I was subscriber 999. Happy to see you reach 1,000. Thanks for taking the time to make these vids. This was my 36th consecutive York. Already looking forward to April.
Thank you from one veteran to another veteran I’m really a few years older than u and I just u Thank You for Your Service Thank You A friend in East Tennessee Dennis
Very nice! A great overview of the show. The layouts were quite fine, this year. It was nice meeting you at the Lower Susquehanna Modular on Thursday evening. Your Army Triplex is sweet! Too bad that you're having issues with it. Not good at all for what you paid for it. Either way, a great time was had by all. An excellent video, as always.
Thank you for filming the show. I cannot go due to family illness but can now thanks to you and all who share York content. At the spring 1970 meet broke the picture rules when it was announced the Apollo 13 astronauts were safe. Shouts of joy and prayers in the Blue (only) Hall. Ps TCA didn’t discipline me for the infraction!
Congratulations on hitting the 1,000 subscriber mark! And wait a minute, did I see Santa Claus doing some shopping at the 4:38 mark? It wouldn't surprise me if Mr. C is a TCA charter memeber!
Hi, I enjoyed watching your 3 videos. Question: did you record the WTIU demo at the DCS users group meeting on Wednesday night at a York restaurant (can't remember the name)? As far as I tell, MTH has done a very poor job of how the WTIU will work. Unfortunately, MTH often seems to provide little information formation and support in general.
This is a valid point, Steve. . But I think it's more so they are stuck in their ways and just slowly getting used to these changes, that's their first thought. . . Fortunately with today's group of content creators being so respectful, I think we will continue to keep making progress so we can expand visibility to the hobby
What’s the difference between all the halls like the ones that have the big train stores like Brady’s trainz website and the other halls that you filmed much higher
To simplify it , member only halls are member to member transactions most are basically private individuals selling . Because its memberbto member salesvtheres no PA sales tax , an old tax law that the TCA falls into as an organization . The public halls are for everyone buyers can expect that the vendors are established businesses with tax ID numbers .
@@johnh.toytrainfanatic5300 its not the cost of the entry that i mind but unless i misunderstand you have to become a member or be invited by one to attend you just cant show up and pay a entrance fee
@kidamere2408 well you can just show up and pay to enter . there are public halls that are open to everyone Friday and Saturday. I would not consider the TCA being a pay wall, its an organization that benefits everyone in the hobby that anyone can join now

Hey, Roger! Unfortunately I did not attend that event, because I was flying my drone over York for my pre show video.
I don’t understand why vendors are concerned about their prices if they’re fair and honest.
…hmmm??

maybe dont have all the fees built in to attend this show why is there a paywall to attend a train show
Unfortunately the cost of renting the fairgrounds is astronomical . The cost is divided between the vendors and the attendees .
