I really like this type of video! Watching the pros making everything perfectly make it look easy, but then in practice it's a whole different story.

Hey, really great start I believe, I do believe warching for others making mistakes makes you find yourselve in sometimes sinilar aituati9n. While other players may find it boring, as they do not tend to do so, finding good spots and tips as you made in this video is a good way to encourage learning beginners and veteran olayers. The more tips for each civ you give the better.
If you focus on beginners showcase for beginners mostly, I would love to hear more about build of landmarks, general stratwfy and aome perks of each civ. You have pointed some of them for french, but not like structured (maybe try to provide general overview of civ, army compos and economy perks before the video?).
Thank you once more for vid.

I'm a wood hero, thankful for these kinds of clips in part because the guides for non potato players give sound advice but I just don't always have the APM to execute said advice cleanly.
So the basics here are welcome.

Man o man, was it frustrating watching puff just throw his horses into the spearmen while the archers were RIGHT THERE just watching

Even in my very first AOE4 game it would have never come to my mind, attacking a bunch of spears with cavalry .. I knew that this wouldn’t be a good idea since I watched Braveheart more than 20 years ago 😅

Nice vid, it's good pointing out mistakes people may not know are mistakes. I don't think it's a good idea to show low low elo games too much, I think these players do stuff that people watching guides should know not to do. But having said that it is good to start from the very basics

How may I get one of my low elo games reviewed by you?
On my end, I won with an abundance of eco vs the french. I played as english. But I could of done better.

I would love to see a Bronze to Conq playthrough where you take each civ to conq and explain the thought process each player should have with base maintenance, and pressuring the opponent. PiG does something similar for SC2. I would love for a strong AoE4 player to fill this niche for this game! He often talks about macro cycles every 30 seconds and i don't know how this should translate to AoE4. Here is a link to get a feel for what i mean. ua-cam.com/video/Tr1_8C6CjMQ/v-deo.html

Good initiative but bad example.. theese players do probably everything badly.. so why look at that.. maybe try showing and explaining how to be efficient with each civ? also army compositions based on what the opponent may have? IDK.. seems to me kind of pointless to show 2 players who do everything bad and to try to tell a story about how it should be done.. why not just show :)
    I hope this helps !

Hard disagree. Finding a professional viewpoint on low elo players can help identify improvement points for players. There were several instances where the French player could have engaged and won, but Snoopa showcased how waiting too long caused the French player to lose the eco advantage, and then the military advantage. If you want to "show" how it should be done then just watch pro player games.

@@jamieleebusch man I am silver 3.. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND what is going on in pro player games, everything is too fast, they are doing A LOT of stuff at the same time, switching army comps micro, on top of complex build orders that have I don't know how many variations.. AND you can't see replays for yourself unless you are friends with the pro player.. so.. I can not look at a replay 2-3 times to understand and copy 1 player's build order..
I think this ua-cam.com/video/y97rZYiADDY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Snoopa is the best AOE 4 video I have seen, build explained, then shown in action and decision making explained GREAT JOB 100%

That's the step after pointing out common mistakes and simple build orders.
Learning aoe4 is a process and "getting out of low Eli hell" leans towards teaching the early steps.
