MCU Phase 4 is like taking random side quests after completing the main story

Loki was shit and ruined the whole universe. Dr. Strange 2 also raises lots of questions. Eternals was also trash. Its not just Disney or Marvel it is the entire world. Most companies push this bs. Riri Williams is an unpopular character that nobody gives a shit about in the comics, nobody buys her copies. Same with Miles Morales, he is not spider man, he is unpopular, doesnt sell, and has been rebooted many times with no success for a decade. Peter Parker still sell way more copies than him. You need to watch some nerdrotic or Eric July/Youngrippa so you understand the poor sate of comics, hollywood, entertainment and culture war as a whole.

I think they are trying to introduce too many new characters in too short of a time, while changing some of them too much, in order to have the characters they want for Secret Wars. They're not worrying, at all, about the stories for the most part. They even turned the Deviants, in the Eternals movie, into mere Mutates. Now, if they somehow included the looming presence of The Beyonder, like they did with Thanos, it could help tie things together. The Multiverse seems to be something just thrown in at random, too. I did like what they did with it in some cases, but it seems like they are trying accelerate right into Battleworld after Secret Wars. They just started introducing mutants, and still don't have the Fantastic Four to pull that off, though.
No it's not that.Marvel tried to chase audiences like this and try to please everyone when that don't work.just look at all these channels.marvel pushed the fans that brought them here for tik tok and reaction videos.Just look at internet fandom right now.all of this stuff was built off marvel.just look at rumors speculation channels none this was relevant 7yrs ago.now everybody's in fandom.gotg was the movie that brought this type of fandom or the normies.and marvel started caving towards this type of fandom and throughout the fans that got them here.Now marvel is dealing with people that jump on the bandwagon And now you have this culture war of anti woke woke by those same fans that jumped on the bandwagon a couple of years ago say im done with marvel.like i said they put the people that grew up with these characters onto the side to chase fans that never opened a comic and just go by the movie.But i seen this brewing.

The problem with phase 4 is the overarching story is done Endgame was the "Endgame". Now the only exception to His whole phase 4 mess is Spider Man Far From Home and No Way Home. And the only reason I say that firstly because they actually crafted a very well done movie with No Way Home and Far From Home for that matter. But also story wise the fact that Peter's story needed to move on without Tony Stark. Now do I wish there could have been some sort of way for that story to have been weaved in before Endgame; Yes but it still worked being after Endgame. So for me the MCU started with 2008s Iron man and ended with Spider Man No Way Home everything else is a load of s**t and it's not worth watching.

Eternals was a weird one. It was way too long, and felt muddled and confused, but there was a decent plot at the heart of it. If they'd stayed away from the "Free pass to pat themselves on the back" of their identity politics, the movie could've been an instant classic.

Marvel Phase 4 definitely sucked and it was basically garbage. They brought Woke into the movies, they also hired and fired a lot of the actors then hired them back or fired them again like DC did. She Hulk was garbage. I am no longer an emotionally invested fan in Marvel or DC.
Phase 5 will be worse. I just know it.

During my lifetime there was a rating system that was the GOLD standard of movies. G PG PG-13 R and X. No one but no one went to a movie unless they checked the rating first. I think that system has had it's time. There needs to be a NEW system. A new way for audiences to navigate the confusing movie watching rat maze. We definitely need more warnings on movies now than ever before. Drinker for president!!!
You're wrong tbh. Hate isn't the final stage. It's apathy. When you can get to the point where you just don't care, and that is very hard to change. An example would be, Oh Black Panther is out, and I don't care. New Ant-man coming up, I will never watch it. It's what's ruined a lot of franchises for lots of people like Star trek, Star Wars, Dr Who etc. Marvel is fast becoming the next one, if it's not already there.

On the situation of "Hollywood stop shoving woke into everything", here's the problem. The movies in the works started years ago and money has already been spent on it, so there in a situation where if they stop production they lose money, or if they continue to the box office they may make that money back but it wont be a blockbuster. From a business perspective the choice is simple, the bottom line is make money and at the very least break even.
They always had the woke agenda in mind and feige wants more than half char female tbh it's gonna turn into another princess brand at this point lol

MARVEL need to change their streaming platform. From Disney to Amazon Prime or atleast Netlfix. Imagine if THE BOYS was streaming on Disney.
Except WANDA and BLACK WIDOW, all other female characters were simply forced with no depth. WANDA and BLACK WIDOW were not introduced via their solo movies but they were norished well over few movies, gave them depth and dynamic. I was so sad that Black Widow movie was introduced at wrong time. Just before Infinity War would be perfect.

Majority of Disney’s money is from theme parks and merch and that has been tanking. The movies do not make up for that loss.
I agree the Movies could have been better but that comes down to the script writers. I enjoyed them all though. No Movie Studio should ever listen to American Opinions on their Movies, they talk crap. It's what the rest of the World thinks that matters.
Shang-Chi and Eternals were fine in my opinion and Shang-Chi was actually great tbh.
Overated imo, everyone was saying this movie was the greatest Marvel film since endgame and I saw it with high expectations and was hugely disappointed.
Biggest reasons for me were the quantity of the projects,in this 2 years we got so many movies and Tv series which lets be honest most of them sucked and also big part for me was the forced diversity which no one asked for, hopefully phase 5 and 6 will be better although it will be hard for marvel to get out of that mess they created

I mostly agree with the Drinker but I slightly disagree with him about nuance. Politics and “wokeness” are not inherently bad things to put in movies but they are SO BADLY WRITTEN that the audience get beat up over the head with them and that’s not entertaining. That’s quite important in the ENTERTAINMENT industry!

Well, they are building up Kang as the new Big Bad Evil Guy, he already was hinted at in Loki, will appear in Quantumania and might have been hinted at in Multiverse of Madness with the appearance of Reed Richards.
