I think they are all the same with different names: laser, micro current, radio frequency and high frequency. if you watch this and then listen to generous aestheticians on UA-cam, the teacher of this video and the aestheticians recommendation are the same. Remember beauty is a multi billion dollars industry so changing the names of basically same effect machines would make sense. For example every time I read the instructions of microcurrent/radio frequency/laser devices they usually use the same vocabulary.
I wish my school in NY, USA would start utilizing modern technology like this school. Love the black lab coats they look neat and cleaner than impractical white.

THanks ofr the video, question - is galvanic current different from microcurrent? I got the idea that galvanic only stimulates skin while microcurrent stimulates muscles? I am asking because I want to use both and I dont know if i wouldnt overdo it and woupldnt overwork my facial muscles and potentially cause some damage such as facial loss? iF galvanic machine is recommended for 2 times per week and I would also use microcurrent for 3 times per week wouldnt that be too much? (microcurrent of 400 microamperes)?

Dear Fiona, I am a little confused as the list says that Anaphoresis leaves the skin alkaline and in your lecture when going down the list, you say that it leaves the skin slightly acidic. I know that Cataphoresis, the second step in iontophoresis, leaves the skin acidic so would you please be very kind and clarify this? Otherwise, very very good lecture. Clear, well explained and interesting. Thanks

A very interesting question that I have about a contraindication is: If a person has a heavy medal build up in the body to the point where they're now limited in life due to electro-sensitivity bc of the heavy medal overload, is micro current or galvanic current not recommended? This is a rapidly increasing issue on the planet. I am now one of those people.

Be aware when using galvanic currents that the max intensity that you can use is calculated as : 0,1mA /cm²

Can I use galvanic machine on upper lid of my eye for removing dark circles? And will it be fine if I use any cleanser,creams etc on face instead of pre-treatment and treatment gels? Plz reply... :)
It’s best to not use the galvanic or any electrotherapy around the eyes. Reason being, when the galvanic probe gets close to the eyes, it can cause the client to see flashing lights, which can affect the vision if done for too long or too frequent. As for using any other creams or cleansers on the skin other than a ultrasound gel or pre-treatment gel, again I would advise against it because you will want to avoid using something too alkaline or too acidic depending on your treatment. Not to mention you’ll need the product to be a gel as to not cause any burning on the skin or extra electrical charge. The electricity from the galvanic can burn the skin, and it can be very painful and cause more harm than good.
