Imagine all the explorers throughout our history, landing on foreign shores, hoping to find wealth, land, freedom, hope. How many of them ended up on inhospitable shores, dying alone and hopeless far from home. Until one lucky soul finds a safe harbor, a paradise, or even just a place that is hospitable enough to support them. It takes a special kind of soul to risk it all in the slim hope of finding something better. Those brave, foolhardy, outright crazy pioneers changed our future, gave us new lands and opportunities (some squandered) and helped enable our species to survive and thrive, sometimes far from home. This film shows the next step in our journey, not just exploring a world, but MANY worlds, further from home than any before them. Outstanding work Blake Simon and team, a short but beautiful example of the human spirit.

Not unlike the people who risk their lives daily coming to America seeking freedom and a better life for their families and themselves. Undocumented they may be, but they just want the opportunity to live like human beings, with dignity and respect. After all, this nation was founded by immigrants without any papers whatsoever.
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. ✨✌️💙🇺🇸

Why would someone be offended or annoyed by what you said? If you thought it was stellar, who cares what they say about your entitled opinion. They're entitled to theirs as well but there's no need to say "dare I say" as in trying to apologize for your opinion and not offend, unless you're saying it bc you have a guilty conscience bc you really don't think it's stellar but trying to encourage the creators instead of putting down their film? Tbh I hope you genuinely thought it was stellar and maybe you didn't understand what "dare I say" means.

9:05 my only criticism is showing Earth-like forest, yet the planet is 500F. Not only would it seem unlikely that earth-like condition would evolve. I don't even know if you can have biology like that at 500F. The Goldilocks zone around deep ocean thermal vents is under 400F.

Kennedy wanted America to reach the moon, now, what I want to know, is, who began the narratives that the moon landings were a hoax?

I for one would love to see the full movie made. This is quality art and for me would stand out from what is out there today. I have signed up for Netflix a few times and eventually give up as there is so much crap being made. I spend 40 minutes trying to find something to watch and start only to leave after a few minutes. this movie reminded me of David Bowies "Major Tom" song. this would be creepy - in a different way, to be out there all alone, away from everyone, waiting, waiting. good movie - which can happen any time a space craft goes up

JFK's reference to "Why does Rice play Texas?" Rice University is a small business school tucked inside Houston, TX. The University of Texas is a very large university in Austin, TX. It's an annual David vs Goliath when they play football against each other.
