I'm a big fan of this plugin. I really like the dual rectifier on this and that it has all 3 channels (if you have the full version), I know the full suite can be quite expensive, but I managed to get it on sale during the holidays and it's got some really wicked features
@@resington thanks for the answer! I was thinking the abasi archetype from nerual, i was waiting for some black Friday discounts, or this, but the full licence is too expensive.. any opinion on neural? Abasi archetype?
In Cakewalk by Bandlab a slim version of the TH3 is included. I never really bothered, because I thought this is something like Cubase's useless vst amp rack. It's funny that most of the stuff you used here is inside this version. Soulhenge (youtuber) created Killersounds, also, with the Brunetti (not included in the Cakewalk bundle). Somehow, looking at all the recent stuff, it seems to be totally possible to professionally produce nice guitar tracks without spending a dime on software. In terms of how it sounds in the mix almost everything out there reached a level where you might not be able to distinguish it from the real thing. I only noticed that there are certain ampsims I don't like for jamming around in realtime. The Emissary, Crunck V2 and also TH3 sound lifeless (just my opinion). Others like the Vadim Taranov and Nalex stuff are much more realistic sounding in direct interaction. But in the mix they don't necessarily sound better.
@@resington Thank you for replying, and great demo, by the way! No, I don't have the TH3, and as of right now I only use the Fortin Nameless for guitar, but I've been looking into other amp sims and haven't yet found what I'm looking for in other Neural DSP products, or other companies for that matter. I saw the name "TH-U" pop up everywhere, but I don't want the whole overloud package. That's when I saw the metal collection in the description of this video and thought it was a slimmed down version of the new TH-U amps for metal, but on the top of that page there is a video from 2016 that showcases the TH3 stuff, so I'm a bit confused about that. I don't want to go back in time with amp sim technology, since it's only pretty recently I've been happy with how they sound.
@@iseeu-fp9po dude I would say, stick with TH3 if u have it.. otherwise get THU metal pack coz it does it all metalwise. It is my pick for best premium package. Honestly though what reviews of everything and go with your gut!
@@iseeu-fp9po TH-U Metal just contains a smaller collection of amps, cabs, effects and pedals from the TH-U "full version" that are more geared towards a metal sound. The actual technology used to drive the sound is virtually unchanged between TH-3 and TH-U (both between the full and metal packs), which is a good thing since the sound is killer.
quesiton, I intalled it using my focusrite for audio interface but if I go thru computer to computer speakers it has much lag, but sounds awesome, if I go to monitors using AISO it works no lag but sounds thin etc. How are you using it?
I used it through my interface out to monitors, standard setup, ASIO drivers. No lag. Sounded great. Maybe there's a phase problem. Mono/ stereo? It's been a while since using this sorry. Thanks for watchin!

Cheers obrigado dude! you're too kind. You tried this one yourself?
@@resington not yet... but I will.
Brutal!! All instruments!!
Great channell, original stuff!
Amazing!
Thanks!
So if i buy this i cand get thu, but only a subsection of metal amps? right? instead of the full suite, 80 $ suits best to my pockets!
Yeah dude! Take the trial first see if you like that then get a license.

@@lucagreggio2278 never tried the abasi plugin. I hear its great. If you want his sound get it. If you want sounds and variety go with THU metal.
@@resington again thank you! I am undecided I will try this metal, i now tried the abasi, I will comment my decision!

edit: that solo is so sexyyyyyy

What kind of pickups do you use?
This is an entwistle hdn in the bridge.
Is the TH-U Metal a collection of their previous TH3 technology? I thought it was a selection of the new TH-U amps.
I'm not sure. All I can say is it sounds as close to real as you're gonna get. If you already have TH3 I wouldn't bother updating.

Which plugins from the metal pack did you use??
I show everything in the video dude.
Hi great mixing! = ) So what drum plugin are you using? Is it any mastring plugin also? Thanks = )
Thanks! Perfect drums by naughty seal. Got a mastering video on my channel dude!
This is so Mey'ell.
The mix is awesome what drummers are you using and how are you mixing these?
Perfect Drums by naughty seal. A little EQ post. Nothing else really. That plugin has a lot inside it so its easy to get a drum mix quick.
