Holy MOLY! What am I doing spinning my wheels at York when I could just go up the road to THIS! Next year this one is on my list!! What an amazing show! Thanks for sharing it
So cool! These layouts are so diverse and superb. They give me some ideas for my layout, which I need to get going on the scenery. It was humorous to see you on that rotating pad, for sure. There are a number of O gauge UA-camrs that feature the Milwaukee Road and Wisconsin, in general. My dad was born and raised in Columbus, WI, in 1912 and was a Badger alum. I haven't been back since I was a little boy. I'll have to make the Pilgrimage next year. An excellent video, as always.
A couple of things caught my eye. That huge, coal drag and the Burlington Zephyr, that was really moving. I just love fast, streamlined passenger trains, especially the stainless steel streamliners, which look cool running at passenger train speeds. That coal train was impressive, with all of those cars. It is pretty much like the ones that I ran from Conway and Chicago to Toledo. They are some of the smoothest trains to run. It's great to see trains like that on big layouts.

Make a trip of it. Also hit the Illinois Railway museum and set yourself up to operate a diesel engine during the trip!
