This is one of the best storage ideas I've seen in a long time. Way to think outside the box and maximize space. I'll for sure try this out. Thanks :)
I always try to step back and think if there is another way to do something, sometimes it works.... and sometimes it doesn't 😁
Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it
Best idea i seen in a long time. Thanks for sharing
Je trouve ça tres bien fait. Justement, je demenage à la campagne, vous serez une de mes inspirations. Merci.
Brilliant idea!
Very nice and ingenious!
That’s clean bro .. nice job..
Very good idea
Great job❤
Solid idea for a pole barn
Oh yeah stealing this!!
Awesome space saving idea!
Thanks!
I'm going to give this a shot but I'm going to try with a gap cut in on the front of each piece of pipe so they can kinda clip through. Thank you for the inspiration 😊
How big of a gap do you cut into the PVC?
Wow !!! Great idea .. good job
Much appreciated
Good idea
Genius, I love this idea
That’s absolutely amazing great job man👍🏻
THAT IS ONE OF THE COOLER THINGS 😎 I HAVE SEEN ON UA-cam AS FAR AS SHOP IDEAS AWESOME IDEA MY BROTHER!
Thank you for sharing. Looks good!
Awesome, great work.
That's beautiful
Excellent. You've given me a great idea. I'm going to build something similar that will be on the wall in a small room I use for storage and small projects. Thanks.
I like this. I had some PVC in my garage that I was just about to throw away. Definitely will be using this idea.
PVC makes great tool holders in the Garage as well, little bit of hand sanding and you can even paint it to make it look nicer
Genius idea 👍
That pitchfork facing out at eye level scares me, but the rest looks awesome!😂
They hang down and in now! 😂
This is beautiful!
Love it
Brilliant!!!!
Thanks!
That’s pretty sick Brother!!
Sweet!
Very genius!
Seeing this for the first time and wow, I am actually impressed. Such a simple but genius idea!
Thanks, much appreciated!
Man, you're a skilful problem-solver and a pretty good carpenter!

That is dope 👍 building it for my single car garage
okay now this is bad ass
Love it! Maximized storage innovative and didn’t put them all on display like decor ! Looks amazing
Much appreciated! Necessity is the mother of invention 😉
Great work and nice idea ❤️😍
Wow! Awesome hack!
❤ SMART ❤
Thanks
Well done, sir! That door opening function is cool!
Thank you, be sure to scan some of the comments, lots of great ideas from people to make it even better! Thanks again!
Great idea!
Love it love it! Plain simple and more important practical. Most used tools in the front, less used on the back.
Genius!
That's amazing. When I have a garage. I definitely want this
Wow
This shits badass
Hey! that is slick.
Thanks for sharing. That’s a really great idea and nicely Bilt as well.
Great idea! One suggestion, you can cut a decent slit in the pvc, that way you can wedge the tools in and out. Saves lifting them up and sliding them in. I had to do this because my shed is one 8 feet tall.
Brilliant! I'll be doing that for sure
Awesome idea. Probably wanna adde some diagonal supports on that door to minimize sagging over time
Good point, thanks for commenting
Niiice👍 I would have turned the tools facing back, so as not to hurt your self on them..
🙂 I since have, I've also left a garden rake on the ground with the tines up, I'm sure you can guess the rest
Awesome storage idea!
Wow this is excellent!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 awesome
Awesome
Very nice!
Very clever, thanks for sharing.
Creative and utilitarian!
Nice
Thanks, hope it helps you
That’s a great idea!!
This is a really great idea 💡!!!!
Great fucking idea! I'm going to build something similar...... Thanks for the idea!
This is great but I’d end up using the space I need for the door to open.
Your right that is a problem.
So I have a suggestion that might work for you.
I ended up moving mine next to the entrance door. That way the space in front isn't wasted and you have to keep the rack closed
Motivates me to keep it organized 🙂
@@mreinsmith great idea. That solves it! Thanks !
I just hope nobody loses an eye on that pitch fork
🤣
Nice job!!! 👌
That's a good idea 💡
Great ideas thanks for sharing 👍
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This is actually a good idea thanks for sharing
nice
Thanks
great idea my man
That’s really cool!
Thats awesome
Very cool
Wow this is genius!!! What can I actually use for this project? Pallets?
absolutely, I used pressure treated just because I was paranoid about bugs in the shed, but it probably was overkill
definitely an opportunity to repurpose!
Excellent storage idea... very creative sir!
Has the door sagged any. I like the idea, just curious how the door is braced to keep from drooping over time
No it's not sagging, but I used the thick corner braces and T braces which aren't cheap
Someone did suggest using cross bracing and in retrospect that would have been less expensive 🙂
Awesome! What are clips for the sledgehammer and axe?
I used 2 different types for large handle tools, bought from a big home improvement store
Large storage rubber grip wall mount holder 6.6 lbs
Wall mounted white steel spring grip clip storage hooks
The spring clips are better overall
thanks for sharing
Nice! Let me guess, your an Engineer.
😁 Well sort of, I used to be a network engineer, does that count?
Thanks for commenting, much appreciated
nice idea but noone at this house would put them back where they need to go. they would just be piled up
Thanks! Uhhh that never happens here, really! 😁
Good idea. I like the PVC tubing idea too. How much room did you give for the tools against the wall & the inside of the ‘door’?
11 inches I think, I'll double check when I get home, but the posts are 6x6s, there's about a 2 inch gap between them on the garage door frame, and then minus 3 inches for the door and wall framing and that should be 11 inches
Nope, the door hinges on the face of the post, so add back 1.5 inches, 12.5 inches :-)
Cool. Thanks a lot...
Killed alot of floor space
You're right, you have to keep it clear to open the door
My neighbor and I built one in his shed using sliding barn door wheels, same problem
Now, I might not be thinking of all the angles, so let me know if I'm missing something in this next thought...
So think about it, the only place remaining you can put tools like this is overhead. Otherwise no matter where you put them they will either take up floor space or be blocked by something else
I'm not sure I want 2 Pitchforks on my ceiling! 🤣

@@mreinsmith awesome reply 👏 👌
Thank you for being real 😁
not ideal for my small shed, as the arc where the tools swing must remain clear of objects.. but helpful otherwise thank you.
Link…?
Glad to provide a link, but to where, I'm not sure I know what you mean
