/ta1115. power amps / pre amps etc
Just discovered this site. I am glad to see so many audio heads of my vintage (age 77) out there still buying, selling & collecting vintage gear. Vintage audio has been an off/on hobby since the late 1960's. My specialty was McIntosh tube gear. In the early 70's people were getting rid of their McIntosh tube stuff for the new solid state gear. I would buy it up and wait until a McIntosh Clinic was hosted at one of the many Mac dealers in the Los Angels area (very frequent in those days) and have the gear brought up to spec for free. Then container loads of high-end tube gear would be sent off to Japan for top-dollar resale. The clinics were great advertising for McIntosh as one would often see how poorly other equipment performed under test. As solid state equipment started getting much better the clinics were cancelled for various reasons.
I'm surprised that the NAD 3020 is not on the list. Maybe the build quality is not up too the others on this list, but the low price and sound quality were killing the sales of more expensive gear.
The NAD 3020 as well as the Accuphase E202 (along with the other amps mentioned in the video) share one thing in common, they are as satisfying to listen to as a good tube amp without sounding like a tube amp (along with the hassles like searching for good vintage tubes for your tube amp, ever check the prices of good testing XF2 Mullard EL34's or carbonised nickel anode RCA 12AX7's, there are those who insist that cheap and cheerful China made recent production is "just as good").
@@zukispur5493I started off with Linn Index speakers, replaced them with mk2 Kans, then Shahinian Elf’s, then Naim SBL’s, finally happy with Shahinian Arc’s. I had a Rega P2 then went for a Linn Lp12 - back in the 1990’s.
That Sansui looks freakin amazing! I'll be keeping an eye out. I do agree with your taste here. Low pwr Marantz, Yammy Nat Sound.... I'm now loving a seemingly unobtanium piece, Japan only and seems like not many made/sold.... Pioneer A-004, Class A/AB. A beast and beautiful integrated look-wise and sound-wise..... Oh, Luxman in the house now too.
For cleaning POTs and switched, I would recommend LPS1 which is marketed as a "greaseless lubricant". I used this product for years and found it to revive the most noisy pots and clean the wafer switches quite well. Most of the time one application was good for at least 5+ years or more.
Integrated amps are great for your budget but really separates still are my favorite components. If I had to pick my favorite integrated it would be the Sansui AU-919
New to your channel, nothing like vintage equipment from the 70's as compared to those boring "black boxes" of today's stuff. In my modest vinyl corner I use a Pioneer SA6500 II, an SX 550 a 780. The look and sound good, I'll have to wait for my youngest son to be out of college before treating myself to a vintage Mac.
Last week I visited a local jewelry store to have a watch band adjusted. At the front of the store, they had an immaculate Marantz 2270 along with a pair of Klipsch Fortes that were playing River Man by Nick Drake. I started buying audio in the mid-70's so I remember the originals and I've seen hundreds of pictures of the old Marantz receivers, but I'd kind of forgotten how beautiful they look in real life. I didn't mind waiting for the watch to be finished.
Surely the Marantz 1060 is probably more common and most loved Marantz integrated amplifier of the period. It shares much of the same design, components and circuitry. I struggle with the 1030 recommendation over the 1060....I am bias I have 3
Not much of a difference at all. Both are amazing. Like I said in the video, all the hardcore Marantz collectors I know, swear by the low wattage units. Either one is great.
I still have my original Marantz 1060 amp along with the matching 112 tuner that I purchased new in 1974. All I've ever done is re-lamp the tuner with original incandescent bulbs; both still plugging away in my den system!
I recently was gifted a Sansui 771 receiver (one owner) and it works perfectly, but it's a bit 'grimey' in appearance. What's the best way to clean the faceplate without removing the lettering and should I even bother cleaning the inside? Also, do know of any technician in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that you recommend?

I feel on the Sansui AU-717. Currently have two in my collection with one TU-717. Great sounding amplifier ❤
@@kylealsberry8602 had mine re capped recently (sansui glue) cost me about £600. Well worth it though. Wicked amplifier
my first system that i was able to afford Acoustic Research Amp,,Acoustic Research turn table, and A r 4 speakerrs.
I agree. I own a Luxman L114, it's the best all around receiver I've ever owned.
Me too!!! Like an AA meeting. Wonder if there is an equivalent for stereo nerds in my area. I need it 😁
Kenwood Model 600 IMHO is the best integrated amp from 70s:)
i used a phase linear preamp paired with a phase linear amp..i liked it
Yeah, I have always liked integrated. I have a (not-yet vintage) NAD. Love it!
My high school's music department had a Sansui IA similar to the one at 21:37. That was a nice piece.
I must say you are a first class guy you have definitely had some good mentoring in your salesmanship sir very steady presentation very enjoyable
Thank you so much! Really appreciate that!
Just got my first Sansui, an AU-717. I got it after missing out on a 20,000 at a local shop. I get what the hype is all about now.
Wicked amp. Elegant beast
In New England in the 70`s there was a man named Harry Leiser who ran Leiser Sound. Leiser Sound sold amps and speakers under the Lafayette brand name. The amps had a great sound but got hot if you stacked anything on top of it and then it blew channels.
I personally love my classic Yamaha AX900U integrated, so much so I don't have any plan to ever replace it as my main amp.
Thanks! I love ADS speakers, very rare around here.
Yes, they are a tough find in decent condition. I thought I saw L780s in one of your stills. Best of luck for your store.
I bought a Scott Amp and a Gerard turntable in the 70s. The upgrade I thought about was a Luxman or a Nad Amp.
Kenwood made a couple of integrated amps that are very rare an decent built the model # 1100 series is very nice..
If I still lived in Iowa .... I would be in your store every week
Yup you got that right the san sunsui is bad ass looking. And the sound is my favorit
My Sansui AUD 11 II has given excellent service for fifty years. I have to say, it's ironic that you should be discussing high end HiFi to a background of muzak !
Copyright restrictions :(
I owned an Accuphase E202 for 11 years. I sold it in 1988 for $150.00. I guess I should have held on to it.
Cool list, thank you.
JR
good work...thank you for sharing your opinion based on exsperience!! great effort!!
Thanks.
Marantz Model 1070 I have on my X99 PC set up with Philips 22AH487 Speakers
...and what about pre-transistor era of 60's and Sansui AU-70/TU-70 valve masterpiece...? cheers.
I'm shocked that the Scott A460 or A 480 wasn't even mentioned. Extremely underrated units and they rival other integrated amps that are 3 or 4 times the price.
Nice one man, having me gushing on the sansui... big time!
She's a beaut' Clark!
Agree 💯
Thoughts on RCA Dimensia MSA 200 integrated Amplifier from 1985? Got it for free .Its dead should I fix it?
What's your opinion on Phase Linear Amplifier's from the 1970s ?
The sansui definitely
I always preferred Sansui to Marantz. Shame that they died.
If I had a real choice, I would go for Luxman or Accuphase.
Dude, I kinda want a Sanusi now.
Thanks, will do!
And then a three part series on how to maintain a vintage tube amp.
“Sneaking in “, so it’s just not me. LOL
Have you ever reviewed any Dynaco equipment?, Stereo 400, PAT-5 Stereo 70's or others?
My Marantz SR7500 (7.1 integrated) doesn't sound as good as my Emotiva BasX a400 (but it does look better).
I am a fan of one brand only. I wish I knew about the other brands and the quality of their sound over the years. It is harder to find good examples of working integrated amps near by. And I cannot bring new equipment into the house because of - you guessed it - the other half. She just doesn't get it.
Is it possible to modify a MA6100 or any amp with combo power/volume knob to separate those two functions into, say, a toggle switch plus the knob?
Hi guys! Would you share what you think about the Marantz 1122dc? Greetings from Perú.🙌🙌🙌
Good man.
Kevin what do you think paring a sansui 221 receiver with advent apeakers?
What about the Pioneer SA-9500?
Thanks for the info.
maybe a bit off topic...I'm looking at the late 70s...early 80s pioneer sx 3700...3800 3900 with digital displays...are parts available for the transitionals...are they something to stay away from...or buy?...thanks!
One of my biggest regrets in life is leaving mine behind when I left Oahu because I had no clue where I was headed or how I going to get there.
when i started in audio , designed sound room and had made audio comparator , a/b amps . receivers , turntables , tape decks
two things i didn't like about the Pioneer , in amps the Pioneer , Sony, Kenwood (Trio) all had solid metal faceplate , but in Pioneer their receivers were fashioned from a less rigid design , some flexing .
Are there any Kenwoods worth owning?
I'd put my sansui AU 717 up against any integrated amp 100 watts and under. ANY.
Don’t A/B it with a Kenwood KA-9100, you might change your mind. Lol
@@mikepersia5362 you're talking nonsense. Sui would slap that amp up all night long mate
Rotel ra1412
Pulled one out of the scrap yard got it going it sucked.
Cheap audio man sent me!
Sony1120 and Sony1150.
You're right, great amps for sure
Thanks so much for the shout out, my man! Such a pleasure talking to you the other day.
Have considered looking at Tandberg hifi from 1960's-1970's they made some great gear, made in Norway
It's not just you old guys and us getting old guys, COVID made the vintage amp world explode for some reason.
Caught the bug years ago, love my stash of vintage!!!
I'm surprised that the NAD 3020 is not on the list. Maybe the build quality is not up too the others on this list, but the low price and sound quality were killing the sales of more expensive gear.
You're right, great amps.
That WAS a giant killer, wasn’t it!
The 3020 is a fantastic amplifier. Had one once. Served me very well in a studio flat. NAD 3020. Linn index speakers. Rega p3 turntable.
I love my Pioneer SA-9100 and the TX-9100. I bought mine new in the 70s and still use it to this day.
My friend bought the 9100 with large Advents in1973.At the time,it was the best I had ever heard.Great memories.
Love my AU 555a and AU 888 .I paid $1.00 for the 555a and $10.00 for the 888. I had the 888 recapped ..it is stunning !!!. :)
For cleaning POTs and switched, I would recommend LPS1 which is marketed as a "greaseless lubricant". I used this product for years and found it to revive the most noisy pots and clean the wafer switches quite well. Most of the time one application was good for at least 5+ years or more.
crc 3-36 is great for pots too
Integrated amps are great for your budget but really separates still are my favorite components.
If I had to pick my favorite integrated it would be the Sansui AU-919
The 717 IS BETTER
New to your channel, nothing like vintage equipment from the 70's as compared to those boring "black boxes" of today's stuff. In my modest vinyl corner I use a Pioneer SA6500 II, an SX 550 a 780. The look and sound good, I'll have to wait for my youngest son to be out of college before treating myself to a vintage Mac.
I'd love to hear what you think of the Harmon Kardon HK505 integrated amp (ultra high slew rate direct DC coupled amp)... My personal favorite!
So many integrated amps and we all have our favorites. I especially like your insights as to servicing them. Great channel!
I bought a pair of Forte IIs in 1990
Still have them
Great speakers !!!
Proud owner of daily use Marantz 2230…
I had a 2270 in 1976-78.
:: a certain 88 sansui amp is my grail
I love my Dynaco SCA-80Q!
also Dual 1216, AR7s, Pioneer CTF-1250, Realistic TR3000, PRO4AAs...
