Wow. Not only has she realized that this has happened over & over but that she is most likely in one of the few if not only universe where her husband is still alive. So she'll be fighting for him forever

Very tastefully executed Alexis. I loved it from beginning to end. The twist that they are at a never ending battle for one man is creepy and dark in a way. Like she will be forever fighting to get back home to her husband. Sad. Well done

The others would most definitely do the same and beat you at 'your' game, coming from possibly more advanced worlds (the presence of several memory drives with the last data seems to suggest that the second girl had been on a road show stealing data drives and other people's lives)

Liked it very much. There are some logical inconsistencies though. Perhaps someone else already mentioned them:
    1) Her husband would not respond in the way he does, because his wife would have been experiencing a complete loss of memory every other month (his remark suggests that another "doppelganger" takes over with that frequency). Each doppelganger lived without her husband, so does not know what happened in the time she was gone. In other words, either she must have explained him the situation with the dopplegangers, or he would be extremely worried and try to get her into treatment with an MD because he will think she has some kind of severe brain disorder (alzheimer's, etc.?). In any case, his response should have been completely different from what it is now...
    2) If a new doppelganger comes in every other month, which she finds out almost immediately as she arrives - she would still have 2 months to prepare for her doppelganger to come. If she's smart - and that is what she is, she would not be at her home office around that time, and move to another place. The doppelganger would have much difficulties finding her. Even better: she would set a trap for her doppelganger, capture her, sedate her, and destroy her equipment at the other universe and move her back there.
It is a pity that these kind of things are not taken into account - in general BTW for most SF series/movies. I think that it is often the case that just minor changes could make the story line consistent, and with that probably much more interesting.

The short film holds my attention well. It is not novel but very few story's are it is just how well they are told that matters. If you want an original look out for Nigel Kneale - his novel story's for the BBC have been retold in Sci-Fi Dr Who, Star Trek, other films many times.

What if the producers and writers chose deliberately the male figure leggo because the star is a woman...
On the flip side of the coin, if it had been written for a man, the leggo would have to be that of a female.
Having said that, i think the producers tried to relate our own weakness to fall for the one we're probably not worthy of having ...

I think it's wonderful that people are getting stuff up, most of then just re-prove the maxim that Hollywood's fried but we have some great young people chomping at the bit. BUT: I gotta say it; I find it really diffcult to understand just about EVERY short "time travel" trope. It's a model that I guess just NEEDS slower, more deliberate plotting. I'm SURE the writer(s), directors, actors understand, but take a momo and go through the comments NObody can figure thse things out! And I mean, ALL of them. This lady collects plastic square-guy dolls and shoots herself? Why? Becuase somrbody died 3 or 6 or some years ago? There's no WHY here.

Nobody indeed. This is just impossible to figure out. Nevertheless the way or the time you take, this is just impossible. Can't work, always a flaw in the script or even the theory. This is the old story of the one who gets in the past and accidentally kills his grand father. If he kills him, how could he be living in the first place and go in the past ? You just have to appreciate this awesome one for what it is : a very good story very well done and acted.

If it is Time travel or parallel-worlds there is a simple solution for this plot.
    1. Go back before he dies to stop it.
    or
    2. Find a Parallel world where he doesn't die.
    or
    3. Just find someone NEW. He wasn't All that if she would have allowed herself to live her life.
That would answer it for All of them, well some.
