Backpacking The Grand Canyon

Hello! this was our 3 day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon starting May 6th 2024. We started on the South Kaibab trail down to Bright Angel campsite. We spent one day there hiking around the Colorado River, and Phantom Ranch, and hiked out in day 3 via the Bright Angel Trail.

Great job! That's a tough haul with those big packs, but you chose the correct time of year! I was there a couple weeks after you, to run that route. Love being in the Canyon! Thanks for taking us along!

Absolutely! Yeah, it was probably the toughest trio I have done to date. Whew! I couldn't imagine doing it when it was warmer!
