Great guide, maybe the best guide for gold and lower league players. I've watch most other guides but they skip over a lot of stuff lower league players need to know. @Blade55555, thanks for covering this, please make more!

HOTKEYS GUIDE PLEASE
I struggle with keeping up production while in a fight
The grid system is scary to learn
So, I use default hotkeys for everything except for jumping to market or idle villagers (which I use space bar). Otherwise, all my hotkeys are default. I rarely change any hotkeys in any game I play so not sure a hotkeys guide will be useful xd
Random internet Plat perspective. I agree with almost everything but...
I think the build order part isn't as necessary. I placed straight into plat on two accounts and don't know any build order outside of 7 food 3 gold opener (I play every civ and do this on all of them). If I'm going 2nd tc or rushing units I just kinda guess on the economy distribution based on unit/tc costs. If I played more than a few games a week I'm certain I could hit diamond without looking up a build order. To hit conqueror I'd definitely need better timings/openings. I'm so bad that faster timings are minuscule impact. Once noobs are getting dark age rushed by mongol/English the build order goes out the window and they panic because they only learned how to follow a script. People want to rank up quick/easy with a script to follow and play like the pros without learning eco balancing.
I feel like learning to improvise while constantly producing vills and spending your resources matter the most (along with other mechanics like using hotkeys). I had to force myself to not click when I got the game and made my rank worse before it got better. Good example for this is in the video is why would the french player learn a BO to make a 2nd tc if he cant even produce from 1.
TLDR; I know its a bit of an unpopular take but build orders can temporarily inflate your rank without you actually learning the game or fixing the major underlying issues that are hurting your game more than not getting your 2nd tc up 20 seconds faster. Follow every other piece of advice in this video to hit Diamond and THEN shave seconds off the timings learning BOs.
Totally agree with that! People experiment a lot to get to those refined build orders and in the process they get knowledge why this is optimal and also how to deviate in case things dont go as planned, so in reality every BO is usually a set of core idea and a dozen of branches that depend on whats going on in that exact match. So learning by heart a build order is like learning by heart a note list of speed form rally co pilot and then trying to apply them to every road :)

Are there a max number of vills of quenue in TC?
I believe so but I don't know what that is. I think it's 20+ per TC though.

@@Dakkonblackblade689 Ooh, no its not bad to do this as even pro players do this. Sometimes you'll have to remember to cancel some when the que's get too large though!
