Guitar: 2019 Edmund Blöchinger "Dome" SP/CSAR (tinyurl.com/w2...)
Here's Bartosz Paprot performing Alexandre Tansman's "Passacaille" on an incredible 2019 Edmund Blöchinger "Dome" model made with 1000-year old spruce for the soundboard and CSA rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.
Huge thanks to the folks at Apogee Electronics (ApogeeDigital.com) for the use of their Ensemble interface in these recordings.

Wonderful sound. Both - guitarist and luthier did amazing job.
Beautifull guitar! The luthier has the hand of god! Great job
Very fine guitarist, played with a lot of energy and panache. And lovely Tansman piece. Thanks.

Belíssima música
No to pokazałeś Klasę!
Great
A bit melodramatic in gestures, but what a performance! Simply great. Will come back to this again and again.
Melodramatic? Well I guess, ... unless he actually was meaning to decapitate the low E guitar string in a fit of Viking rage...
gut
Incredibile

muito bom
I feel he also should play percussion, and he looks like a warrior from Viking
Is that European spruce?
You mucked up the description GSI, some grammar errors that look like you just copied out the usual spiel. What's the axe?
I'm more mesmerized by his face. Such concentration; like he's going to do something nasty with the guitar. 😅
Edmund Blochinger, not Blöchinger.
The other way round. Blöchinger not Blochinger. It's German.
Blöchinger, not Blochinger ;-) Florian Blöchinger writes so on his own website, if you wanna see for yourself!
@@thibaultjaberg4658 Not all "o" are "ö" in german, but it seems really to be "Blöchinger". Sorry.
They "Blotched" it ;)
@@Andique1 it's called an umlaut as far as I recall from German class.
why is his face so close to the fretboard? lol
He certainly gets the feel of the piece out, I just find the baroque styling a little bit more staccato at times, especially when it's something of a drone without the flow of arpeggios or tremeloes or other such ornemantation. So, yes, outstanding performer and a great performance just a bit wasted on a piece that, for me :), lacks a bit of inspiration as a single piece without any matching context, though I'm sure it will sound amazing in a concerto or such.
