    How to order regulator of HAtsan AT-44-10 made in turkey

  • @johnehogan
    @johnehogan 4 роки тому

    I have ordered a new Hatsan AT44 QES PCP Air Rifle and from what I have seen thus far it uses a different fill nipple than my hand pump has. My hand pump has a forstner type female quick plug. What type of adaptor would I need to get in order that I may continue to use my existing hand pump...

  • @XRinger
    @XRinger 8 років тому +1

    I was thinking about a regulator for my .22cal AT44-QE, but most of my shooting is done at under 30 yards. I also like the stock power setting of 30 fpe. (With 18.21gr HP Barracuda pellets).
    Since my Zero is 30 yards, It's easy to use a little hold-over for 15 yards or 40 yards and still connect with small targets. These ranges don't really require a super consistent velocity.. The POI at 30 yards, hardly varies at all with small drops in pressure.. (Or even with full 3000 PSI fills).
    However, I'm not using this heavy rifle for walking around out in the woods, I stay near my pumps.. When I see the pressure is under 1,600 PSI, I pump it back up near 3000. I hardly ever change the mag.. When I see holes rotate around, I push in some more hollow-points..

Thanks for getting back tho. It looked like there was silicone lube on the threads. Any idea why it was so stuck? Even with the bench vise I almost gave up out of fear of deforming the brass. I have a similar regulator on my .177 AT44-10. These rifles have a small air tank and the regulator doesn`t make a revolution in terms of shot count but it does make each shot consistent. I used a 11 grains pellets un-regulated at 290 m/s, and now i use 8 grains pellets regulated at 290 m/s.
      I went from 15 usable shots to 30 usable shots on a tank. I think the regulator is set at around 130 bar. It became much more of a rifle now than before in terms of usability but went from 30J to 22J so i compensate with shooting lighter pellets to keep muzzle velocity up.

    Am I still able to fill the gun to its full safe 250 bar fill, or will I have to fill less, also will that set regulated pressure have same, more, or less power than unregulated

    • @airgundepot
      @airgundepot  7 років тому +1

      You can still fill it to 250 bar with the regulator. As for the power, adding the regulator does not increase power, it just flattens the power curve so you will get more shots at a consistent velocity. As for what velocity and how many shots that will depend on how you tune the regulator.

    • @lloydrigney7476
      @lloydrigney7476 7 років тому

      Airgun Depot ok, thanks for the quick response, you guys have helped a lot before, I appreciate it, but adding the regulator, will the fps be about the same as without it, just more consistent? Or will I have to do testing to adjust the regulator the relative same fps

    • @airgundepot
      @airgundepot  7 років тому

      I have .177 Galatian RG ( the cylinder is included with this regulator and has 'regulator' word laser marking on the cap next to rotating ring , and also laser engraved GALATIAN RG at cocking lever side ) , I try to search this RG type but no result , I think this should be for Turkish market only.
      I dismantle the cylinder to increase the speed , it comes with 100 bar setting and give 750-780 fps with 15gr , I increase to 120bar and give 825-850fps with 15gr .
      it come without big O ring at valve end ( this is for venting ) , the valve spring is much more stronger than non RG series . frankly I am not satisfied with the spread , it is to wide , I did JB weld all the hole but one facing the transfer port , shot count increase but the spread still the same ..
      this video does not give the fact , you need venting , changing the valve spring tension , etc

    When the AT44 .22 is stock it shoots like 1050fps with 15.9 jsb. The hammer is hitting against 2900 psi. With the regulator in place the hammer is only hitting on 1800 psi. So it would seem setting the hammer to a weaker spring setting would be in order. Have you found this to be the case?

    Luego de muchas pruebas con ese regulador, llegué a una conclusión y puse en práctica algo qué en lo personal me dio resultado. Que cambio realizé? Simple, un plenum mas grande, ya que toda la parte de reglaje del regulador hatsan, se aloja dentro del plenum, restandole al mismo la capacidad de aire regulado, es muy poca la cantidad de aire y trae considerable baja de potencia en el arma, no es tema de dar mas tensión al martillo, no es eso, es poca cantidad de aire regulado en el plenum, falla de ingeniería creo. Todo se soluciona con un pleno de 9 centimetros de largo sustituyendo el original, así tenemos mas aire regulado y la velocidad del balín es mayor. En mi caso y con el plenum original, nunca llegue a sobrepasar los 680 fps, falló la ingeniería, pero se puede solucionar, claro está...con un sobrecosto que, si se lo piensa bien, es mejor comprar otro regulador a un precio un poco mas elevado a tener que gastar dinero en este regulador para dejarlo funcionar. Punto en contra para hatsan en este tema específico

    How much are the regulators from Hatsan Cameron, and are they only available for high powered rifles. In the UK, our legal power unless you have a firearm certificate is a maximum of 12 ft/lbs. The other problem that we have over here is that all manufacturers that sell or send to sell fit anti tamper devices. This is not a legal requirement, but it is a pain in the arse for those that like to fine tune their air rifles. As long as you keep it below the 12 ft/lbs limit without a firearm certificate, you aren't breaking the law. I believe it's just another example of manufacturers, like cars, making you have all the work done on a rifle will have to be done by the manufacturer. Yes, the warranty is void when you do this. But once you are out of your warranty period, you should be able to do this yourself without any problems. Hopefully you can do full strip down an rebuilds with your video demos, so that we know where an how the anti tamper compares to those in the USA.
    It's always great to see your videos and how much more fun you have in the USA, which is all down to the 2nd amendment.
    Keep up the good work.
