I watch other youtubers playing mongol as well but your playing is different and cool. They mostly rush for the second age then produce mangudai for harassment. Also most of them go second age with the dear stone and spam towers around the map and trade route. Do you think that playstyle is bad? If so, why?
Hey! Thanks for the question. I don't think their way is "bad" there are certainly Mongol players who do it who are better than me. I think I have always tried to find what works best for me playstyle rather than what "build" is hot or what others are using. I honestly have not looked at another players build order in a long time. I prefer the strategy of silver tree. I personally think mangudai are quite weak for how expensive they are, and you need khan hunter with them. I like going into aggression + trade behind it. Then I try to just base what I do off what I see the enemy doing :) I just get out there and see what I can do! haha. I also age to feudal a little slower normally to either leave possibility open for dark age harassment and having enough wood for my wheelbarrow and prod buildings. I like cav raiding and infantry fighting
You are just great! generally on youtube we dont see late game plays. but on your videos we can see what we have to do if we have long game thx
Thanks! I appreciate you watching and the feedback!
