The hobby is getting much stronger and better, due to you and the other social media posters. This point in time will probably be known as the "resurgence" period for model railroading. Keep up the good work!
Hey, I didnt really get to meet you At York but did run into you . I pointed you to Grzyboski's spot in The hall. I became a subscriber after you responded to me using my name( ED) . I will continue to follow you and DO my best to get you to that next 1000. Thanks Ed
I got back in the hobby recently after being out of it for some 30 yrs. I packed away my trains and buildings and tracks and I have been lucky to being able to resurrect a lot of the packed away items. The thing I noticed right away is how costly the hobby has become. But, the materials have become a lot better and a lot of choices. My trains were HO scale, so I have continued with that scale.
Thanks Tom! There will be a whole video coming on the MTH engine, as soon as I get the WTIU. Right now I have only Lionel conventional to control it and can't even activate the bell or whistle. So I held off until I can do it justice
Very nice! it was cool meeting you at the Lower Susquehanna Club, Thursday evening. It looked like you were getting the Triplex running correctly, but obviously, not. It got mostly what I wanted at the show, but I didn't pull the trigger on 5 AMT passenger cars, as the seller didn't put them out until later on Saturday, after I reached my spending limit. I should have done it, but oh, well. Either way, you got some great stuff. Your layout and mine are about the same dimensions. Mine is a 24x18 L. Your videos are always great and you did a fine job videoing the Meet & Greet on Friday. Hopefully, you get that Triplex running the way it should, soon enough. An excellent video, as always.
Thank you for Service and as a firefighter service There aren’t many u tube guys that I want to meet but I do someday hope I meet you and Chris from Chris’s trains and things Thank you you for all you share
Thank you, James! The flats came from www.EmpireRail.co (not .com). That being the web site on the card, I myself can't get it to open, and UA-cam will not allow me to post the phone number.

Well sir, the hobby is certainly going through changes and evolving... But, it's surely NOT DYING!
Completely agree, Mike
Great video Steve! Congratulations on locating your last turbine! I can’t wait to see it run! 👍
You and me both, Frank!
York doesn't have to be as big as it once was to still be an awesome show. I had a blast!
Couldn't agree more, Newt!

Indeed a super haul Steve. Who produces the flats ? And a tip of the helmet to you for your fire service. Thank You "343" 👍

Nice haul also thank you for being a first responder at The World Trade Center
Thanks for your support, Michael!
Wait, you teased us and didn't show your new engine! LOL
Yup, 😁. Going to get it out of the box after I get the WTIU. With only Lionel power, I can't even blow the whistle or activate the bell🤷.
Who makes the building fronts ????
I second this question!
Tom Murphy at Empire Rail. Email me at steve@bigboytrains.net for his contact info
