This is truly unfortunate, but you need to read your paperwork. I have had to fight my own parents to prevent them signing something like this to get some extra money. I ended up giving them the money to avoid their being scammed. If you have family that doesn't read paperwork, you need to keep an eye out for this. I doubt she will get anything back. I saw the other episode where it talked about prior selling the house to a friend for 50,000 will then sold it right back to him. Sounds like this guy had no money and no actual dollars change hands. Then Pryor took out a loan for $265,000 on the property and never made a payment. This was a scam from the word go.
