Our pleasure - thanks for watching, Vincent. Expect to see more of these with watches, interviews, and collection reviews in the near future. Best, Tim
It felt natural and easy during the shoot. We were out of action for a while, but Perpetually Patek will be at least a monthly feature in 2024. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews Tim, this is my dream collection. I'd just add 5204P white dial to it since I believe no patek collection is complete without a perpetual-chrono piece 💯
Thank you for a world class presentation and video chat about some massive movers from Patek Philippe. Thank you Brian and Tim for another wonderful educational session about treasured timepieces.
It's fun to shoot these! I love focusing on Patek as a theme, and these are among my favorite watches from any brand. If I could only collect one brand for the rest of my life, it would be Patek Philippe. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews really wishing you would have said JLC or even De Bethune here because Patek is everyone's answer but I'm also glad you didn't just say some other brand 'just to be different.'
Thanks for watching! We had lots of fun with this one. Fortunately, we had a great stock of options in the safe to build a fantastic episode. Best, Tim
Tim, thank you for the comment. One quick question. What do you think of the Vacheron overseas perpetual ultrathin? Is it worth the money at 100 K or would you do something else, thank you.
Finally a new episode, it had been a while. The 5196P is a gorgeous piece but wouldn't be my first pick it would be my 3 or 4th Patek. Now, that 5070P would definitely be a great piece if I were to start a Patek collection.
We're going to be back on a regular basis in 2024. This series was on hold while Brian got installed with his new home and new shop in South Florida. We'll put him on a frequent flyer plan to Philadelphia and shoot at least one of these -- preferably two -- per month next year. Best, Tim
Would love to see the 5520 movement on a Nautilus case, so it can be the perfect Travel time watch, waterproof to 100 meters and with luminous hands...5726 the perfect Nautilus
@@gmshadowtraders Tim interviewed him and he's on record of having a Lange Datograph and a Rolex GMT Master II, both which he personally bought. He's social media suggests he was gifted a blue dial Royal Oak by his wife and that he also has a white dial Rolex Daytona (no origin story that I'm aware of).
For Tim to not select a 5236P and a 5235G while choosing any version of a Nautilus makes me scratch my head. I've been watching him for 6 years and this does not reflect his weekly comments.
I didn't want to duplicate watches I've covered in other episodes and on other shows. I talked about the 5236P two shows ago and the 5070J one show ago. And I've probably said enough about the 5235G. Sometimes, I need to offer variety instead of recommitting to how I'd build my modern-reference dream Patek collection, which remains 5016 (any), 5275P, 5235G, 5236P, and 5070J. Best, Tim
@@the1916company I don't get the fascination with the 5070...for my taste, the dial is cluttered, the movement doesn't fit the watch's size, and the hand set does't grab me. Obviously to each their own, I certainly don't want you hunting the watches I'm interested in because I know they wouldn't end up with me in that scenario. Very interesting to see your modern-reference dream Patek collection: 5016 (any), 5275P, 5235G, 5236P, and 5070J...thank you for sharing.
Only people who have money to burn can afford the best made watches from the top watch makers . Majority of aurtomatic movements and watches are still not worth the time of day and money . Expensive watches that cannot keep excellent times within a second a day are a total waste of time and money . Movement finish of a caliber movement means sod all if a watch still cannot not keep accurate time . The honey moon period of buying one's desired favourite watch and been able to put it on your wrist , wears off as you get older in age . Expensive desired statement watches become less of a desire to waste ones money on , unless you are have an impulse addiction to buying watches alone that you cannot rid the habit , while having an endless supply of any amount of money as an endless money tree stream in your pocket . Life is too short as regards striving for the unattainable for the majority of people , and you cannot take it with you when one dies .
I just wonder, who are your target group? Are you adverting to sell these or it is just for exhibiting? Enough of this Patek Patek Patek day in and day out! Good for their creators, to me personally they don't exist! I'm in a different universe. Go figure...

Not a big fan of Patek, but that Salmon dial world time is gorgeous
Great to learn about the different references. Keep up the good work
Absolutely love this content, thank you gentlemen!
Great picks. Couldn't agree more with you Tim. Really hard to choose when talking about PP!
5726 is my grail - on the list - lets hope!
Is that a Patek Philippe on 2:00 with al that dust inside of the watch?
Them filthy bastard ! The could have at least blowed out the work shop with an air duster !
Annual calendar, chronograph, travel time Nautilus. That would be a dream watch
4947 blue dial in steel!…way underrated and nobody talks about
who dresses these guys? can't Mad magazine provide a decent wardrobe budget for these Alfred E. Newman bros?
Tim rolls up he sleeves in the Sun, hence the discoloration.
Love my 5726 1A on bracelet…….best Nautilus, I agree 👍🏻

Well and tastefully done!
I miss these collabs. But it should be done with all brands. Not just Patek
President Kennedy looking well

Echoes of Adam Driver vibes from Mr. Mosso too.
