So nice to see people outside of the shareholders' community talk about Gamestop's transformation and bullish fundamentals. Thank you for this video guys! Since Ryan Cohen's hostile takeover, the company has been transforming into a customer obsessed company. They're here to delight customers and do things differently. Everyone (investors AND collectors) should take a minute or two to look into the transformation they're doing. It really is a beautiful thing.

GameStop already is selling Booster Boxes you just have to ask for them because they’re in the drawers behind the counter and the back.
My LGS has minimal Pokémon product - it’s 75% comics, 20% Warhammer, 3% MTG, 2% Pokemon - so I already spend most of my money buying Pokemon at big box places like Walmart or GameStop. If I can start finding BB and raw singles regularly at GS, they would get 95% of my hobby money (the other 5% reserved for any Walmart restock deals).
Ripping boxes = shares buyback! 😂

I feel like gamestops and LCS can co exist. I’ll stay with my LGS for the knowledge and deals. My wife. Will always use GameStop as she feels much more comfortable in there. I think this will happen for a lot of people.

The sports card market has been a bit crazy for a while now. Top tier hobby boxes like prizm, immaculate, national treasure, exquisite have been expensive for years now. Even top athletes break boxes to pull top chase cards of them self. Trading cards are just more main stream now, even TV shows like King of collectibles on netflix are showing the top collectible sales and a lot are sports memorabilia and cards. Everybody has money to blow right now, and it helps when the stock market just keeps hitting new highs all the time.
Shouldn't gamestop just offer LGS to buy them out?
Why buy them out when you can simply watch them bleed out holding sealed Magic?

What do you think GameStop would do around msrp vs market pricing for booster boxes ect ? They have great tcg sales from time to time but otherwise currently stuck to msrp right now. Won’t work with boosters.
Everyone already seems super careful and safe with their investments. I will add that one should ensure with safety deposit boxes to check the fine print covers what you plan to/are currently storing (and that it isn't a prohibited item) and insured for it's full value. Check with your institution/state, etc for the finer details to ensure you are fully protected and covered.

you cant buy every set if you are in a budget and you want to make max profit. 151 is beating twilight and paldea (dont talk about paradox...) => and we bought in a month ago not a year ago and not from distro but wallmart/costco. We stayed on the side line not scared to miss anything but waiting for the proper opportunity for 151 since we knew. And now we are doing the same for other sets :).
its more risky i get it but buying evry set is not an option when you have xp or not enof cash (which is most of your audience i think). This what makes a difference between a 2 years experience investor vs a 10 year one in pokemon. You should evaluate this risky option in some videos and not tunnel in one way "the diversify mindset". But its your channel :) you decide. An Idea maybe -> Try to do videos marked "the risky investor move serie #1 #2 ..." and explain this kind of investing when you see a potentiel. 151 was screaming...
Your problem is you are using 1 set that people got extremely lucky on to make your point. This is rarely ever the case. Look at Crown zenith or other sets that were seen as the best set or play at the time. I still hold true to buying in every set instead of try to pick them. It is the same in the stock market. The people who try to pick stocks most always lose to the mutual funds or indexes. Only a very small % every beat them.
I do appreciate the opinion but using 151 as a reason to try to pick sets is not a good metric to make an entire investing plan off of going forward.
sword and shield was evolving. This era its 151 and maybe another set coming ;) soon. But agree with you its risky crown was an exemple 100% transparency we exited crown pretty fast since it didnt mimik evolving curve.

I just do not understand one thing : 10, 20, 30 years later who will be the customers? Do not tell me "fans" because price will be continue increasing in the future not everybody will have a high income to buy boxes. I'm just saying the supply WAY more higher as 20 years before ! Base boxes sold with a high price tag because at those days just a "few" people stored a few box, now every 3rd person storing CASES !

@gregthomas6637 That is for you to decide if you believe the hobby and Pokemon will still be loved and collected in 20 to 30 years.
I will say people said these kind of things 8 years ago to me and now Pokemon is even stronger than it was then.
I understand the fear and it's a legitimate fear. You have to decide for yourself what your risk tolerance and your outlook is for the future.
I want Pokemon to do serialized cards. They should follow the sports road in that way. Variants on alt arts or something. All the people crying over hype will cry more but I think they would be appealing to the bigger % in the community by adding it.
