The subject matter is what I have been thinking bout for awhile uniting people and thinking how much energy people put into to who gonna win for presidency and I think to myself that it really doesn't matter who who the leader of the country will be because it doesn't matter because no one person can do the job that this world needs to be done doesn't matter if they are black or white or democrat or Republican it just does not matter because no one person can do the job no matter what they believe. A grand theme, well executed. Made in my neighborhood (more or less). Congrats on a professionally produced short. My favorite character, though, was the receptionist. She seemed the most real and was well portrayed by the actress. Reminded me a bit of Kathy Bates. I'm not a fan of collectivism, thus disagree with your conclusion. I love it, and true words, but a difficult task. it takes a lot to get one or more nations to follow a man who thinks like that, there are too many who think differently and only think of themselves. and will turn the world into something worse than what it is right now, it takes a nation that takes the step first so others will follow. and we don't have any leader who wants it right now (of the big nations), even in our small nation we currently have bad leaders who are leading us into the abyss instead of leading us in the right direction (free energy for all ) etc., although there are many of us who would like to go in that direction but do not have the power to make our nation and its people change this.

I recently saw a UFO from very close by, about 20 meters, it was the size of a house with lights everywhere, it went up and I saw some kind of laser beam straight down then up and it was gone, but I also know that there there are no universes or other planets so where do they really come from?

We know how to choose leaders. The fault is in how those who want to become leaders manipulate and mislead the people who choose them. As long as people can be deceived by people wanting to be leaders then there will be continuous failures in several areas of government, society, and science.
So many of us have seen something we cannot expain , for my part it was not a flying object , as birds or planes do fly , since then , i am certain unidentified lights or matters we have seen , meaning our eyes receive a small part of EM waves and imagination does the rest , JWST will prove soon we are not alone but if you were a termite , what would you have to ask a human being ?
Acting and storyline were good a really enjoyable film.. However, I'd suggest attention to technical detail in your set. Your Newtonian was mounted upside down twice during the film. An amateur astronomer would have caught that.
Thank you watching the film and the kind words. You are right about the telescope. Actually, what happened is that when I reached the set I found out that the telescope prop was broken. We tried to tape it at the bottom to see if it would hold steady, but it was just too heavy for it, and considering where our location was, it wasn't going to be possible to get a new prop at the last minute. So I had to shoot with what I had. It's part of filmmaking process, no matter how much you prepare, things go wrong and you just have to do best in what you have. the gun-toting astronomer was kind of a silly (more likely he'd have some past mistake to blackmail the old man with). the overall idea was interesting nonetheless. I liked the meandering moral path of the kid. good writing. and the whole thing was well done, good acting and tech.

Starts out as individualism, ends up individuals looking for a leader. THAT IS WHAT IS KNOWN AS A CONTRADICTION IN TERMS. IN A WORD: GROTESQUE. The film ends with a zero: the only thing that befits this shit short film!!
How funny. Six minutes into it and i see these filmmakers get it.. a well qualified "dork" gets turned down for an astrophysics internship with the supermodel/poser astronomer. Yup. This is exactly the scenario that's playing out over and over in today's America. What a sad, hopeless nation this has turned into. Oh well.. movin' on..
Nothing in the premise we haven't seen before; decent dialogue but profoundly illogical behavior of the characters; VERY draggy pacing; embarrassingly amateurish acting; and Anton Chekhov wrote, "NEVER put a gun on the stage unless you intend to use it."
I guess it's just me......I read these reviews and all these people love these short movies, and to me.....most of them have very poor acting, poor scripts and are generally ridiculous.

I love it, and true words, but a difficult task. it takes a lot to get one or more nations to follow a man who thinks like that, there are too many who think differently and only think of themselves. and will turn the world into something worse than what it is right now, it takes a nation that takes the step first so others will follow. and we don't have any leader who wants it right now (of the big nations), even in our small nation we currently have bad leaders who are leading us into the abyss instead of leading us in the right direction (free energy for all ) etc., although there are many of us who would like to go in that direction but do not have the power to make our nation and its people change this.

I recently saw a UFO from very close by, about 20 meters, it was the size of a house with lights everywhere, it went up and I saw some kind of laser beam straight down then up and it was gone, but I also know that there there are no universes or other planets so where do they really come from?

Yes, it is.
Acting and storyline were good a really enjoyable film.. However, I'd suggest attention to technical detail in your set. Your Newtonian was mounted upside down twice during the film. An amateur astronomer would have caught that.
Thank you watching the film and the kind words. You are right about the telescope. Actually, what happened is that when I reached the set I found out that the telescope prop was broken. We tried to tape it at the bottom to see if it would hold steady, but it was just too heavy for it, and considering where our location was, it wasn't going to be possible to get a new prop at the last minute. So I had to shoot with what I had. It's part of filmmaking process, no matter how much you prepare, things go wrong and you just have to do best in what you have. the gun-toting astronomer was kind of a silly (more likely he'd have some past mistake to blackmail the old man with). the overall idea was interesting nonetheless. I liked the meandering moral path of the kid. good writing. and the whole thing was well done, good acting and tech.
