Good stuff man. Glad to see you take her out there. Between my DRZ and Tiger(when I had her) kept it between 2 and 3, and feather that clutch (is your best friend hehe). 1st just ends up being to choppy of an experience unless you really need it. Use of rear brakes for sure.
Dope post brother. Looking to own one here soon. I see myself getting some good practice in on terrain similar to what you are cruising on. Nerve racking gets me hyped up. I hope you get more confident & do a lot more challenging stuff. Keep practicing man. You’ll get there👍🏼😎😜 the brake & shifter are going to be a problem for me being 6’ 5. Didn’t test ride it but I did get my leg over one. I look forward to modifying mine to accommodate my issues. Keep the vids coming. Cheers
Thanks for the comments Adam. I was pretty happy with how the first off-road ride went. The front end slid out a couple times, but I was able to save it. I’m not sure if that speaks to how good the bike is or my riding, properly the former. I definitely have to get more miles on the dirt. You gotta get one man.
Unfortunately, no. However, I do plan on going again to the same location with another Tuareg rider this weekend. I'll try to capture some video of that ride. I did notice the chain is way loose since this last ride, not sure how long it's been loose. The axle nut is 26mm, which is an odd size, at least I don't have it, so I ordered a socket along with a wrench in that size, the latter is for the toolkit I'll keep on the bike. I did enjoy riding it off road and I think my next experience will be way better b/c I won't be so apprehensive about what the bike can do.
I can’t remember what I was using on this particular video, but likely. It’s something I jerry-rigged to the front of my chin guard to hold a GoPro 11.

Hey man. Have you been off-road since posting this video? How is it going?
