    Great shot, I like the casual but informative style of presentation too.

    I've been using Darktable for a number of years now, but in this one video alone you've used 3 modules/techniques I've never used before. I still have so much to learn. Thank you for this and keep up the good work!

    You make these edits in such an effortless way. Your channel is such a great advertisement for using DT (as I have recently done from Exposure and PhotoLab). When the penny drops after learning new software and processes it's a wonderful feeling. Thank you.

    Very dramatic. You have blown out a highlight in the centre though. Can you bring that back and still retain the drama?

    @Eigil_Skovgaard Місяць тому

    All right, but you blew out the subtle details in the highlight to the left of the dark cloud. In stead I would kill the small "rocket" raising over the highest peak - despite it probably is natural.
    The shut is fantastic.

      I'm fine with a little blow-out in this kind of area. I'm fairly sure my eye wouldn't have captured perfect detail in that area either 🙂

      @@DarktableLandscapes No, but this is another medium with lots of options to enjoy such details - far from reality - fortunately.
      An iconic photographer said: It's not about showing reality but to make people think they are looking at it.

    Excellent video. I don't know Darktable much yet, I used RawTherapee a little. Could you edit some portrait or family photo? ;)

      As the channel name suggests I'm very much a landscape photographer I'm afraid 🙂

      There are other darktable UA-cam channels that cover portraits. Search for “darktable portrait”
