- Video from the 3rd Clay Spencer tire hammer workshop at the Chapappeela Crafts School in Robert, Louisiana. We built 26 power hammers in just under 3 days. These hammers have 70lb rams, 1.5hp motors and 515lb anvils. All parts were supplied by Curtis Herrmann from Agra, Oklahoma. I've gone twice now, and would very much like to do it again. I've now been down to Chappapeela Crafts School 3 times in total. Great place, great people!
Super exited to go to this... wish they had a class like this for bandsaw mills too!
Was a fun time at the November 2021 class, I learned quite a bit from being there.
