As a native Floridian who has watched a lot of hurricane weather presentations over my sixty years, I have to say that Pat Cavlin's presentation is among the very best I have ever heard. He is very informative and explains concepts well without being too technical. His interaction with the technology and graphics is outstanding. Pat, I live in Tallahassee, FL, which is a much smaller media market than Houston, TX, but will you consider moving here to do the weather?

I live in West Palm Beach and I have to say this broadcast and meteorologist is the absolute best I have seen! I learned more from this than any local stations here on the east coast of Florida. Wow. He really is amazing, the best proper, educated meteorologist I’ve ever seen. This is the Best hurricane coverage. So educational and informative and not sensationalized like other channels. All the other news channel meteorologists and producers need to watch this segment to educate themselves on how to cover weather. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the situation now. Color me impressed here in Dallas. I’m going to follow Pat Cavlin’s reports from now on.

I was looking at another satellite is taking more shape. I’ve a feeling it will land somewhere else I don’t know why I’ve the feeling that it will land west Florida to Miami. Let’s see what happens. That slowdown is not good news . Storm surge into the coast for that long.
