Well, I'm Gen X and I like your video. Take that for what it's worth. Keep it up man. A lot of us just want real conversational content.

Well I liked your removal of the blanked out vents, you aren't the first to raise a query on them and I definetly will be doing the same.

Gawd that bike sounds so good. You know, I really don't know anything specific, but it seems to me I remember that at one time you could get a real time read out on your phone(?) of what the GoPro was seeing. In that way you just find out what your initial set up is and then go on your merry way. Again, I don't know that this is still a real thing - but the GoPro on your helmet was potentially a much better view than the chest mount. Hey, maybe they make a mount for your nose, or over one eye - LOL. I think what you're doing for why you're doing it is just great, so keep forging ahead, you'll only be the wiser, as you know. Later.........

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about this perspective. I'm gonna try something off my chin or over the mouth guard next time. I resisted these locations before because I felt it wouldn't capture the handle bars, but maybe it's better for viewing so the audience can see the road ahead. Regarding that feature to see what GoPro sees when recording, the live preview mode goes blank when you start recording, another gripe I have with GoPro... Thanks again Todd, I really appreciate the quick feedback.

Have a look at Itchy Boots UA-cam she uses various but one on mount off the chin guard of her Arai TourX, just keep doing it.

Thanks for the suggestion Harry. Coincidently, I figured out a way to mount the GoPro11 Mini on my chin guard yesterday and will be posting the video shortly. I think this latest setup is the closest to ideal thus far. Going back to Itchy Boots, holy crap, I can’t imagine how long it takes her to setup her cameras and then edit the footage. Good stuff though.

I would like to see the actual reasoning of the person concerning the vent cut you did. I have looked at the vents and wondered if the cut out is viable or not. To me it looks like only one of the sections will do any good, if at all. As for comments don't get into a war of words with keyboard warriors. I have switched from GoPro to DJI Action 3. Got tired of the endless problems with gp. And yes in places like the UK they will send you a ticket for speeding because they have cameras everywhere.

AZ, this is what he wrote, "OCD Moto I do absolutely all of my own work. I’ve had the bike apart three times already. I’ve looked at the mod you did because it came up on the Adventure Rider forum a few times and it’s an interesting concept. In this case, if and I stress “if” this helped to pull air through the radiator it’s going to hit your lower torso/top of thighs. The air coming through those holes will be turbulent air. This will increase dirty air hitting you. This bike isn’t exactly great with airflow management. The mid sized Puig windscreen helped but a lot of air comes up though the tunnel causing air flow issues. That extra air you’re pulling won’t lower operating temps of the engine and the radiator has no issues with heat exchange. You’re targeting people that don’t know much about bike mods. Be upfront about the mods you do. Take your bike to your dealership and ask them if what you did would hurt resale. Actually show them what you did, don’t just call them. I didn’t price replacing those panels but I’m sure they aren’t cheap could could basically be unobtainium. Also, many people off road these bikes. Cutting those holes could make the panels more prone to cracking under impact. That’s conjecture on my part though. It seems as though you like the mod and you feel it’s beneficial. I’d disagree. I’ve got 38 years riding and bike modding experience and over 25 years machining and engineering experience. You’re video had way to many “I thinks” and opinions to be credible for me. Good luck growing your channel and doing your laundry. I’ve got hockey to watch and I’m bored of this conversation now."

My reasoning for doing it was because it bothered me that the vents were fake. I might do the same and switch to DJI.

OK I see his point but it's your bike and what you do with your bike is ok weather I agree or disagree with you. Just be more absolute in your videos that it is your idea and not gospel. I haven't put up any videos lately but will soon however I don't engage with keyboard warriors like I said.I do alot of mods to my bikes that folks don't agree with but I don't care, maybe because I've been riding longer than most have been alive and don't care what they think. PS you do go to fast for the California drivers to take aim at you.HeHe

Good points AZ. I don't care what people think or say per se. I used to be overly nice in my replies, but I don't give a sh*t anymore, some people need to be told how it is sometimes. I'm not doing this to get subs or grow my channel. I usually respond to negative comments with a frank/honest comment back, ask them to unsubscribe, then delete their comment (you gotta love censorship when you can do it yourself). The thing about engaging someone negative that I realized is I really don't mind and it's very little effort on my part. Granted, if I have something better to do, I'll do it, or if it's really pissing me off and effecting my personal life, I'll stop. In this case, I was doing several loads of laundry and it was easy to reply to him on my phone, the whole exchange was kinda funny in my opinion. He replied with that last legit comment after I ask him to put his money where his mouth is and call me, which he never did. Now, if my channel grows to the point I can't respond to positive or negative comments, I'll pay my daughter to respond to each on my behalf, I'm sure she'll be nicer.
