Shop manager feature seems useful. You could log your maintenance records that way you can keep track of parts that come with free replacement warranties. Brake pads, rotors,batteries,vaccum pumps etc all get replaced for free if you get the parts with warranty.
i have an entry model snap on Solus Edge by no means is entry price. the new Autel MP900ts series has everything but of course i got it today on Cyber Monday sale for only 1k. but updates are pretty affordable compared to my Snap-on which was more expensive than buying a new scan tool .
The MK808TS Does have quite a lot of service and hot functions and is bi directional. Especially on BMWS and Land Rover. Just no programming and coding functions.
The reality is you need Snapon for domestic and imports, Autel is king with Euros next to Xtool, And they make a nice Euro Battery registration / diag tool, Autel BT608 so here in the states when you deal w both ends of the spectrum with cars - and as a mechanic, it’s good to have both, not just 1 or the other.

You seem to know quite a bit about Autel. Looking for a scan tool that can read modules and clear error codes on 2012-15 Chevrolet Volts. Would be nice to find one that does not use pirated software or requires subscription. Maybe I'm dreaming? Anyone have a rec on something tried and true, not brand new? I'm not a certified tech and don't do it for a living, respect those who do it everyday.
The basic Autel will do full scan and clear however it does not require subscription unless you wanted to update and get newer model cars.. it’s roughly £400ish on eBay. However, if you wanted to do coding and programming then you’ll have to pay £1500+ for a decent machine and you’ll have to do yearly subscription to be able to do coding and programming
@@sadiagnostics Looking at the latest 2023 MK808s spec list it says clutch replacement parts replacement which will mean it can do the relearn sequence after fitting on a MMT transmission for my Toyota. Are you saying in this case it wont do it without the J2354 pass through box ? thanks
@@sadiagnostics okay. I just got the Autel Ultra Lite so realistically that should open up a whole new world for me? I have the 808 and trying to diagnose tranny stuff but keeps saying Module Not Supported
@@johnnyboy6429 yeh the ultra is the best and is the same as the elite the only difference is that it’s quicker processor and quicker full scan and clear that’s all….
@@sadiagnostics i got an 07 ford escape that doesnt work w the tranny (shift or drive) after fluid is warm. The temp says its only 37c when warm. Just replaced solenoids and valve body. Gonna try pump next. Still cant find info on the temp sensor. Is a cd4e tranny 4wd. Any ideas?

It's straight forward but it doesn't seem like it has 1/3 the options of what you can do as the snap on we have .

To be honest with u I have delphi 150 bought for 30£ the clone one and I have been using it since 2015 . It does everything as autel does

I have the mk906 pro and it does most everything. Does more then the ms808
