That is the ultimate "I do whatever I want to do" watch. A high horlogy piece which main complication makes the seconds hand run like a 30 dollar quartz watch.
I've never been a big fan of A. Lange & Söhne but this is one of their finest. Very very very cool with that DB seconds hand, and God, that movement is one of the best looking I've seen from them. SO much going on in there for such a seemingly simple looking watch!
I like a lot of watches across many brands. I like this one the most. The dial is perfect. The numerals are perfect. The case back is perfect. It has straps which I have realized are better than a bracelet. It has a very cool complication and it’ll sit nice and heavily on the top of your wrist because it is gold. It also is unassuming, it’s perfect.
Beautiful movement in a not too exciting watch. Lange should open to the younger generation. In my opinion their only interesting watch is the Zeitwerk.

The lug to lug is not 48mm sorry. I own this watch and have measured it prior to making this comment. The lug to lug is approximately 50.3mm…..
I wish they made this but with the centre seconds only, instead of having two seconds hands.
What is the purpose of the central seconds hand?

Thanks for your enlightening insight. But not every occasion requires a dial that looks like somebody threw up. It is after a timepiece
