Hi Tim! sorry to ask, their soup base for Kani shabu & etc will not have any pork right? Unlike ramen…🙏

How long do you usually spend in a restaurant, when there's no time limit?

Without filming, probably a little over an hour..a lot more with filming 😉

You got your videos out of sequence again, but it’s not any bad thing. It is a change to have chestnut crabs, king crabs and snow crabs all together in this Hokkaido Buffet. The scallops on a half shell are great too. No prime rib though so Japanese Buffets are not the same as Western Buffets. Also 70 minutes for the buffet is too short, but it is what it is.

Yeah... The videos are a bit out of sequence... This was certainly an interesting experience. Very good food, just was never this tight with time before 😉

It is hard to be under a time constraint, you like to enjoy your meal, not wolf it down in a rush. I know you can't sit forever and pig out but 70 minutes is way too short a time.

Oh tell me about it! 😉. It was still a fun experience though a bit of a rushed one 😉

How did you make a reservation for 1? I tried to do a reservation but it says it is a minimum of 2 persons :(

I hope you get a chance to visit and would highly recommend, just watch out for the time limit. I had a big struggle making reservations and I talked the hotel personnel to make the reservations for me as it was in Japanese most of the time

I see 70 minute time limit really create a traffic jam at the stations 😅

Came here last night 1/9/2024 because this video randomly showed up on my feed. Dinner was 6600 yen. 70 minutes was super rushed since you have to line up at each station and also grill your food. The quality is 5/10. Save your money and splurge on quality not quantity.
This place is definitely a tourist trap. Lots of Chinese and Korean tourists arriving by tour bus.

Did you get hit by the barrage of tourists as well? They came in at the end of my seating for the next seating. I cannot imagine how when would navigate through the crowd
