Thats inspirational!! I'm getting my old 1322 carbine out tomorrow with 24 inch barrel and setting up my own PaTing gallery. Thanks for getting me out of my Lazy-boy and back to the range.
I would have to agree, nice place to stash it but I just get high I don’t need extras on me even though it’s legal here in Chinada 😂 but fook it why not, I have nice pipe and I just take nice big hoot, I don’t smoke paper, get yourself nice pipe you will get high AF 😂 take care man and safety First…
I bought the Drifter last week. Added a steel breech, 24" barrel, custom trigger/sear package, and a power valve kit. Put a Bugbuster scope on it. Hitting 980-1020 fps with Gamo Raptor PBA 9.8 gr pellets. I've put steel breech mods on a lot of Crossman guns, this one was the EASIEST to mount a steel breech on. Great video, you've just got a new subscriber.
Riddict, nIce look at the Crosman 2289 backpacker repackaged and with a 100+ price tag. This used to be Crosman's sub 99 product but came with a steel breech! The good old days! LOL You'll have to spend 45+ for the steel breech; to mount an optic, to get max accuracy / distance and to get better FPS.
Cool gun. I bought my 2 boys a similar kit from PYA a couple years back for 100$ each. Came with a stock/bag/pointed pellets/ red dot that actually works/ pellet gun oil maybe. Shots pretty hard but I think they are the 1322 but not 100% sure. Either way these are great for plinkers/hunters/just having fun guns. Great review bud. Thanks. Happy Easter.
Easy pump action air gun Always need to Start off with the Pa-Ting😁 10 pumps is a work out at 500 plus, while 5 pumps works just fine. Great Quick Review💯💯💯🤙😎
Wow that's nice especially the stock. Looks nothing like the 1322 or 1377 I have both great guns last forever 😊 I'm sold I want one he he lol. Very great pa ting session 👍💯
Loved the video and I really love that carbine, really sweet. Wish it was available here in South Africa 🇿🇦. Nice shooting for the 5 shot grouping free hand and open sights
I’ve got 2 of these carbines watch where you put your hand when you pump it the stock does move back and forth the pin in the back you have to push up to take the stock off that where it will pinch you the other one I drilled the holes in the stock and made the stock permanent and it tightens just fine with the pistol grip screws, and these guns are very accurate they are well with the money
I highly recommend the steel breech and a bug buster scope I set mine up like that and it’s a real accurate gun I squirrel hunt with mine and it doesn’t disappoint, I drilled out the holes for the stock to make it a permanent piece to the gun I like it better than my break barrel rifles ive got , I set up my 362 the same way that gun is a bad boy also
Hey Riddick , nice video, I was just talking to one of my friends about this gun because he just made a carbon fiber shroud for the 1322 I was telling him about the CF grips and stock and thought they would make a nice combo . Could you please go into detail on the quick release stock, Im familiar all the same trigger frames have the spot for the spring and bearing , anyone with a 2240 , 1322 , XX77 has the same trigger frame , but I've never seen one up close and I bet a lot of people don't know what your referring to when talking about pushing the button , BTW nice carbine
Have you trouble with your stock being loose on the 2289 so how did you tighten the stock push the little button in the stock comes right off and the stock is not real tight on the grip area have you figured out how to make it not move if so please let us know I have put duct tape on my on mine and it helped a little bit but it's still loose
I'm use to the old backpack 2289 old model it use to have a bigger thick pump handle 💪 now its the same as all the other models🙁 a good airgun but I wish they would still sell discontinued. A marauder pistol Tigger as a 2stage upgrade 🤔😉✌️🎯💯🛠️🍻
I think I answered this in a different comment section. If you're asking how long it's been in production, the 362 is only a little over a year old. If you're asking how long it will continue to be in production, its a permanent product so it should continue to stay in production.
@@Relaxbadkneeadventures Yeah there's no way he's had it 10 years, the 362 is a brand new model. If he's thinking of the Benjamin 392, then yeah that's been around a long time. But the 362? No.
Question, as I have NO clue about air guns. I have a LOT of chipmunks on my property. Would that be overkill for them and would I be better off getting a smaller pump air gun pistol or is this one good for them? Thanks in advance.
I really like the carbon fiber look on this one and the extended barrel! _All this thing is lacking is a steel breech to be the perfect little "off the shelf" kit._ [Would you mind sending me a close up picture of how the stock is clipping on the frame? Is it wobbly?]
It's not wobbly at all, very snug fit. Yeah I will send you a photo on IG. It's just a little pin that keeps it locked on, but it's surprisingly effective.
Question!!! I’ve been blowing up your channel with comments so my bad lol. My question is, I’m just now getting back into pellet guns since I just bought my son his first one, and while I love how this gun shoots, I’m struggling getting use to using the big green dot sight. I shoot his cheaper gun and hit the target, but struggle with sighting in this type of sight. Have any suggestions on how to properly look down these type of sights? I’ve only got about 45 minutes of shooting time in the gun so maybe I need to play with it.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but the rear sight can be flipped around from a standard sight, to a peep hole sight. Which one is it currently set on? I would use the standard sight. You can also adjust that up or down if your shot is too high or too low. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver to make any of the adjustments to it. 🍻
@@OTSA aahhhh!!! I didn’t know about this. Just looked at it and I get it now 👍. Thanks man and your channel has been helping a lot. I’m now happy with the gun. Gonna get this one set up the best I can get it and now I’m looking at break barrels that aren’t too expensive.
@@OTSA ok!!! Apologies for all the replies!!! But… I’m understanding the sights now and now I love this gun. Just tested it after setting it up and it’s awesome. Not sure if the scope would be worth it or not since it’s multiple pumps and it may knock the scope out? I’m clueless with these things since I haven’t messed with them since I was young.
Not a problem at all, I'm happy to help when I can. The steel breech is definitely an upgrade worth looking into. You will need it for any optics. As for a scope, look into the smaller compact scopes from CV-Life, or even a good magnified red dot. Either of those would be perfect for this gun. Hopefully that helps! 🍻

Plastic dime tubes fit the co2 loops.
Interesting pump style 22 caliber air rifle that comes apart for EASIER STORAGE AND TRANSPORTING!!!😁👍😎
2289, a redesigned Backpacker?

That one would probably be worth putting a custom valve in.
Is the drifter basically a 1322 with a longer barrel?
Yep that's exactly what it is.
@@OTSA is it really.. that amazing it get about 100fps extra it seems?
Any upgrades to get more fps out of it?
Really any of the upgrades for the 1322 work with this one, so it's pretty flexible.
And yeah the longer barrel does contribute to the higher FPS 🍻
I have a question, what’s the deal with changing the breech? Any benefits? Thanks in advance!!
Well the steel one will hold up better over time, but also the steel one is necessary if you intend to mount a scope of any kind to it.
You can mount a scope or red dot sight on it
