March 2023 I visited the newly opened restaurant, Kani Matsuri, in Tsukiji.
It is a restaurant with an all-you-can-eat crab menu operated by a crab wholesaler.
There are many kinds of crabs, such as king crab, hairy crab, snow crab, red snow crab, etc. You can have a crab festival.
Everything is of high quality as it is directly managed by a crab wholesaler.
Crab lovers will love this restaurant.
In the all-you-can-eat crab, you will be served snow crab first, and red snow crab will be served from the second refill.
The crab is served freshly boiled, so it is hot and very tasty.
The set menus come with rice topped with unrolled crab meat and salmon roe, and crab soup.
The restaurant is open from 9:00 a.m., so it is nice to be able to have all-you-can-eat crab for breakfast.
The time limit for all-you-can-eat crab is one hour. Last order is one hour and after that, you can eat crab at your own pace.
The price for all-you-can-eat crab is 5,000 yen/$38 USD
(This time, I went one companion, so two snow crabs are shown.)
Other menu items include Kaisen-don (fresh seafood rice bowl), oysters, crab sashimi and tempura.
You can eat crab and all kinds of seafood.

Thank you Aya for recommending this restaurant, Kani Matsuri, in Tsukiji. We went there today 10/4/2024 @ 1600hrs. The staff there were great and helpful. We had 2 rounds of the buffet set each. You are right, the seafood there were fresh and we really enjoyed the meal. Thanks Aya.....we are glad that we have followed your recommendations

OMG Everything looked so fresh & delicious. Raw fish is my #1 most loved food. Luckily I live in Las Vegas with absolutely insane Sushi restaurants from very high end, all you can, Conveyor belt . But my Dream is to eat Sushi in Japan.

When the restaurant first opened, you had an all-you-can-eat menu that included king crab. (It was the best all-you-can-eat menu.) The king crab has a refreshing taste and is delicious grilled.

Thanks for the comment. Red snow crab and red king crab are two very different types of crab. In terms of size, red king crab is much larger. You can see both red snow crab and red king crab in this video.

Uni don! Uni is also delicious. BENTOMI-SUSHI in Toyosu Market looks good, but I've never been there.

Currently, there are two all-you-can-eat crab courses.
6,000 yen and 15,000 yen per person. The time limit is one hour.
The 6,000 yen course has 4 dishes. (One snow crab and all-you-can-eat spiny snow crab legs are included.) In addition, you can refill rice and crab soup.
The 15,000 yen course includes 7 dishes.
All-you-can-eat king crab, snow crab, spiny snow crab, tempura, crab sushi, rice, and crab soup can all be refilled.
I am sure the restaurant staff will be friendly and helpful.

We were filming so we didn't get to eat much. Otherwise, we would have had three red snow crabs!

The explanation of the crabs by the staff takes about 5 minutes. The snow crab is prepared first, and the only refill is the red snow crab legs. If you are used to eating them, you will be able to eat a lot.

Thank you for your comment. When we visited this restaurant in mid-April, they were not offering all-you-can-eat king crab. I do not know the current situation, but I have seen online reviews that they are offering all-you-can-eat snow crab.

Thanks for your comment. I think I prefer snow crab. The crab meat is tender, sweet and rich in flavour. Also because the crab innards are delicious.

You ruin the crab with crappy Asian Sauce.
In Japan, crabs are boiled in salted water, so the crab meat and crab innards are lightly salted. It is delicious eaten as it is, or the traditional way of eating it with vinegar sauce is also good.
