Only thing that really bugs me about the Tuareg is the high beam switch gets flicked on frequently when pulling the clutch in. I was going to file the end of the switch shorter but I’m hoping that it will rectify itself with fitment of heated grips🤞🏼
I haven't ridden enough at night to notice whether I do that or not. I know I do have to lower my low beam angle, it was really high in my opinion. I think heated grips would be a nice upgrade.
I think I just need to adjust my headlight down and it’ll be fine. I’m sure the auxiliary lights would be an improvement, but I don’t ride enough at night to justify them. I don’t have the heater grips, but do think they’d be a good upgrade to get for sure.
I hate riding at night. I've hit deer twice while night riding. I have been lucky enough to stay upright, but when I must be on the road at night I ride like a wimp.
Damn, you hit a deer twice and didn’t go down both times? That’s some skills man, good on you. My vision is getting worse at night so I avoid it and drive “conservatively” when I do, “wimp” is unbecoming of a motorcyclist.
The high beam was good, although I didn’t use it other than trying it in my driveway. The standard light, “low beam,” was plenty bright and casts a wide area. However, I think it was set too high, so I’m going to adjust it lower when I get a chance.

Did you mean you prefer the dash in dark mode? If so you can change it to that in settings menu
