There are some brilliant storage options in this! Thanks! I have one for you...I got my hands on left over ends of 6x6 posts and carved out a slot for my phone to rest in the upright to watch or record! Down the back is 2 magnetic strips for screwdriver bits, down 2 sides and in behind I drilled holes for favourite pens/drill bits and the front that had a really bad crack I chiselled it out and added a tray to the bottom with a bar across the middle to hold up rulers, etc...trying to fit a spinner on the bottom for easy turning!

Very good. I am an amateur woodworker. Often the rain catches me on my outside workbench. Often tools and accessories get misplaced.
This week I will start keeping some containers..got lots of
them...at arms reach..less searching for bits etc. When it
rains from now on; I can just put the tubs or boxes in.the shed and
all the tools and parts/ nails/etc. will be easy to find. Keep up the good work.

Seriously, got myself a shed for my 50th last year. Whenever I'm looking for simple and effective storage on videos, out come the huge gadgets - in massive workshops! Love the use in between battens as I always thought such a waste of space - and like the wood you used for the drill bits - definitely more my kinda vibe. I'm just on a break from sorting the yard. Yours video this morning jump started me ❤

Very inspiring; some very useful ideas and prompts in there. I really need to stop prevaricating (I'm an expert at that) and sort my workshop out. 😒
Every time I walk past my two large (broken) plastic tubs of screws and bolts I look the other way. 🙄 So glad none of you can see it, although I now feel totally vindicated regarding all the 'spares' I haven't thrown away.
Thanks for sharing; please keep them coming. 👍

Ha... the plastic box of screws had been broken on the base for years 😂 Even if you organise them in little boxes first, then just work out where to put them!

Looking nice. Tip for drilling and cutting scraps like worktops, laminate flooring or anything with a hard wearing finish. Use stuff you dont mind going blunt. The finish has alumium oxide powder in it, same as in most sand papers and second hardest to diamond. It will destroy even carbide tipped tools.

Thanks for this one, I am organising my shed next week as need to get it done. Some great tips here and love how you did some ideas. The tools on the wall 'shadow board' is how I started last week and now wanting to finish. I keep off-cuts and scrap wood "just in case" so will have loads to do. I was surprised you didn't do the "Dad's nail and screw jar store" my dad and his dad did it and i do it now, screw a jar lid to the underside of a shelf and fill the jar with the screws, nails etc. (All in sizes of course) and fit to the lids. Great to see at a glance...
