Smoky Mountains backpacking Appalachian Trail to Charlie's Bunion

  • This was a short but fun overnight winter backpacking trip in the Smoky mountains. The trail was covered in snow and ice which made for some slow miles. Charlie's bunion was a 1 mile or so out and back hike from the Icewater spring shelter where we stayed the first night.
    My good friend Paul from adventure yet on UA-cam was nice enough to join me on this excursion. if you haven't yet, you should check out his page. he has some excellent content and quality videos.

    Awesome adventure in the Smokies. I always love hiking that area. Never done it in that much snow. Freaking beautiful scenery!! That cage is to catch hogs. Cool video 👍👍

      Thanks Jason! Yeah, it was one fun trip. Very short, but fun. Thanks for the info on the cage. It looked a little small for a bear. Ha!
