I loved the relationship between Sherlock and Mary. The only woman of John he ever liked and vice versa. I love it probably even more than the relationship between John and Mary. Because it really surprised me how many scenes they had together.
Personally I REALLY love season 4. Mary's death was a blow that got me MAD as hell, but the season is excellent. And god, I was so mad at John this episode, and his "you made a vow" to Sherlock, you know it's echoing his own guilt, he made a vow to love Mary his whole life and be faithful to her and one girl on the bus and he's all over his mind not able to "respect" what he promised. Guh, this episode is so bleak and hard, but it's a good prep for the rest of the season.
I have the same reaction when Mary jump in front of Sherlock but first I was shocked so I only screamed🔊. And then I cant stop crying when she talk to John and Sherlock😭😢😥. I love her so much 😍
It was heartbreaking/shocking when Mary died but I think I had similar reaction to the episode as well, in the sense of it being a bit underwhelming and confusing. :'P This series is quite an interesting one. I'd be keen if you could watch BBC's Merlin tv series after Sherlock. It's so good!
Immediately turns off computer. My assignments I've been procrastinating since Thursday can wait a little longer. This is more important than me passing biology.
As soon as I saw the notification for this I was literally yelling at my computer, "No! Not right after Amy and Rory." I hope you got yourself a glass of wine and a bubble bath after this!
Mary does die in the novels because she disappears in the later ones so it’s widely assumed that she died. I knew BBC Sherlock were going to kill her off- but this was painful.
It was no surprise that Mary was going to die. Given that Mary in the story dies quietly off the page and no mention of her afterwards at least the writers gave her a backbone and extended her character. Mary knew she probably couldn't have a normal life and in some ways she was smarter than Sherlock. Genius doesn't necessarily mean the best.
I cried so much if Mary dies. John and Mary have a family they were happy. I dont want this. She did a lot of fauts but John makes her to a better person😢😢😢😢
Sherlock asking that if he ever gets overconfident to be told the name Norbury, that is from the original books. Still annoyed that John was chatting up a woman who wasn't his wife.
Have to admit; I always thought Mary as a super-soldier was really silly. I don't know if she was killed off just for storyline purposes or if she wasn't very popular but I have to admit, it didn't bother me to see her go.
Wannabe_Baby Yep Mary dies in the books. I was wondering when she was going to die. I though it might be in episode 3. But dying in episode 1 and being the catalyst for the second episode was a god move.

Seriously, I liked Mary as a character and her death scene was really sad, but why is everyone always so shocked about it? As soon as Sherlock said "she's under my protection" or "not on my watch", I knew she'd die. Did nobody else expect it to turn out that way?
Wow - bad week for Jess's heart this week! (waves fist, 'Moffat!!!'') Probable the weakest of the entire series, even with the surprise death of Mary (though, if you know the books, you might have expected Mary Watson to die at some point). Next week, though, woah - amazing episode - especially if you know a little about a certain dead TV and radio presenter from the UK.
It's not entirely his fault this time though, since Watson's wife dies in the books too (albeit between stories), so Conan Doyle is really the one to blame.
Marcus pushing: you'd still risk yourself, and having the person still be shot. Pulling. You'd still be risking the person. So jumping in front is the easiest way for the person behind not to be injured
fancynancypigs Me too, I liked it a lot. I love the dark tone and the psychology of the series. Series 2 is my favourite, but series 3 is strong. The Sign of Three is maybe my favourite episode. A tough call tho. I understand some people don't like darker tones. People have underrated series 4, and I wish people could see it for what it is. Instead of I don't like it it's not the same as the other series. They went too far etc. Series 4 was beautifully filmed.

First Amy and Rory, now Mary. Tough reaction week for you.
Production was severely hampered by the fact the dog wouldn't move.
$. عربي
The bloopers where hilarious especially when an extra bent down and pulled on the lead showing the dog what to do 😂😂

Well, at least we know what happened to The Master.
I loved the next episode, it's one of my favorites. Watch out for Mrs. Hudson!! :)
Let's be honest. Mary could never jump in front of the bullet that fast.
Ellis Williams I'm calling that artistic license and she jumped before it was fired.
She didn't. It wasn't in "real time".
Yup. She guessed the consequences of Sherlock's taunting. She tried to warn him, stop him.
Maybe her last name is Sue haha.
@@baishihua I understood that refrende

OMG I can't wait for your reaction on next episode😄
Watching the Doctor lose Rory and Amy, and now watching Mary die. It has been a rough week for you.
Ikr it was haha I’m watching back through all her older reactions haha

Great reaction, and in hindsight, given they had just split up IRL (Martin and Amanda) makes those end scenes a bit more emotional.
Took me WAYYYY too long to recognize that Sacha Dhawan (who plays the Master against Jodie Whittaker's Doctor) is playing AJ
The next episode is great. Looking forward to it.

That was my reaction to her death too besides crying my eyes out as well.
you missed the ending with Mary after the credits:/
To this day, I'm still not ok with Mary getting killed off. She was a great addition to the series.
Did you watch the mid- or post - credit scene?
Of only he hadn't shot in slow motion, he would have hit Sherlock like he meant to!
Girl, Mary's death HURT!!!!
It still does after 6 years
I cried so much if Mary dies. John and Mary have a family they were happy. I dont want this. She did a lot of fauts but John makes her to a better person😢😢😢😢
I'm a simple Person..... I see sesskasays and reaction and click...
Did you miss the short clip after the end credits?
You should prepare yourself, this series is much darker
I only crie every time i watch this Episode😢. I love you mary😍
Sherlock asking that if he ever gets overconfident to be told the name Norbury, that is from the original books. Still annoyed that John was chatting up a woman who wasn't his wife.
Can't wait till the next two episodes! Great reaction as always, love you!
the next two are awesome
I always love your Sherlock reaction's Keep them up :)
The next episode is amazing.

It's one of my favourite oddities of the books that Mary dies, John re-marries to ANOTHER Mary, and then Mary Watson 2.0 dies TOO.
Oh if you think this is bad. Wait until you get to end of the next episode
loved the reaction as per usual but the cinderela mug
You're gonna love the next one. That's all I'm gonna say.

Dave F i doubt she would know about him
You must really hate Steven Moffat by now 😂😂
It's not entirely his fault this time though, since Watson's wife dies in the books too (albeit between stories), so Conan Doyle is really the one to blame.
But didn't Mark Gatiss write this?
kaizoisevil, Steven Moffat is still the showrunner alongside. He would have made the big decision for Mary's death.
This series pretty much sealed that for me. I hated it.
I enjoyed it, especially the 2nd episode.
I heard there making a season 5.I looked it up and non of them are saying no.It always takes two years for the next season so who knows.
Agh you didn’t wait till after the credits!
This episode was probably the weakest of this season for me personally. I love the next one.
You don't have Season 3 Episode 3 on your channel??
and I know it's from a storyline perspective, but wouldn't it be easier to push/pull somebody away from a bullet?
Marcus pushing: you'd still risk yourself, and having the person still be shot. Pulling. You'd still be risking the person. So jumping in front is the easiest way for the person behind not to be injured
once you finish Sherlock please please please try Utopia the UK version not the crappy fox one
You look amaxing gj with what you been doing
Next week is going to mega,
Honestly leaving just a comment. I cant re live this.
This is another hard one to watch.
please react to gaga five foot two documentary
I found this one underwhelming, I must admit - I think the following episode is much better.
I like To watch your videos, I like to see you, I love you.
Can't say I'm a fan of series 4.
