The team Rocket set has been said to not have any dark pokemon in this initial release. If they come out with a 2nd wave then possibly, but all indicators are saying no dark pokemon with the set

In 2021 when Evolving Skies came out, i waited. I didnt know the market well enough and was worried about how much modern was out there and how ridiculously big the set itself was etc etc. I put a lot of money into Champions Path and Shining Fates and they did little to nothing...So I waited. To this day, all I have in ES is a couple of three pack blisters (not even the umbreon promo) and a couple of loose boosters. This set isnt the next evolving skies quality wise, but the principle is the same supply and demand wise. Dont wait.
So I was checking in with all my sources and no one was reporting as bad of a cut as you were describing. Ppl are getting their stellar crown allocation for Surging sparks. No one reported being cut below that level. W/e tho looks like my case is coming through.

I'm pretty sure Danny Phantump said he got the same allotment as he did for other sets. He said it was short printed relative to demand, which is much higher than other sets. I'm not sure why Eli would have gotten cut so much, but it doesn't seem consistent.
Gamestop has SP booster box at $129.99 as of today. So at drop it is $130. Glad I got mine ordered a month ago at $100/box. I will sit mine by my ellipal and wait. 😊
Thats, because he doesn't solely sell Pokémon. He buys millions worth of sports as well so distros will meet his demands over the small shops. Plus, he's been in the business for way longer than most of these people selling. I got a LCS that never has problems getting product or hit with low allocations because they been in business since the 80s and buy the most product between sports and Pokémon than any shop in the Midwest.

I'll be honest I'm in California, every single wallmart, target, best buy, are all sold out of 95% of the pokemom supply. I went to our new super center next town over and they had nothing left not a single pack

I also don’t know why anyone’s worried about reprints it literally barley touches it just watching people in uk buying the 151 bundles and then see them up for 50 a couple days later paldea evolved didn’t go down in England and short printed set that’s rocketing before it comes out Pokemon market at the strongest all year and 151 going to the moon makes sence to get the good sets now !!!
Don’t make a blanket statement about why people hate on the set. It’s a solid set but not worth the hype based on the pokemon in it. The ceruledge and hydreigon are the best cards in my opinion. I understand the fomo aspect but I’m holding my reservations. Especially with all of the sets coming up. Just my thoughts on it.
Ahhh you are talking about at distribution prices. Is there a way an individual who doesn’t have an LLC to get those type of distribution price for a case or 2
You would have to join a program where you pay a monthly fee to have access but even those are getting full and boxes and getting more limited unfortunately..
Is it short printed cause they are working on printing more 151 for the holidays? Are they sending more booster boxes to larger retail stores and cutting the boxes sent to distribution centers for local store? I don't know if they both use the same distribution centers or if Pokémon sends straight to the vendors for those stores.
Im a fool. I graded dozes of the 151 evolution line in 10s, and sold all of them for in the 120-240 range for all of them besides zard. It was good margin but dang, the new priced hurt to see.

Why not grade a stamped promo (or not), sell for etb price w comps and you have your packs for free XD... idk I'm just some casual pokemon collector/investor/joe schmoe... I knew from a mile off this was going to be the best main set we've had so far in the S&S and it will be. Preordered 2 BB cases x12 Pokemon center ETB's the demand for this set is real. Though I still fully expect it to be overshadowed by some of next years sets to a degree. Booster box cases have practically sold out at most of our online retailers here in the UK though booster boxes are still readily available at £100ish for now. The success of Twighlight should be telling people everything they need to know about how this set will be received by the masses. When you break it down and say what is in this set that people will really want? Twighlight has The greninja and carmine, plus about 3 desirable art rares Chansey, Eevee, infernape and the pinsir maybe. Surging Sparks from what I see so far has more going for it and with the mini boom period we are in it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
SV has grate Artworks not only in Sparks and in the future alle will appreciate great Artworks like GardevoirEX from Base or even the Future Legendarys from Temporal Forces 👍i dont think the garte hat for SV is fair its not as good as SWSH jet but if you compered old SHSW sets with the early SV sets than SV is better 😂😂😂😂
The difference is sealed is much safer than slabs but if you hit the right slabs at the right times you can do better with slabs but it's much more risky

Fomo isnt even a bad thing. Somtimes there IS a sense of urgency, and it is warrented, and can still be the best time to pick up. I hate that its like such a nasty term. Fomoing only is bad if your buys end up being bad.

Pokemon is just trying to regulate their boxes so they sell closer to msrp. If it goes to $200 they’ll have a very decent reprint.
